Cozy into this nostalgic bungalow just steps from Bristol’s historic downtown & only minutes away from Bristol Motor Speedway. The entire renovated house is exclusively yours without interruption for the duration of your stay. Rock on the front porch in a picturesque neighborhood. Get down to work with hi-speed Wi-Fi & private office. Enjoy the bright, open living room, spacious dining room & fully appointed kitchen. Finally, snuggle in to rest in two airy bedrooms with roomy, comfy beds.

You'll love grilling or relaxing on the huge deck or in the large back yard. And make sure to leave your mark on our guest signature wall.
To our pet-parents, dogs are welcome. We can even furnish a large 42” X 28” X 30” crate for pets who may get a little stressed while you’re out. Fur babies also get the posh treatment with stainless steel food / water bowls and a yummy treat.

The heath, safety, and wellbeing of our guests is our top priority so we use a thorough and extensive process of cleaning after each check-out.

Whole house and yard, minus the basement. There is also a public full basketball court across the street (we provide a basketball) and a public tennis court a block down.

Our goal is to provide you a home away from home that is unique and welcoming. If anything does not meet your expectations, you can message or call us any time and we're only 10 minutes away.

You can feel safe in this charming, family-friendly neighborhood that features a playground, basketball, and tennis courts nearby.

Parking is free: one car driveway and street-side parking available. Also, community bus routes are available along with Uber/Lyft options.

Dogs are allowed with fee of $75 per. Host must approve in advance of booking.

Stayed here for the first time on our annual Thanksgiving weekend visit to Bristol. The house was conveniently located close to State Street in a quiet neighborhood. The features as well as character made it a cozy place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful welcoming and spacious home that was even better than the pictures depicted. The beds and seating were comfortable and the entire space was tastefully decorated. We appreciated the laundry room.. it was clean and spacious. The host had water/ food bowls and even a treat for our dog! All of the rooms were well thought out in presentation and with everything we needed to enjoy our stay and more. Wish we were able to fully enjoy the space with a longer stay.

John’s place is conveniently located in Bristol. You can be downtown within a couple minutes or to the casino within 10 minutes. The house is well equipped and was easy to locate and access!

We had a wonderful time at Apple Hill Bungalow. The home was warm and inviting--and it had everything we needed. Enjoyed exploring the neighborhood on our nightly walks with the pups. Lovely stay in Bristol

We really enjoyed our stay at John’s place with our two pups. It was a great location to visit the Bristol Caverns, Steel Creek Park, and the downtown area. We also made a quick visit to Abingdon to see a friend’s play at the Barter Theatre. John is a thoughtful and communicative host.

Perfect little bungalow just minutes from Bristol

Great little place! Tucked away off the side streets and easy to get to. Minutes from downtown Bristol, Tennessee/Bristol, Virginia. Comfy beds, good vibes and gotta check out Southern Comfort BBQ for some good eats! Love this place!

Road trip to visit friends

The house was exactly as advertised and was perfect for my in laws, wife , my self and our dog . Father in law wanted to visit some old friends from when he lived there and this home worked perfectly for us to bring him and mom down from Michigan to do so ! John was excellent host and very accommodating for our early arrival.

We ended up booking this house at the very last minute because of the flood in my area. The host made it so simple and easy! The house was wonderful and in a great neighborhood. We truly enjoyed the time we spent there!!

Perfect Cottage

Short 3 day getaway…house was spotless, decorated so cute/tastefully…kitchen well stocked…home and local info at your fingertips…close to good restaurants, tourist sites, casino…host very responsive…we go to Bristol 1-2 times a year and this will be our first choice!

Cozy Cottage

We loved our stay in Bristol. It was a very relaxing stay for us. The house was extremely clean and as described on VRBO. The house provided everything we needed; unlike many other VRBO's we have stayed at in the past. The owner's even left us a thank you note. What a nice touch! The only con was the picture of the outside of the house showed a flat surface going to the house. This is one of the reasons I chose this house. My husband is in a wheelchair. There were several steps we had to maneuver that made it a little difficult.

Absolutely amazing!!

The house is so cute! I loved the skeleton keys placed around the house - i have always been obsessed with them. You guys thought of everything! We were so excited when we walked in and saw just how cute and cozy the house was and the water bowls and treats for the dogs. We come to Bristol for the race and just to visit and this house will be our go to moving forward. Thank you for being so accomodating by allowing the pups and allowing us to extend our stay a day. The board in the kitchen with restaurant information for the area was a great touch! We will be back to visit again - hopefully sooner than later.

Exceeded Expectations

This home definitely exceeded our expectations. We were very impressed with how close everything was and how simple it was to get around the city. The home was spectacular. The owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We were very impressed and will definitely try to stay here again!!

My wife and I are lifelong residents of the area and love the outdoor activities that are available here. We spend a lot of time at South Holston Lake (less than 15 mins from downtown Bristol), hicking the mountain ranges, riding bikes on the Appalachian Trail, fishing the North Holston River, and the occasional 4X4 trip through the Holston Mountain trails. We also love the growth in downtown Bristol! Good food, great beer, and lots of great music!!
