Great place, comfortable furniture, and beautiful property to include a fishing pond. We will definitely stay here again. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Exceptional stay and the Host was great to accommodate us when needed. Peaceful stay and loved the beautiful home and well kept property. Slept well in the bed and such an enjoyable stay. Would definitely look at reservations for future!

Beautiful Property, well kept, interior and furnishings were awesome. Main bedroom doesnt get much A/C, it was hot in there. Fishing pond was awesome. Will stay again, but bring our own box fans.

Perfect spot to relax & unwind

Our new favorite getaway-so close to home. The house & property were amazing! Home is cozy & kitchen has everything you’d need to cook/grill your meals & store any leftovers. Loved all of the amenities. Crystal was an amazing host, so kind.Lots of space for the family to spread out with the front porch, back deck, fire pit area, picnic table at the lake, 4 season room for family gaming, 3 season screen porch area was a favorite breakfast area. We can’t say enough great things about this cute and comfortable house. We will be back!

Clean, bright, beautiful home in nature! Great for birders!

An amazing place to stay! Will be my first pick when I return to the area. The home is so serene and peaceful, and not overly decorated like some VRBO’s! The result is a place where one’s mind can relax. A lovely place to read a book, or maybe go there to write one! I enjoy nature photography, especially birds, so I was up with the sunrise to walk around the property, which is nicely mowed. Here are a few of the birds seen around the property.

Amazing View and Beautiful

This place was amazing and felt peaceful and cozy!! Loved the pond and kids enjoyed it. Owner was amazing and wish we had more time to stay but definitely will be coming back. Thank you.

Second Time Here!

My husband and two teenage boys absolutely love this place! The location can’t be beat—it’s so close to both the Meramac and Huzzah rivers for floating and fishing! They spent a couple of hours touring the Onondaga cave and several more floating the Huzzah. The fishing pond on the property provided entertainment and enjoyment for the boys while my husband sipped coffee in the early a.m. Unfortunately I was unable to join them for this trip and am bummed to have missed the fun. I would have loved to sit by the fire at dark listening to the sounds around me and seeing the Milky Way in the sky. Next time, I’ll be sure to be there!

Completely seamless experience. 100% recommend. The house itself was adorable, spotless, and huge! The pictures did not do it justice! Everything we needed was provided. Our host, Crystal, was incredibly responsive, helpful, and just wonderful! I only have positive things to say. I hope we have another opportunity to visit! Thank you!

Fishing Trip

We love The Rockhouse. Its very beautiful and comfy. Has everythig we need for our stay. We love the Solo Stove and the pond in the back. Its worth the stay.

Girls Trip

My sister in law and 2 of my adults children rented this charming house for a recent girls trip to hike and go tubing in the area. This house and property are very beautiful and well maintained. The house is bigger than we realized, providing good space to spread out but gather as well. The house has very comfortable furniture and the house is very well stocked with great attention to detail to help make your stay more comfortable. The grounds are well maintained as well with a pond down a short path and a nice fire pit area. We had storms one of the nights we were there and the property manager was very responsive, and planned ahead by messaging to give us a way to get our vehicle and ourselves out of the storm in the event the weather got worse.We would rent this home again when in the area for sure. Things to note however: With heavy rain there was water that gathered on the enclosed porch that did leak so we were not able to enjoy this area of the home, however there is another enclosed sun room with a nice table to use. There were also 3 spot light/camera looking devices in the corners of the common areas which I am not sure what they are exactly. I did ask the hostess but did not get an answer to that question. Even with these things I would still rent this home again (I would want to know what the light/camera things are),but overall we were all very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this home and hostess.

Fishing Trip

We love staying at The Rock House. It has everything that we need. The kids love fishing in the pond out back. We love the privacy we have staying here. We will be back.
