Beautiful Condo at the Top of the Smokies!

Welcome past, present and future guest! We are so excited to let you know we have finished the rehab on our condo. We truly want you to feel like this is your home away from home.

Enjoy the peace and serenity in the beautiful gated resort of English Mountain. English Mountain is truly a hidden gem in the Great Smokey Mountains. As you leave all the noise and traffic behind you will be in awe of the beautiful scenery on your way to English Mountain. The crisp mountain air, the sunrises and sunsets will truly take your breath away. From the wrap around deck you will be able to enjoy all 4 seasons of the Smokies. If you are wanting relaxation, peace and beauty, you have found the perfect place. Our condo will sleep up to 4 people. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a full size kitchen, dishwasher, cookware, etc. There is internet service, smart TV and satellite TV in the living room and bedroom. There is a beautiful fireplace, just perfect after returning from the days activities. There is a washer and dryer in the condo so you don't have to worry about going to the laundry room at the clubhouse. There are NO stairs to climb, you just walk straight in from the parking lot which is right in front of the condo. The English Mountain Resort also has a pool and sauna, several outdoor grills and picnic areas.

There are so many fun things to do and see close to English Mountain. The amazing Forbidden Caverns is located underneath English Mountain and this is truly a site to see. At the English Mountain Trout Farm and Restaurant which is located on Blowing Cave Road, you can catch your own trout and the restaurant will prepare it for you with delicious sides. The Bush Bean Restaurant and Museum is a must, the food is amazing. The fun and excitement is endless, just to name a few, The Hatfield & McCoy Dinner show, The Comedy Barn, Dolly Parton's Stampede, Pirates Voyage Dinner Show, The Titanic Museum, The Wax Museum, white water rafting and many hiking trails. The list goes on and on, there is something for everyone to enjoy and make those wonderful memories together.

The Check-In process was easy and straight forward. The kitchen had everything to cook and bake. The bedroom was clean and comfortable to sleep in. Overall a good experience.

My family had an amazing time. We loved driving through the mountains every day. As other reviews have stated it is very windy with short turns. and definitely not for people with motion sickness. Our GPS took us up the right way.it was always better to get home before the sunset because when it was dark you notice the line start to fade up at the top so it made visibility a little difficult. Upon arrival, we had a few minor issues, but was quickly solved by the property manager, who was very friendly. Everything was very clean, except the floors which we ended up, wiping down with paper towels because my children that love to sit on the floor. We assume maybe many people just wear shoes, but we do not wear shoes in the house. The view from the balcony was beautiful. You got to see a lot of trees. The area was very quiet. The balcony does wrap around to the other side, which was really nice. We did however hear the footsteps of the neighbors upstairs. WThe kitchen was equipped with everything we neededThe laundry was very convenient and we used it a bit. The only thing with that is the room gets very humid when the dryer is on so you have to open the door to air it out. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. It was very clean and everything was updated and felt like home. Having two TVs was nice. Wi-Fi was easy to get on. In regards to the grounds at this time, the pool was closed. There was a little simple playground. Parking was right by the door making loading easy!

The condo was VERY clean and attractively decorated. (We did not use the electric fireplace because there were no directions provided.) The setting was very quiet and well maintained.The driving directions were okay. We were not prepared for the approximate 8 mile drive up steep, narrow roads with continuous sharp turns and curves in total darkness… after 7:00pm. It was our first time to East Tennessee and we were so impressed with the SmokyMountains.
Drive to Kiwohi in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

I loved the condo and the communication from the owners. Was very disappointed that the pole was closed. That was the whole reason that we booked there is to have a pool.

Didn’t even stay once we got there

The listing should provide address for customers to know exactly how far this place is from ANYTHING- it is a minimum of 40 minutes from any restaurant. It is extremely far and NOT good for a family with young kids who wants to enjoy Pigeon Forge. The condo was extremely clean and exactly what pictures showed, but neighbors and people around the condo did not allow for an enjoyable stay. We ended up having to stay elsewhere because of my youngest’s medical conditions. I basically wasted money booking this place.

Off the beaten path

If you are looking for a place to stay that has all the comforts of home that is slightly off the beaten path, this is it! The condo was clean and provided everything needed for our two day stay. Our host was helpful and answered any questions we had right away. The only suggestion I have is to be sure you get the gate pass ahead of time if you are arriving after hours and if you need something from the store go before heading to the condo. Overall this was a great trip and a good choice of places to stay.

English Mountain

Very quiet and peaceful condo settled on top of the mountain with great views away from the crowds of tourists but not a long drive from any of the big attractions or beautiful sights you might want to explore,will definitely be coming back in the near future.

Great updated property at beautiful location

Loved the modern property! Fireplace made it very cozy. Especially loved the many windows, complimented by curtains so we could control the light for our little one’s nap time and cozy mornings! Very clear and easy instructions.

Last min vacation.

We came to the area to take a last minute vacation, visit pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We didn’t realize the actual location of the condo was on top of a mountain. Condo was great but getting to it not so much. My suggestion is buy groceries before you head up the mountain and just stay there and relax.
