• 2 Bathrooms for convenience and privacy

Grand Panama

Tower One of Grand Panama is a great location if you want to get close to the beach and make some quick runs to Wal-Mart and/or some nearby restaurants.The pool at Tower One is nice but it's super busy during peak season. I can't comment on the pool at Tower Two since we didn't spend time over there. The unit met our needs overall. The appliances are updated but we thought we would have more room in the bedrooms, based on the pictures (we had a toddler blow up mattress in the room with the queen sized bed and it was a little tight). The pictures overall gave this unit a fresher view that what we experienced. The plumbing in the master bath, the kitchen sink and the second bathroom sink was a little questionable but I think they are easy fixes.

Grand Panama 1407

The place wasn’t very clean, there were dirty socks and gold fish in the hidabed. There were peanut shells out on the deck. We ended up taking the bedding off the king size bed to wash it and the mattress looked like it had been peed on, and we found a bra underneath the bed.The beds were uncomfortable as well as the couch. The furniture needs updating. The vacuum didn’t work and the kitchen sink drained very slowly.We had great televisions, the ice maker was great. It was a wonderful view. We loved the pool area. We will be staying at Grand Panama again, just not in that location.

Lots a maintenance issues

Door entering into unit off bottom hinge, uncovered outlets, glass door off of rail and propped against wall in linen closet in master bathroom. Made owner aware of front door issue. Said he would have maintenance come. Never saw anyone. Made him aware of other things mentioned and never heard back from him. This unit needs LOTS of TLC and maintenance. This post does NOT reflect the resort. Been taking family vacations in Panama for years and this is the first ever negative review.

Our stay

This property was as described. It was conveniently located and well maintained. We were unable to find the bedding for the sleeper sofa but we made do with towels and blankets that we brought with us. I would rent again in the future.

Not what we hoped for

Upon arrival we found the balcony inaccessible due to maintenance and the balcony furniture piled up in the living area which made things rather confining. We were not advised of this beforehand. The balcony remained inaccessible for the first 7 days of our 14 day stay. One of the draws of a 14th floor unit are the ocean views from the balcony. Having this blocked really compromised our vacation. The handle on the drier was broken, making it very difficult to open. We had to use a spoon. The handle was not replaced until 7 days into our stay. The unit had insufficient cutlery and dishes. (We had to buy a spatula). There was only 1coat hanger in the unit. We had to buy our own. 2 electrical outlets lacked covers. The furnishings could use an upgrade, especially the balcony furniture. Two stars because the unit was clean and Grand Panama is a great resort. We have vacationed there many times and have always found the common areas clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly. Never had a bad experience there until now. Would not recommend this unit

Beautiful & convenient

We will stay again! Minor suggestions: The other units my friends stayed in had beach towels, samples of detergent, board games, beach toys for kids, a couple trash bags to get started with. That would have been nice to have, otherwise it was great!

Answered all questions quickly and was very helpful. The place was great and a beautiful view from the room. Perfect size and a bigger kitchen! Perfect for this weekend getaway and would definitely recommend.
