Joyful Maine Escape: A Three-Bedroom Water View Townhouse

This stylish, relaxing townhouse is perfect for family and friends looking for a Maine retreat. Relax by the fire pit on the patio or on the balcony overlooking the Sheepscot River after a day of kayaking, antiquing, or an evening in nearby Wiscasset.

Featuring an open concept kitchen with granite countertop, small Island, & appliances; a very large living room with an L-shape sofa, coffee table, dining table, 60" LCD TV, and Central AC and Heating System. Also a newly installed instant water heater!

There are two bedrooms with queen sized beds in the main house with another bedroom on the first floor with its own private entrance and bathroom. An additional air mattress is available for additional guests by request.

Self Check In/Out

Access, check-in, and checkout instructions are available in the Vrbo app 3 days before check-in, and all other information is available as soon as they book. VRBO will also email the guide to you 3 days before check in. If you have booked the cottage and not received the check-in information 48 hours before your arrival, please contact the host through the app or using the contact information provided at the time of booking.

Everything was great! Clean, great location, host was prompt with responses, well equipped. A few things I would have liked nightstand tables and use of the washer and dryer…. No complaints!

Maine Cabbage Island Excursion

Squeaky Clean and Great location with beautiful water views. Description matches the home with great amenities and household items stocked very well in the kitchen and bathrooms. Would’ve been nicer if we were able to open the doors on the first floor in living room and bedroom. Also, the main access door needs some adjusting it was difficult for the mechanism to open and unlock. Overall the home was good.

Quaint and cozy

Beautiful cozy house for our family vacation. The view is gorgeous especially sitting up on the upper deck porch at night. Everything was clean. It’s a nice central location to everywhere we visited - House was perfect for our stay .

New Year's Eve Retreat

My husband and I shared this property with another couple for New Year's Eve. The house was clean and lovely and had plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes. Also coffee was available. We would have had a gorgeous river view if it hadn't been raining. A small issue is turning left out of the road in the summer because there's a lot of traffic on that route. Nevertheless, we had a fabulous visit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

Beautifully Appointed Townhouse

Beautifully appointed townhouse with all the supplies you need (lots of fluffy towels, kitchen supplies, handsoap, Kleenex, etc.) Lovely views, great mid-coast Maine location (just a hop, skip, and a jump to Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, Bath, etc.), and festive Christmas decorations (stayed just a few days before the holiday).

Wheelchair accessible home

Unfortunately this home was listed wheelchair accessible; however there were steps to enter the home and a rock walkway upon entrance. I had to purchase a $600 ramp just to enter the home for the weekend and rely on a friend to get me in and out of the home. Very unfortunate this home was declared wheelchair accessible by the owner. Once in the home the windows and doors were duct taped shut and not to be opened. It was very bizarre. There was dirt in the silverware drawer, the fireplace was not to be used and a huge tv was blocking the views of the river. It’s just a strange place and NOT wheelchair accessible as advertised.

Wished we could have stayed longer

Great property in a small waterfront community. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the entire unit was spotless. Just feet from the water’s edge, with nice views from the living room and two of the bedrooms. The kitchen had everything you would need to make a meal, and there was even coffee for the Keurig. We stayed only one night, but could envision being comfortable here for a longer stay.

Great location & views

Overall would highly recommend, but with just a few improvements the property could be much more comfortable. Not deal breakers, but a few things to be aware of: the (master) downstairs bedroom with attached bath has a queen bed and extremely limited space to move around, with no bedside tables. Access to outside is restricted based on notes taped to the doors to downstairs patio asking you to not open those doors. Upstairs balcony is not screened. No washer and dryer. AC worked well, check in process was easy, location fabulous and host communication excellent.

What a wonderful property! The location is great - everything you could need just a few minutes away- (groceries, restaurants, coffee, pharmacy, etc). clean and spacious property with beautiful views and very walkable to bring your furry friend for a walk. Beautiful, quiet home. Interior was perfect, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The host was friendly and communicative. Absolutely perfect for our quick stay! Cannot rave enough abt this home! They were even thoughtful enough to provide a doggie bed and bowls for fido!

Nice property - great location

Really enjoyed our stay, despite the lack of hot water for morning showers. The owner was easy to contact and helped solve the issue over the phone. His management company also followed up, but we were leaving before the hot water was ready. The townhouse was roomy, in a great location and the beds were comfortable. If it were our place, we would have rearranged the living room furniture to face the fire place (November stay) - there were instructions telling us not to.
