We had a great time!

We had a great visit. It was cozy and plenty of room. All the necessities we needed were there and it was great being so close to the beach. We can’t wait to visit again!

Great place close to the beach.

It was a great place for our family to stay with a quick walk to the beach. The host was very responsive and had the place outfitted perfect for our needs. We look forward to staying there again!

Relaxing Lake Huron escape

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, well-stocked cottage. It had everything we needed for a great week, from kitchen essentials to beach chairs and a wagon for the short walk to Lake Huron. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was so relaxing. My children and I loved spending time together in the spacious backyard and enjoyed a few evenings around the fire pit. Everything was thoughtfully provided for a comfortable, memorable week at the beach.

We enjoyed the Lake Huron beach several days. It's just a short walk away. The neighborhood is quiet and nestled in tall trees making walks enjoyable.The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and eating.We used the BBQ grill and fire pit in the large backyard.Can't wait to do it again!

Cozy, comfortable cottage with Great Lake access

We really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and we really enjoyed the beach access. Loved the big yard, privacy, and fire pit. We hope to return!

Cute cottage

Very comfortable for 2 people. Loved the hand-crafted wood furniture! The bed was comfortable as was the living room furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beach access is amazing - large and clean and just a short walk away. Very quiet neighborhood that is close enough to town to be convenient but not have the noise and traffic.

Quiet vacation near beach.

Included everything needed for a relaxing vacation near the beach. Property Manager gave a quick response to help us find a few kitchen items upon arrival. Wanted to bring our dog but no pets were allowed.

Nice cottage close to the lake

We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Pines. The property was clean and well-kept. The walk to the beach was about 2 minutes and while we didn't end up spending a day there, we were assured we could. We just love Oscoda Beach and Shoreline Park (for Tony's Tacos!) so we spent our beach time at those locations. It was a colder week than usual so we spend more time indoors and didn't have any complaints about the cottage.

Such a great getaway!

This place was perfect! We were surprised to snag this rental so last minute. The walk to the beach was about 3-5 minutes tops which was great. I think the best feature of the property was the beach-cart they provided for lugging down your beach supplies. The house doesn’t have central air but the multiple window units kept the house super cool and comfortable. The house had everything we needed; a grill, a great fire pit, plenty of space for all of us, and a beautiful deck to enjoy coffee on in the morning. The hosts were really accommodating and easy to communicate with, and the surrounding neighbors were friendly. This place was great and we’re already talking about coming back! Thanks Erica and Pat!!

Spacious cozy cottage for a family stay

We stayed Mon-Fri in this VERY clean, extremely well-equipped, sweet and roomy cottage. My teens loved the folksy themed rooms and the books of ‘what to do’ in East Tawas. There were fans and AC a plenty for a warm week on the lake. The spacious kitchen was stocked with all the tools one could ever need and the house was sparkling clean. The yard is immense, the setting is serene and the neighborhood lovely with an easement pathway to the private beaches accessible to residents and renters. After a bit of a summer storm we lost electricity for a few hours one day, and The owner checked in immediately, which was greatly appreciated but unnecessary. It was no big deal, and the town pizzeria stayed open without power and lovely beach walks are electricity free. (This small town’s power company seemed far more efficient than my metropolitan company!). Great WiFi and tv for my husband to laze while the teens and I explored. Thanks for a great stay.

Family Reunion

Great property! Great location close to town. Close to beach with all the things you’ll need for the beach like, chairs, toys and a wagon to haul everything for your 3 minute walk. Loved the front deck. We sat and enjoyed our coffee in the morning and my 18 month old granddaughter played on it without worry because it was all gated to where she couldn’t get out. Erica also made sure there was a baby gate in the house for the stairway to the loft. Thank you Erica and Pat for a great stay and your great communication while we were there. We’ll definitely be coming back.

My family couldn't be happier with the week we spent at Emerald Pines. The check in process was simple and communication with the manager was fantastic. The beach access was very close and so was the town for supplies. Thanks for the great vacation!

Great location!

The house was located close to town and within walking distance from the beach. Very nice beach, also. Overall, a great place to stay! A few recommendations: need directions to operate microwave Pizza pans and cutter A few less plug in scents We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!
