We had a wonderful time at Chateau Syrah! The property is beautiful and we had no complaints. From pool time, to game room to relaxing outside - everything was great for our large group. Thank you to our hosts for having us.

We enjoyed our time at this home so much! Just as pictured, so many fun things to do for kids and adults alike! We appreciated the excellent communication, ample parking, lots of extra towels and pillows, cleanliness, and beautiful landscaping. The beds were comfortable and the a/c was awesome at it was 90’! Also, eight minutes away for several wonderful wineries with eating options. We can’t wait to stay again.!

The property manager met me in the living room area and addressed the issue of a pending lawsuit with the neighbor who had several no trespassing signs, junk piles and a pink porta-john there. I should have had her shown me the rest of the house. I later discovered the back patio lights and fans did not work, the hot tub stunk and the pool that supposedly was cleaned before we arrived and the Friday pool cleaning would not occur. I tried cleaning all the leaves out of the pool but had to give up due to the excessive amount. Clean towels were left in each closet for each guest; however there were bugs in the towels. While the bedding appeared to be clean, my grandchildren who slept in the upstairs bedrooms had multiple bug bites and we saw multiple bugs crawling on the walls which we killed. In our first night we had some sort of rodent that ate parts of a banana. I reported the issue and they said they could set traps but my grandchildren were already scared to even sleep there due to the bugs, let alone the night intruding rodents. The second night a bag of flour was chewed into and knocked off the shelf in the pantry. The outdoor cushions were covered with mold/mildew; the refrigerator had unworkable drawers and one upstairs sink was not working- no water when you turned faucet on. The listing totally misrepresented the property in a major way. Most of the responses seemed to be AI responses and we ended up leaving the property days early. I am still waiting to hear back.

50th Anniversary Family Celebration

Our family truly enjoyed the facility, the overall outdoor experience was loved by all. It was a very comfortable home to stay at.

Beautiful property in the heart of Temecula wine country

If you are looking for a spacious place for your group or family you've found it! Not to mention how beautiful this property is - with plenty seating for dining, lounging, or playing! Spectacular views over the valley especially in the morning with the hot air balloons!

Great Location for Large Family

Chateau Syrah was great for an extended family get together that included young kids. The fenced backyard with pool and hot tub kept everyone entertained! Rooms are large and can accommodate various family sizes. Indoor and outdoor dining spaces are also very large and nice.

The house was generally comfortable and well-appointed. Unfortunately, we were informed the hot tub was not functional on the day of our check-in, and it was not able to be repaired until the final day of our stay. The communication about the issue and the timing of the repair could have been better. This was important to us, as we selected this house partially for that reason (having a hot tub). The house itself was nice and we would stay there again. We've had an overall good experience in AvantStay properties.

Amazing Property

We came here to celebrate our mom’s 60th birthday and everything was amazing. We are a big family and there was room for everyone to sleep comfortably. There was something to do for everyone. We loved the backyard, the playroom and the kitchen. This house had everything you can think of and very clean. We will definitely love to come back here one day.

Our trip included our family elder aunts, their daughters and granddaughters

The property worked great for our family. We enjoyed the fuzzball, ping pong, corn hole, pool and Jacuzzi. The weather was warm so we enjoyed eating outside on the picnic table, the fire pit and all the various conversation areas. The prop manager was very responsive to any questions we had and the few maintaince questions were resolved quickly. Thanks so much for making our get together such a success.

Wine country fun

This property was exactly as pictured! Picturesque setting with all the amenities! The game room in the garage was a favorite for my group. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. One of the umbrellas broke and the property management company had a new one there in under an hour. It was my 40th birthday and I walked into balloons and a lovely welcome gift. Very thoughtful! I highly recommend this property.
