Charming small house in a large garden, close to the Beach

The house was fully renovated in 2024 and is set within a large garden surrounded by pine trees, just 500 meters from the beach. This is our third guesthouse project (ABRITEL references 1906869 and 1658648). It holds a three-star rating in the tourism classification.
Looking for relaxation? The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and the 900 m² garden offers plenty of spots to settle into a chair for a peaceful nap. Feeling sporty? Bicycles are available for rent at the port (we’ll provide rental addresses). In Port-Bail, you'll find a land sailing base, a sailing school, miles of beaches and coastal trails for walking and cycling, an equestrian center, and even a golf course in the neighboring town of Barneville-Carteret. A pedestrian path and cycle track will take you to the town center along the harbour, so you can leave the car behind. There, you'll find all the necessary shops as well as a great selection of restaurants, bars, and services.
The house is a single-story home (just a small step to enter) and features a bright living area with a cozy lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining space, and a bedroom (140x190 cm bed) that connects to a private shower room and toilet. A Japanese-style staircase visible from the living room leads to a small storage space, which is closed to guests.
Beyond its own attractions, Port-Bail is an ideal base for exploring the Manche region, including the Cotentin and Bessin marshlands, Mont Saint Michel Bay, Granville, Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue and Tatihou Island, Carteret, Utah Beach, and Sainte-Mère-Église. You can also reach the Channel Islands (especially Jersey) via regular ferry services departing from Carteret (about 7 km away) throughout the tourist season—check with the Port-Bail-sur-Mer tourist office for details and travel requirements.
Rental Fees and Charges:
The rental price covers all costs except for the mandatory end-of-stay cleaning fee (€50, payable upon arrival). Beds are made upon arrival, and we provide bath towels, kitchen towels, and utilities.
