Garden Cottage

Relax in this beautiful garden cottage located in a quiet, beautiful setting among abundant fruit trees and plants.

Welcome to the Gulfport Arts District located within walking distance to downtown Gulfport. The beach, shops, restaurants and nightlife minutes from your door. Nestled among fruit trees and plants, it's the perfect getaway for those looking to kick back and enjoy the Gulfport vibe.

Built in 1935, the house was renovated into a duplex; two private units in 2017-18. Unit E where you will be staying is a one bedroom cottage featuring five rooms with an old Florida feel and modern day conveniences. The house features a fully equipped kitchen, modern appliances, living room with 55 inch television/roku remote, comfortable queen bed, full sized bath with tub and shower, sitting room/office and indoor laundry room. Your comfort is assured with central air conditioning and heat at your control.

Unit W - on the other side of the house is a studio apartment with its own separate entrance, patio, parking and laundry facility.

Nice place to stay in nice neighborhood

House and garden are beautiful. Location is perfect. It's quiet and close to everything.

Home away from home

The neighborhood was very cute. The house was nicely furnished and decorated. Mark and Lesley provided extra comfort in towels, shampoo, kitchen needs and bedding. We throughly enjoy the garden/patio area filled with interesting perennials, trees and succulents. Close to downtown Gulfport arts district.

Paradise Found...

Words cannot effectively describe this amazing property. From the moment you drive up you know you're staying someplace special. That is only more confirmed when you enter the front door and see the immaculately kept spaces decorated in full "Gulfport" style. The large, leather sectional was my favorite indoor amenity with its dual recliners. But in my opinion, the outdoor spaces really separate this property from anyplace else we've stayed. If you love plants, then this place is for you! Many different growing areas all containing healthy, robust, and happy plants 😀 And with a few different sitting areas to include a nice dining table near the fully-prepared gas grill, you will certainly enjoy it all as much as we did! Don't forget... Gulfport and all it has to offer is a mere 10-minute walk away. Most importantly, the hosts were incredible in all ways possible and ensured our stay was truly special. Whenever we walked in we would look at each other and just say "WOW!" An incredible, serene, calming, peaceful place that we needed, and that we'll always remember. Thank you again for allowing us to share this very special house and property! Tony and Alisa

Indeed downtown Gulfport with its restaurants and shops is a short walk from the house. We hope you took advantage of our local Upham Beach and downtown St. Pete 10-15 min drive. Thank you for being so helpful in keeping the garden watered and taking good care of the place. You are both welcomed back any time! Your outstanding guests and we knew our property was in the best hands possible!
