Beachfront House w/ Wi-Fi on Amazing Lake Michigan Site! Close to Sturgeon Bay

Come relax in this secluded getaway on the shore of amazing Lake Michigan. The property boasts 100 feet of waterfront, which provides a calming backdrop to your activities. Watch the sun rise from the porch while you have your coffee, and fall asleep to the gentle sound of waves. The living room provides a gorgeous view out over the lake. Although the house feels tucked away in nature, it is close to everything! Sturgeon Bay, Sister Bay and Fish Creek are just a 20-minute drive from the house. It’s even convenient to get to Lambeau Field to see the Packers only an hour away. Cave Point County Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park are just minutes away, as well as local businesses offering lots of outdoor activities in the area. The location offers simple access to the many restaurants, theaters, and festivals that Door County has to offer.
The house has two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, as well as a kitchen and dining area, and a large deck. In the summer, use the outdoor shower to rinse off after a dip in the lake. A grill is available during warm weather for the perfect cookout, followed by a bonfire in the outdoor fire pit. There is free high-speed internet and smart TV, self check-in, and free parking. Coffee and tea are provided for all guests. This house is a perfect spot no matter your itinerary: stay home in the cozy cottage, or use it as your home base as you travel and sightsee throughout the area.
In the winter the area has excellent hiking and snowshoeing.

Beautiful view!

Great location on quiet side but close to everything with cross roads. Loved the view and sound of the waves! The kitchen had a standout view when raining and the deck was great on good days.

Beautiful spot on Lake Michigan

We enjoyed our stay. The view of the lake was wonderful. We were able to kayak right from our own little beach, just down the stairs. The landscapes you see from the water are lovely. The great room is nicely and uniquely decorated and comfortable. The steep stairs to the kitchen were OK for us but might be challenging for some.

Cute and cozy

The cottage was nice and clean. However, we did have concerns with safety. The stairs in the cottage are very steep, and there is only one hand rail. We did not attempt to even try to go down to the beach because the stairway did not look safe or sturdy. The pictures of the stairway to the beach were deceiving. If these item are upgraded then I would say this cottage is terrific.

What a wonderful cabin along Lake Michigan!

This place has it all: wonderful hosts, a prime lake location, a functional kitchen, a grill and firepit outside, natural light looking out at the lake, outside space to watch the pelicans and listen to the waves, and a spot not too far to locations all over the peninsula, especially close to Cave Point County Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park. You will not be disappointed if you book this place! One note: There are steep steps to get from the living room and bedrooms to the kitchen and bathroom with shower. It wasn't an issue for us, but keep that in mind. Definitely a place I would like to come back to - and I rarely visit the same places!

Wonderful Girls Weekend

What a wonderful place to enjoy our girls get-away! Such a beautiful home with all the right amenities - fire pit with a great view of the stars, deck for coffee and amazing sunrises, and easy access to local attractions. Eric was so responsive to our questions and we felt very well taken care of. We appreciated all the recommendations for day adventures and dining out. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a cozy abode with just the right amount of privacy but everything you'd want/need just around the corner!

Cute cottage on Lake Michigan

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were not there except for the evenings but the home was clean and included all the coffee and tea we could drink! Wish the weather was nicer so we could have enjoyed the outdoors more. The outdoor fire pit looked lovely. Thank you for a really nice stay!

We are both architects from Milwaukee and love coming to Door County. We hope you can book the place because we love coming here as much as possible. When we are not here, we open it up to our family and friends. You can always get ahold of us and we are very responsive, and have family and friends in the area. We know you will love our place and will want to come back for a relaxing stay.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We have been coming to Door County for years. Early in our careers we rented places through VRBO, eventually our friends and family started to move to Door County. We tried for years to find a place and through an extensive search we found the perfect spot. We love this house because of its unique landscape. The land is technically classified as being in an ecological heritage zone, and is minutes away from the famous Cave Point County Park! Our property is larger than it looks, and the house is essentially built into a rock cliff. The design is a mix of old and new. We furnished the house with all new furniture. The stars are typically very bright on this side of the lake and the campfire is soothing. The place is truly one of a kind.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Have coffee out on the deck and watch the sunrise in the morning while swinging on our porch swing. Take a trip down to the lake and walk to Jacksonport! Lake Shore Road and Cave Point Road are know for biking and are on scenic tours. There are many awesome parks in the area. Jacksonport has some excellent kayak rentals as well.
