The Lorian complex is comprised of luxury multi-level condominiums that boast incredible views of the San Sofia Ridge and Sneffels mountain range, or across to the expansive Wilson Mesa vista. Located just above the Mountain Village Boulevard on San Joaquin Road in Mountain Village, there is easy on-grade ski access to the Double Cabins ski run, literally across the street. It is also a short walk to the Gondola and Mountain Market grocery store. From there, jump on the Gondola for a 4-minute aerial ride to the Core of Mountain Village where you'll find restaurants and shops, as well as the Ski School meeting area.

Guests who choose to stay at the Lorian enjoy fine amenities, including exercise facilities and a clubhouse. The clubhouse is the perfect place for your group to gather as it features a pool table, poker table, ping pong, and sitting area with stone fireplace. This condo is on the same level as game room and pool access.

Master bedroom: king size bed with full bathroom suite and steam shower and clawfoot tub.

Christmas Ski Vacation

Best place to stay! The location of this property was excellent. Directly across the street from the village grocery store, liquor store and gondola. And we literally walked 1 minute across the street to sundance trail and skied down to Chondola 1. Beautiful Condo and has all the extras that make your trip that much easier. From the the extra hot tub towels located at the door to being stocked with tools, coffee, teas, laundry detergent, etc... Owner was very helpful and responsive (within minutes). Couldn't have stayed at a better place. Highly recommend.

Great Property, a few things to note...

This is an Excellent property with a few caveats that future renters should know about. Advantages: 1. walking across a street (albeit with ski boots and equipment on mostly level ground) you get to a double green and get to ski down directly to the lifts. So. essentially ski in/ski out 2. excellent stocked kitchen... we brought equipment in case, it was not necessary. The owner went out of her way to provide stuff (cast iron, roasting pan which was not used) 3. great communication from the owner on all situations The drawbacks (and some of these are things to really consider): 1. It is really cold in the refurbished basement (contains the master bedroom and a kids bunk room). There is essentially electrical floor heaters, that's it. My kids had to sleep on couches the first night (the bunk room was frigid!! the windown was shut).... The owner provided a space heater which helped immensely!! If you are thinking of renting this property, please make sure that the heat is adequate downstairs. 2. The most important negative about this place: the owner is trying to sale this property. We booked at least 1/2 year before to rent a property during the prime holiday season. The owner listed this property prior to our stay, had a sales contract that fell through even before our stay (what if the property sold and the new owners did not recognize us staying there? That would be a lot of holiday planning potentially ruined, we were never told this situation). Throughout our stay, we were constantly nagged at showing the property during our holiday stay. We emphasized the need for privacy during our family get together, however was asked of our availability for the property to be shown to prospective buyers, including one that was going to fly in to see the property. After kindly and hinting that we needed privacy, the owner still asked us to show the property after the realtor received a polite answer to try not disturb us during this precious (premium paid) holiday peak season rental. After a more poignant response to the owner, it was quiet for the rest of our stay which was great. However, the experience after paying a lot of $$ for a peak holiday stay is totally unacceptable.

Amazing place and an amazing location!! Walk to grocery store and gondola and restaurants. We parked and never touched our van the entire time we were there.

Beautiful, clean home

Highly recommend this beautiful mountain condo. Great for groups / families with an open floor plan. Master bedroom is lovely and plenty of other space for everyone. 5 minute walk to top of gondola and the marker, nearby several hikes. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub but the amenities were nice to have as an option.

Wonderful vacation

Our party loved everything about this property. Its location is one the most convenient in the Mountain Village. It is really close to the Village Market where you can get groceries and the Gondola's Market Plaza station so getting to the the Mountain Village Center or the city of Telluride is very easy. You can get on to the slopes from right across the street which is a big plus. Inside it is very cozy and comfortable with 4 large well appointed rooms and 4 bathrooms. The master bathroom has a steam room with bluetooth streaming music. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a laundry as well. The building has a gym, club room and an outdoor sauna. Parking is located indoor so you don't have remove snow or knock ice off the windshield. Our host Jana, was very helpful and informative. We would love to come back!

More spacious than expected. Location incredible.

This venue was simply perfect. Concer coming in was space of commin area ehich turned out to be much more spacious than the pictures depicted. What a welcome surprise! Gondola and a great medium sized grocery store within 200 ft. With 4 small kids age 6-10, the ski school was so easy to access since it is immediately next to the gondola when we got off. Amazing!

We are a family of 4 who really just enjoy about any adventure! We live in nearby Montrose and when the condo is not rented, we certainly like to spend time at the Lorian.
