Sea Swept Cottage is a quaint two bedroom, one bathroom home that is beautiful decorated and has everything you need for your amazing beach vacation. The house is ready for your stay with fresh linens, bath towels and fully equipped kitchen. The house is 1/2 mile to the public beach accesses and a short walk to the multiuse path over looking the beautiful sound great for watching the sunsets. This house is centrally located to the beaches, the sound, shopping, putt putt golfing and grocery stores. This house is a gem and in a great quite neighborhood.

The house was clean, well kept, modern, and very reasonably priced. The host was wonderful and ensured we had an enjoyable stay, and a safe trip home. We will be returning 2026.

Clean and convenient

The home is lovely. Communication was prompt. No issues. Has a great sitting area under the house and a fire pit in the back. House was clean and had the essential items to cook with. No complaints.

A wonderful vacation

Sea Swept was very cozy and super cute. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and the host was wonderful!

OBX- Summer Trip 2025

My sister, my youngest daughter and I went to OBX to see wild horses, lighthouses and more. The SeaSwept Cottage was a perfect size and location for us. You can tell the host takes pride in the house. It was very warm and inviting in all the details. The only two complaints if you want to call it that was it said it had a hair dryer but there was not one. We usually bring our own but didn’t this time. Also we only had one roll of toilet paper so we had to make sure that we picked some up on our store run.

Perfect for a small family

We had the best time! Super close to the beach and had everything we needed at the house. The host was very responsive to messages and was so nice. We will come back soon!

What a wonderful place to rekax abd recharge your soul! Cottage was adorable. Quote from my husband "this is a perfect little beach house". Location is a great jumping off point for exploring all the way from Corolla to Hatteras (which we absolutely did!) Thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

First time to OBX

We booked our stay only a few days before our arrival and weren't sure what to expect. We were totally satisfied with the location, the condition of the property and its amenities. Centrally located on the Outer Banks made it easy to get places and see the entire area. Our host was fantastic and checked in a few times to make sure we were enjoying our stay.

Wonderful property and neighborhood

Our family had a wonderful time staying for 4 days. The house was spacious and decorated beautifully, we had plenty of room for two parents and two children. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well supplied, everything was clean. The neighborhood was quiet, there was a grocery and beach access less than a 5-minute drive away. We couldn’t have asked for anything more for a wonderful beach vacation.

Cozy cottage

This home was very comfortable and the owner had many nice touches. We didn’t have to buy anything but our food. It was a short walk to the sound through a nice neighborhood. The FoodLion was close as was Belk department store. Glad we found this gem!

Beautiful Home

The house itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and felt like a true getaway. The living room was especially cozy—perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location couldn't have been better: right in the center of everything and very easy to find, which made getting around a breeze.That said, we did run into a pretty frustrating issue with the check-in process. Unlike most listings where access codes are sent ahead of time through the platform, this host sends the code via text. Unfortunately, we never received ours and ended up sitting outside in the heat with our 5-month-old baby after a long drive. We weren’t able to get in until about 8pm, which was definitely stressful and not the best start to our stay.Additionally, the picnic area looked nice at first glance, but it had quite a few flies, which made it hard to enjoy outdoor meals.Overall, the home was lovely and well-located, but the check-in process really needs improvement to match the quality of the stay.

Nice beach home

Logistically in the middle of OBX in a quiet neighborhood. There is a 24 hrs supermarket, plenty of restaurants nearby. And beach beach beach so close. It is a very clean cute beach house. Master bedroom has comfortable bed and our kids slept well in the second room. And yes, plenty of sunshine thru out both bedroom. My fam enjoyed our stay, highly recommended. Thank you Charlene
