Serendipity is a beach front home with a hot tub, pool table and foos ball table! A unique beach house experience with large decks, plenty of outdoor seating, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi and amazing views.

PLEASE NOTE THIS HOUSE ACCOMMODATES EIGHT (8) PEOPLE (INCLUDING CHILDREN & BABIES) MAXIMUM. NO EXCEPTIONS.

For security reasons, there is a camera in front of the house.

Serendipity is a beautiful beach front home with many amenities, full private game room, hot tub and hot and cold outdoor shower. Serendipity has an extended deck with lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the view of the Gulf. It is located right next to park and near many restaurants that are within walking distance. Being the first house gives you a perfect view of the 79' St. George Lighthouse and additional views of the Gulf. As well as views of the sunset! The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms. Each bedroom has an attached full bathroom. The kitchen has new appliances and is fully equipped. The “outside” game room is enclosed for privacy. It features a large hot tub with a view of the gulf, pool table and foos ball for hours of fun and relaxation. The boardwalk, just off the back deck, provides instant access to one of the world's most beautiful beaches.

I had to get stuff to clean the shower it was bad.washer was moldy. Over all is wasn’t very clean. Other than that is was a good trip

Can’t Beat the Location

had a great time at your property - loved spending time on both decks looking at the gulf - probably should spruce up the bike inventory (plenty of bikes but many were not in working order) - that’s the only issue - everything else was fabulous

Was a fantastic location for our grandkids and entire family to enjoy time together. We wanted a place to enjoy with our 2 little dogs as well and this place did not disappoint! Loved the location, clean, and right off the beach!! LOVED everything about it. Was also so nice to be the end of the row of homes to get the great view of sunset at night from the balcony!! We hope to be back in the future!!

Amazing Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place! We absolutely love the area because it’s so pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog with us everywhere. The home was the perfect location to everywhere we wanted to go so we could walk. We loved all the amenities and the fact that the beach was right outside our back yard. The deck views were gorgeous and so peaceful on the days where it wasn’t much of a beach day. We will definitely be booking this place again in the future! Heather was an excellent host and was very prompt in her communications!

PERFECT RELAXING STAY

Could not of asked for a for a better location. The house was perfect for us. Check in process was extremely smooth. Not a single complaint other that the trip was too short. Will definitely recommend and be back this summer!

Beautiful and peaceful stay

We enjoyed staying at this home. Very comfortable and views were stunning. We loved the location that was so convenient to everything we wanted. Could've been a little cleaner, and water pressure on showers was low.

Great Time

Nice home and great location. Perfect for our two teenagers and the two friends they brought with them. We have stayed in several of the island cottages over the years and enjoyed this one very much. There are a few maintenance issues that need to be attended to but nothing that will affect your vacation in a negative way.

Lovely Stay

We had a great time! House is close to everything, which is convenient, but it does mean it is busy in the area. The public beach access is right next door so the beach in front of the house gets crowded quickly. The teen boys spent most of their time in the game room and had a blast. Will probably need an upgrade to the equipment down there soon as a lot of it is quite worn. The house does have a ton of steps so if you have limited mobility, do not stay here. Rooms were comfortable. Living room furniture was not the cleanest but it wasn’t a deal breaker. House could use a deep clean but was overall very nice and comfortable. A good time was had by all!

Beach house

The property was good only about half or less of the jets work in the hottub and the bottom bedroom door is almost impossible to open. The water got cut off when we was cleaning trying to get ready to leave. The game room doors was hard to open.

Nice location; needs some cleaning and maintenance.

We enjoyed our stay. Location and view are great. The unit needs a deep cleaning and some maintenance, starting with the front door. Very disappointed in the game room. It is located in the area below the main living area. It is cluttered and the equipment is old. We didn't use the hot tub as it is also down there and just not a very inviting atmosphere.

Heart of Town

This house was perfect for me, my husband and son. My son loved the games downstairs and the hot tub was perfect for the cooler days when we couldn’t swim. Loved being in the heart of town where we could walk to everything. Having the park and lighthouse basically in the yard was great as well. They had everything we needed for our stay for the week. We will definitely be back soon!

We had a great time at this property. The house was exactly as described. The only issue we had was that we could not get the tv to work in one of the bedrooms. We really didn't need it and I waited until we left to report it.

Incredible location and responsive property manager!

If you prefer to be in the middle of the action (even on drama-free SGI), this is a perfect house. It’s adjacent to the park and lighthouse, so easily walkable to all the island’s food and drink. This house has everything you need, but there were a few quirks: the slider in the main room requires quite a bit of muscle to open and close and we could never get it to lock; the dishwasher’s capability is questionable; there was mildew in my shower that some tilex would likely have eliminated; and there is no spigot outside for foot-washing (just a shower that sprays uncontrollably). But the good far outweighs these smallish negatives. As mentioned, location is unbeatable, beds are clean and comfy, and when the upstairs AC wasn’t performing as it should, Heather was incredibly responsive and the problem was resolved within 24 hours. The kitchen is nicely stocked and the house provided the perfect home for our weeklong stay with grandparents, teenagers and a dog!

Great Location

It was the perfect location right on the beach. The home's balconies are extended more than most of the homes which is such a nice feature. It is the first house next to the lighthouse so everything is within walking distance. The island is so nice with no high rises and a very peaceful friendly atmosphere. Every question we had Heather responded right away.

We love this house!

We love this house. This is the third time we have stayed a week in this home. Wonderful vacation with family! The only negative would be one of the bedrooms was not usable as the bed was broken. Looks like it had been repaired before as there was two by fours nailed together under the bed to help keep it together. When I contacted the manager she said I will fix it for the next renters as I can't antisapate these things. Didn't make me feel like I got what I paid for. I would still stay here again, just disappointed. I would sleep on the floor in this home as I love st George so much!

My name is Heather and I am the property manager for Serendipity along with a few others on the island. I was born and raised in Apalachicola which is just across the bridge. I LOVE the beach and love to be able to help guests enjoy it as much as I do!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This property is very unique as it is the closest home to the lighthouse and is very central. It's right in the middle of the island which allows you to basically walk to everything if you wanted to. There is a grocery store, ice cream shop and souvenir shop right across the street. The lighthouse is basically in the front yard and the beach is right outside the back door. The decks were extended to provide more space to gather and enjoy the sunrise and perfect sunsets. The lower level was enclosed and converted to a "game room" where there is a hot tub also with a pool table and other games to enjoy.
