Just a short walk from the beach, this fun townhouse has enough decor inspired by the ocean to satisfy the most passionate beachcomber. Central air conditioning means you can relax and count your seashells in comfort! The private washer/dryer can handle all the towels and swimsuits. The full kitchen, also decorated in a fun ocean theme, features full-size appliances with a quaint breakfast bar. Enjoy meals inside or out on the furnished patio. Guests can also enjoy private beach access, 11 shared pools (five of which are heated during the winter season), free putt-putt golf, and a shared tennis court during their stay! Other perks include free high-speed WiFi and cable should you need to plug in or tune in to your favorite channel before heading to bed - the next day awaiting with promises of adventure.

One week vacation.

Really liked the condo but it does need a good cleaning especially the carpet . Really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of towels but had to go buy washclothes. Liked having washer and dryer. If cleaned would stay again.

Pretty alright

Nothing really special. Be prepared to bring/buy any extra kitchen supplies or toiletries. Sheets and extra covers NOT provided for the sleeper sofa. AC and thermostat were never consistent. We would wake up sweating one night and freezing the next.

The area was nice but the room was dirty. The first day we got there our feet were black from walking in the house. The sofa bed looked like it has never been cleaned, we had to change the sheets to sleep on it. The downstairs toilet didn't flush right. I'm not sure how old the property is but everything in the house was creaky and it felt like you were gonna fall through the stairs. And there was food from the previous guest in the cabinets which isn't very promising for the cleanliness off the property.

Great location & amenities, not recommended for a non-family group

Pros: This location was perfect for the Gulf Cost Ironman. It allowed me to walk to & from the transition area, start and finish lines while my husband competed. It also comes with 2 parking spaces, so that you're not scrambling for parking the days of and surrounding the race. The unit was clean, cool (A/C works well) and convenient. The neighborhood its in is very large with multiple walking access points, which makes it great for walking to the beach, dinner, or out for a drink. 90% of our neighbors during our stay were full-time residents, families, or owners, which gave the neighborhood a very homey & safe feel. The amenities are awesome - multiple pools and a putt putt course! Cons: the master bed is more like a full or very small queen, tough for 2 larger people to sleep in. The 2nd bedroom twins are TINY - I would only recommend them for children. The only full bathroom is upstairs and shared with the master bedroom. So if you aren't family, that's pretty close quarters for getting ready / little privacy. Other than that, great place to stay and it suited our needs. Thanks!

What you see is what you get.

I would like to preface this by saying we would definitely stay here again. I’m honestly writing this review so that people know what to expect., so this will be a long post. 1) Somebody mentioned that it was nasty. Reality is that this is a beach rental, so sticky floors are inevitable. It could definitely use a deep clean during the off-season. Perhaps the cleaning crew would do well to double check around beds. We did find a couple of throw-away items that were not thrown away. 2) Make sure to bring things you expect at your house, such as hand soap (we left a bottle in each bathroom and one in the kitchen. Maybe they won’t be taken away.), beach towels (there are plenty of bath towels and wash cloths), blankets (for cold-natured people, such as myself), a couple of extra trash bags, any special cooking utensils that you might not expect a rental place to have. They do have a blender and a coffee maker. There aren’t any cooking essentials, like salt and pepper, sugar, etc. 3) The stove and oven are gas, so watch how fast things cook. 4) There isn’t a grill, so unless you want steak over the stove or in the oven, do not bother. 5) The back porch faces someone else’s back porch. There isn’t a great view of anything. 6) The beach is within walking distance, but it’s probably easier to drive to the pier, park, and go there. (This is what we did.) 7) The AC upstairs works amazingly, but if you use the oven, expect the downstairs to heat up pretty fast. 8) The pool is right outside the front door. At the time of our stay, you could only enter at the gate in front of the little pool house. 9) There is also a pool behind the unit directly behind us. It’s smaller and also has a gate that leads outside the complex. 10) Firefly is located in the shopping complex adjacent to the outside gate by the pool. 10/10 recommend, but the prices are a bit steep. I recommend looking them up before going, and they are by reservation only. 11) Dogs are allowed, which we loved. You must clean up after them outside, but doggie bags are provided. 12) The outlet in the upstairs bathroom isn’t high voltage, so even a simple razor tripped it. This probably explains why the blow dryers were in the downstairs bathroom. 13) The toilets, washing machine, and dishwasher all make a weird noise when used. Probably an older unit which causes this. The toilet downstairs takes a minute to refill the tank, so it won’t flush back to back. Hope this helps!

Spring Break

My bestfriend and I brought our grandkids, 2 6 and 1 9 yr old. We had a blast. Checkin was smooth. Everyone was sweet and welcoming in this complex. Will definitely be back.

This unit was dirty, built up dirt we had to scrub off. Blankets and bed coverings were just shoved on the closet shelf, I had to wash all since they had obviously been used. We only had four towels and no sheets for the cot or sleeper sofa. We had to call to get more and we quickly received them. The vacuum did not work, we called to get a new one and are still waiting. I realize this is a rental unit, but it has not been throughly cleaned on each rental leaves. It is an old unit and needs updating but if it was keep clean it could be a good stay.

Awful experience, will never stay here again!

Arrived after a 5 hour drive to an absolutely nasty condo, nothing like we expected. Feet stuck to the floor as we walked, trash left under couch cushions, downstairs bathroom smelled like a truck stop and urine, utensils in the drawer were dirty with food caked on them, no trash bag in the trash can, upstairs bathroom had a broken door handle, someone’s nasty underwear left in the bathroom drawer, plug in bathroom upstairs didn’t work, comforters/sheets not clean and stained, boogers and blood smeared all over the walls in the upstairs guest room, bugs all over and on the baseboards. When I called the management company I was told someone would call to come clean the next day which never happened. I also received a call at 12:15 a.m. saying if left that night we could get a full refund, very unprofessional to leave a message at midnight to resolve an issue reported 2-3 hours earlier. Do not stay here!!! The previous 5 star review was obviously put there by the management company or someone paid to write it because it was completely false!

Good location, bad property management

House is decorated super cute and does look like the pictures. It’s in a great location. It smells like cat urine and left over smoke. We got into the house and the cleaning company still had dirty linens from previous guests on the floor. Reached out via email to the property manager and never got a response. There was a piece of broken glass on the floor we almost stepped on and some surfaces did not look cleaned at all. There are no instructions as to what to do before you leave and you are going to get charged for pets whether or not the owner says it’s included in the stay in the VBRO listing.

Excellent stay

We absolutely loved it. So happy we could bring our fur babies with us. My family all enjoyed it and are already working on planning our next stay. Definitely a 10 out of 10!
