St George Island, Spacious, Pet Friendly, Private Pool, Elevator, Sleeps 12

Enjoy all the Gulf has to offer at our spacious home on Saint George Island. Less than 300 steps is all it takes to lounge on the sand and frolic in the surf. The top floor great room features a vaulted ceiling and large windows to enjoy gulf views. The living area features a 55” flat screen TV and abundant comfortable seating, perfect for family gatherings. The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep easy, the dining table seats eight and the large kitchen counter seats five. A large screened-in porch off the dining space is ideal for watching the gulf and has dining available for seven. There is one of two principal bedrooms on this floor with gorgeous gulf views, TV, king bed and en suite bathroom and shower. There is convenient half bath at the top of the stairs

Take the elevator down to the first floor where there is a bonus entertainment area with a large screen TV and lots of comfy sofas. Perfect for the kids to entertain themselves when the grownups are upstairs. The second principal bedroom is on this floor with identical ammenities as the one on the second floor. The queen bedroom has a TV and a slider onto the first floor deck and the bunk room has two triple bunks. The queen and bunk rooms share a bathroom with a large shower.

Child friendly amenities including pack-n-play, high chair for convenient dining and games for all ages. 2 pets (maximum weight 60 lbs. each) are welcome with additional large pet fee of $50 per pet.

Outdoors on the ground level there is under house concrete parking, heated swimming pool, picnic table, park style grill, fire pit, enclosed outdoor shower, enclosed commode and fish cleaning station.

There is ample space for the kids to play in the back yard.

The house sits just a few blocks from the lighthouse on the west end of the island and is close to the restaurants and shops in downtown Saint George. Golf carts are allowed in this neighborhood.

The house was lovely and the space laid out well. The kids could hang out downstairs. We enjoyed the pool and the beach access was great. Perfect location.

Great family vacation

Three generations of the family spent a week of fun in the sun, fishing, swimming, beaching, and eating good food. Great house for our families needs.

We had a great stay. We had a group of 12. The kids loved all sleeping together in the bunk room. The teenager slept on the pullout couch for a little more privacy. And each couple had their own room and bathroom. My mom has difficulty walking up and down stairs (there are a lot) so the elevator was a life saver. The kids LOVED the pool and the walk to the beach was super easy. Great location! The neighbors were kind and helpful. We had a great week!

Family Long Weekend

This is the perfect place for multiple families or a family with teens. There is plenty of space to spread out and have some privacy. Well supplied with kitchen utensils, beach towels and chairs. Easy walk to public beach access. Cute little pool.

Excellent for our diverse group!

We really enjoyed the house. Great price for location, equitable primary bedrooms, 2 large living room spaces, well stocked kitchen, and very close to beach. We love the view and heated pool! Host was easy to communicate with. Only issue we had was the hot water ran out quickly and wish there were curtains on the windows.

Beach Week

We get away for “Beach Week” annually if possible with family and friends. What an incredible place for our getaway this year!! Good location, beautiful and well maintained home with just about everything needed to make our time restful and enjoyable. We will return!!

The house was perfect. Everything was clean. The kitchen was stocked amazingly with crockpot, juicer, air fryer,...beds were comfortable. The heated pool felt amazing.

Great location and space

Just returned home from our first trip to St George and had a great time. The layout of the house was perfect for our family 6 adults and 3 small children. The elevator was a lifesaver. The kitchen very well stocked. Glad we realized the grill was charcoal in advance but used it for dinner two nights with no issue. The picnic table and outside shower and bathroom were amazing. The distance to the beach perfect and the location was quiet and convenient. The house is ready for a deeper cleaning and some minor repairs but I would recommend it to any family headed for vacation. The furniture and beds are nice and the washer/dryer large. The house has a/c on both floors allowing for comfort and different settings on both levels. I would rent this house again.

Christmas break

The house is well appointed, having a great assortment of cooking utensils that made meals go smoothly. Plenty of seating, great views, the elevator was a great help with baggage. The pool was wonderful. I’m glad we chose to heat it. It was a great beginning & end to our days. Quiet, safe neighborhood, easy access to beach. Very graciously thought out, having many little details attended to. Plenty of room to gather together, or break into smaller groups with separate common areas. Loved this house!

Great location and house but needs some attention

The house and location were great. A couple of items to mention: the floors were dirty. Not with visible dirt, but your feet turned black walking barefooted on the floors. The pool was not clean. It was full of pine needles and leaves when we arrived. The listings mentions the presence of a grill. We did not expect a charcoal camp site grill. It would be nice to list the fact that the grill is not a gas grill but a charcoal camp site grill. Other than those few issues, the house was great. The elevator was a huge help especially with 10 month old twins.

A HIDDEN GEM

I am almost afraid to give this review because, when I tell you how wonderful this house was, I may have trouble getting a reservation in the future. Everything was wonderful! And the host, Heather was so accomodating. She was so pleasant and responded to questions or needs so quickly. The house had everything you would want. It was fully stocked and beautifully maintained. From the kitchen, to the items for the tiny one, to the available beach supplies and fire pit, I can say we made good use of everything. The two living areas and decks allowed for everyone to have their own space when needed. Having the elevator was so helpful not only for getting luggage, etc. upstairs but for the older adults. We opted to get the pool heated which was awesome for the kids who were in it most of the time. And the beach was easy to access and close enough to walk to which made it nice for use to go back and forth. Thank you Heather! Our whole family had a wonderful time.
