Kris was the absolute BEST host I've ever had experience with! We had a little mishap our fist night, and she was beyond gracious and accommodating. In fact, she checked in with me several times throughout our stay to make sure all was well. As a single mom traveling alone with her 3 teens, this meant the world to me. The home is so cute and decorated nicely, and it's in a wonderful neighborhood. We felt extremely safe here. Now, for the important things: the beds are incredibly comfy, the shower pressure is great, and the bidet is a great touch. There's even a nice private backyard with a grill. I can't wait to come back, and we will definitely stay with Kris again!

My relatives stayed here for the Thanksgiving week, and it was perfect! Kris was extremely helpful and attentive. The house was quiet and had all the amenities you could want. The location is very central. Close to Nob Hill and also not far from the foothills trails. Would definitely recommend!

This is a great house with a super nice owner in an area of Albuquerque that is wonderful. We had a super nice stay and would rent this house again in a moment if we wanted to return to Albuquerque, give it a try!

What a lovely home! It was perfect for our visit to ABQ for UNM Family Weekend. Close to campus as well as the biopark and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The home itself is comfortable and clean, with a great back patio and lots of light. The kitchen is great, and we appreciated the tea and sparkling water. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a very clean, well stocked, and cozy home. The house was writhin a 15-20 minute drive of everything we wanted to do during our weekend in Alb. Upon arrival I was so happy to find a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of linens for our stay. Kris thought of every need and even provided extra fans for the bedrooms. The back patio was perfect to enjoy the crisp clear morning. The front entrance is well lit for returning after dark. I would stay here again and I would recommend this home to anyone looking for small home in a quiet neighborhood.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Kris was fantastic to work with and even offered to pick up groceries for us as we would be arriving late. The property was clean. The beds were comfortable. The home is very cozy and warm. We would definitely stay here again.

Quick weekend stay

I happened to be playing in a hockey tournament in Albuquerque and needed a place to stay. This home was perfect. It had all the amenities I wanted/needed for the downtime between games. I was able to fix some nice meals in the well-stocked kitchen and then relax in the comfortable living room. The house was clean and tidy; everything we needed was available. The location as very good as well. Easy access to shopping and the neighborhood was quiet and safe.

This was our second stay in Kristin’s house, and it was just as nice as the first. Clean and well-appointed, with nice touches like coffee and sparkling water waiting when you arrive. We frequently walked in the neighborhood, and this seems to be what people do as we crossed paths with several friendly neighbors. Easy and quick host communication, convenient and quiet location. Recommended.

Best Hostess!

We came to ABQ to visit my daughter. Kris was the best hostess ever. She was extremely flexible and accommodating. She allows you to enjoy your vacation without ridiculous rules. I highly recommend her place. It was one of the best short term rentals I’ve stayed in-clean, great location, well stocked, and wonderful hostess.

We'll be back!

From the start of the booking of this lovely home, Kristin was so easy to work with and helpful. When we finally arrived, we found the house clean and well-appointed. The beds were comfortable, the towels thick and plentiful, and the kitchen equipped with everything you need. This is an established neighborhood, with neighbors out walking their dogs on the quiet street, so feels safe and comfortable, and it's got easy access to ABQ amenities. We're very much looking forward to returning in a couple of months! It's a house that feels like a home away from home.

We have stayed at Kris’ property many times and always look forward to our visits! Quiet neighborhood, spotless home, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, unique artwork, close to groceries/restaurants. It’s our favorite place to stay in Albuquerque!

Great Stay in a Lovely Home

The adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed our brief vacation in ABQ and Kris’ clean and quiet home was a fantastic launching pad for the Petroglyph National Monument, Museum of Natural History & Science, The BioPark Zoo and Explora. The home was art-filled, super cozy and well-stocked with towels and kitchen pantry items. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The Nespresso, luggage racks, and list of local food suggestions (we ate well at The Shop, Farina & Sawmill Market) were greatly appreciated! It was so fun to see snow in ABQ on our last day, too. We’d like to visit again to ride the Sandia Peak Tram and go on more hikes…and when we do return, we hope Kris’ cute home will be available.

Another Great Stay in ABQ

My name is Kris. I am a New Mexico transplant and have lived in Albuquerque since 2005. The NM landscape and culture has grown on me and I am happily rooted here now! I work in the clinical laboratory field in one of the big hospitals in town. It has been a challenging year or so, to say the least. My children both went to high school and college here, but now live out of state.
I am currently living with my significant other not far from the house. I like the idea of having it enjoyed by friends, family and visitors when I am not there.
I was a military brat growing up, so I have had the opportunity to travel and live in some beautiful places. To be in one place for this long enabled me to finally commit to buying a home and putting down roots. I love my little house and am happy to share it with people who will hopefully love it, too! Albuquerque and New Mexico both have so much to offer visitors! Enjoy your stay!

My home is in a beautiful neighborhood filled with young families, retired professionals and friendly people. It is walking distance to Route 66 (Central Avenue) and many of the galleries, shops and restaurants that line that road. The ART busses (Albuquerque Rapid Transit) have stops close by and will whisk you quickly to Old Town and Uptown.
