Open floor plan apartment with 2 bedrooms, 1 den/office with desk. Located in a quiet and clean family-oriented neighborhood (Hermosa). Great place to stay to attend one of the many concerts and festivals in the Chicago area. Short drive or bike ride to nearest 606 entrance. Cermak grocery store 2 blocks down. Aldi, Burlington, Cook Brothers, and Dollar Tree also close by. Futon and Queen mattress also provided for additional guests.

Clean Condo!

Check in was easy and property owner was on standby to help. Kitchen was nice and spacious with room to make your own meals while traveling.

Clean and pleasant. Sofa VERY uncomfortable. Loud upstairs neighbors. Basement resident didn’t clean up after his dog and my husband stepped in feces while wearing prescription shoes. Bed against the wall made nighttime bathroom trips difficult. Mirror in rear bedroom would be nice.

Great place to stay

We needed a place to be walking distance to our daughter. This was 5 blocks away from her. There was a parking spot in the back and many bus routes convenient to the apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable. It is an older apartment but overall it was nice. We would stay here again.

Not the best

Getting in and out of the unit with the gate was a hassle. The listing doesn’t mention there’s people living above you with children who run back and forth on the floor all hours of the night dogs barking, dog poop in the backyard, which I stepped in the backyard is horrible. Definitely not maintained at all. The lock on the gate needs to be replaced.

Clean house in good neighborhood. Pay attention to parking instructions.

Clean house, secure parking, nice downstairs neighbor. Parking is a backyard secured by a gate. Pay attention to what direction to come in from as that makes parking way easier. Our group had three vehicles and were able to park just fine.

Nice big space

Stayed here to be close to where my son was staying. Spacious, comfortable ground-floor apartment with off-street parking, a plus. Upstairs neighbors were very loud (yelling, child crying and running) until midnight or 1 a.m. both nights. Five stars otherwise.

Over Grown Weeds

The backyard doesn’t have grass but overgrown weeds with piles of old construction material laying in the yard so I couldn’t let my dogs out alone. The inside looked nice & clean but the kitchen floor had multiple broken tiles.

Could not park on right as trash everywhere. Weeds were very tall and bush blocking steps. No pillow cases on bunk beds. Air conditioner in living room didnt work. No instruction material for Tv. No ice or ice cube trays in refrigerator. Booking listing stated 10 min drive to Wrigley Field..took 25.

Nice and quiet

When we arrived, the rental was a bit messy (dirty towels on the floor and beds ary). I immediately sent a message to the host, which was responded to very quickly. She apologized and had the cleaning crew come out (they must've overlooked the property). Not a super big deal to us, since we had plans for the evening. We came back to a clean rental! The communication was great! We used the back to park in, as recommended by the host. The alleyway was a bit narrow for a large SUV, but we managed to get in/out without a scratch. The washer/dryer were easily accessible. The kitchen was a huge plus for us, as we were traveling from Texas. We didn't want to spend all of our money on dining out, so being able to cook helped tremendously! There's an Aldi and Walmart within a 5-8 minute drive. Would definitely stay again.

Great but hope for some changes

Overall, this place was great but I think I wan one of the first to stay here and there is some room for improvement. Pros: We had a situation that required us to stay longer and they were very helpful and let us extend the stay to whenever we needed and that really helped us out. Great kitchen, nice appliances Nice sunroom Private parking Nice dining room Nice living room and TV Clean Great neighborhood Sunny Lots of places to sleep Very safe Front yard Cons There is literally a church service in the basement every Sunday morning and the sound clearly comes into the second floor and the bass is quite loud. No dishwasher. Missing kitchen essentials like salt. Curtains fell down on us because they aren’t screwed into the wall. The keys are provided in the front when you get there but then you have to drive around the block and it’s one way so it’s a little bit of work to check in. You share the parking with the upstairs neighbor and when they parked close to the gate while the neighbor behind also parked in the alley, it was difficult to get out of the parking spot. You have to type in a passcode every time you want to change the heat or air. Only two lamps in the apartment and they are desk lamps. Other lighting is office level bright. The windows only open in the sunroom, most windows do not open. In total, I’d stay here again without hesitation.

A good sized and reasonably well equipped apartment. Great place to stay if you just need a bed. Not so great for families as the apartment upstairs were noisy. Can't be helped though as it's the structure of the building. Bus route at end of the street. Subway a fair bit away, about 6 to 7 stops on the bus. Our host was extremely helpful and really responsive. Thank you.
