Welcome to One East Lake Road, an 1840s era Manor situated in the heart of the Fingerlakes, in New York State. This property is located within the Village of Hammondsport and has views of Kueka Lake. Close to restaurants, recreational activities both on and off the water and award winning wineries, breweries, and museums in the region. The House can accommodate 10 people in air conditioned comfort, fast wifi available and features space for inside or outside dining. Relax in the pool of large Estate's private garden setting, rest inside the house or use the house as a central point to explore everything the Fingerlake's has to offer!

Hammondsport, NY is the perfect place from which to explore the beauty of the Finger Lakes and Marché and Gordon’s house is truly a celestial experience. Charming (like, really charming) and comfortable, it’s a place you’ll not want to leave but of course will—to fish off the docks 3 mins away, rent a pontoon boat from Kueka Boat Rentals 5 mins away, walk into town and have a beer at Maloney’s Pub or glass of local wine at the Crooked Cork, maybe see free live music on a Thursday, or take a drive up to Penn Yan and walk the Outlet Trail and get some ice cream at the Spotted Duck or Seneca Farms—and you’ll be happy to come “home” to Hammondsport Heaven. Maybe you’ll play cards or a board game at the kitchen table (which feels like it’s built for just that), or sit on the patio and have a drink. Or you could cozy up in the front room and read or take a nap by the pool. Maybe you’ll have a catch with the kids in the vast yard or watch them scooter round and round the racetrack of a driveway. Home bound or Adventure bound, you won’t be sorry you picked Hammondsport, Keuka, or this house.

The highlight of our stay was the pool! Our week was a hot one so we spent most of our time cooling off. We all loved it. So clean! Gordon even came midweek to check on it. The kids loved scootering around the circular driveway. The house was so comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was there, and more! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Perfectly named “Heaven”

Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay in Hamondsport Heaven. We ranged in ages from 9 to 86 years-old! Everyone was comfortable and found their favorite place in the house. Marché was a lovely host who took the time to show us around on our first day and share some of the history of her beautiful home. The kids lived in the pool all weekend! We so enjoyed the quick access to the town and Lake. We would love to visit again!

Beautiful home in Hammondsport near wineries and Keuka lake

Our annual family trip this year led us to Hammondsport/Kueka Lake for 4th of July week. Marche was so welcoming and accommodating. She met us at check in and answered any questions and gave us a walk through of the property (which is huge and absolutely stunning!) She was always available for any questions and even gave us a bottle of wine from one of the local wineries (Weis).During our stay we checked out wineries ( Keuka lake vineyards and Bully hill. We dined at The Switzerland Inn and got pizza delivered from Wiseguys our first night. Local coffee shop we frequented was JT’s and Vern’s bakery had the most amazing pastries but you have to get there early! Kayaking at Chaplin beach was nice and relaxing and to end our week we watched the 4th of July parade from the front of the house ( went right down the street!) and the fireworks display was one of the best we’ve ever seen and we could see it perfectly from the back yard, either relaxing in the pool or by the fire pit. This is definitely the best place to be during 4th of July in Hammondsport and we would love to return!

Lovely!

What a lovely house, in such a convenient location. The house has everything you could possibly need, and the hosts were fantastic, offering assistance and an abundance of information about the area! The pool was clean and refresing and sitting out back was peaceful and seemed "remote" despite being close to town! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Heavenly Heaven!

Perfect getaway for a nine person family reunion. Walkable to the village, the beach. Backyard pool perfect for the children. House was large enough so that everyone could find their nook…dining room seated nine with room to spare. Marche has thought of everything. We would give our overall experience 10+++.

Wonderful house with great features

My wife and adult children joined me at this location. The house was huge and did not disappoint. There was plenty of room and the amenities were great. We used the pool, the grill, firepit, and all of the rooms. There were tons of nicities and the communication with the host was great. We got a tour upon arrival and it was probably needed. We could walk to town, to coffee, to the beach and even to the tennis courts. Great place to stay and we would do so again. In fact, this is one place where the pictures didn't do it justice.

Great stay

Property was incredibly clean and well stocked. Some Vrbo properties we have stayed in are very limited on what they supply, not this one. The pictures are a little deceptive. The kitchen is bigger and better than the pictures indicate and there is a lot of outdoor seating that’s not shown. We really enjoyed our stay. Marche was so easy to work with and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome.

A Beautiful Home in Hammondsport

Marche's home in Hammondsport is just beautiful. It was even more beautiful than the listing. Marche met us when we checked in to be sure that we understood all we needed in order to enjoy your stay there. The home is beautifully furnished and so very clean. There are multiple towels in each bath and the home is so relaxing. We loved the little town of Hammondsport and surrounding area. We also visited Corning Museum of Glass and made a glass project while shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this home to others.

Yearly get away

It was wonderful, the house is gorgeous and well kept, the host was amazing. She gave us a tour through the house when we got there and the history of the house. She also told us about the Village and the things to do in the area 😊. We liked it us much that we rented it for next year before we left! It was great!

Very good looking property that has the looks of an Italian villa! Fun place to stay!

A very well appointed property, ideal for extended families and friends as well. The hosts of this Property were very friendly and professional. They went out of their way to make sure we didn’t lack anything for our comfort. Great experience!

Beautiful historic home

Absolutely wonderful vacation in a charming historic home. Marche was a super host who went out of her way to make our stay memorable. She met us at the home and gave us a tour. Our 6 year old mentioned he liked dinosaur books. The next morning she left a stack of books on the front step. Our 6 year old was so excited to find dinosaurs in the collection. Hammondsport is a beautiful small town with amazing views. We ate at Park Inn and bought produce at West View Produce. Our kids want to come back to this beautiful home!

Wonderful stay in beautiful Hammondsport

We had such a great stay in Marche’s gorgeous home! We come to the Hammondsport area often to visit family and this is definitely my favorite house we’ve stayed in! It is so charming and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool and we loved that it was walking distance to downtown Hammondsport for access to restaurants and the lake. Marche was so helpful and easy to communicate with. She has impeccable taste and has furnished the house in such a cozy way - we felt right at home! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property

What a wonderful home. Marche's home is spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We had Canadian Thanksgiving here and had all the tools to make our dinner. The fire pits were both great and the lawn was perfect for bocce ball. Communication with Marche was excellent and she is very accommodating. The best thing about this home are the beds, oh my goodness were they comfortable! Thanks Marche for allowing us to stay at your home. It's gorgeous and we all had a great time!

Just loved it

Treat yourself and stay at this house. Host thinks of everything. House is beautifully decorated. Bedrooms are a dream. Kayaking on the lake, enjoy the pool, have some wine.

Wonderful stay in a stunning home

This house is absolutely stunning! Well taken care of and loved by its wonderful, kind owners. The house is in a great location and set back from the main road so it is very quiet and private. We had a wonderful stay and it was great meeting the lovely host. We hope to be back one day!

Very clean, great location, owners thought of just about everything!

We traveled with our best friends and all of our children for our annual summer vacation. The house was very spacious, comfortable, inviting, and we had plenty of room to all spread out, especially with 4 teenagers (12 - 17). The pool was a fantastic - we spent most afternoons/evenings there. Wood for the fire pit was included. The hosts supply a surplus of very soft and oversized towels -- for the bathroom and pool, which was great. Ironically on our drive out, I happened to notice a recent review of the home stating that it did not have air conditioning throughout; I just wanted to ADD to our review that EVERY ROOM including all the bedrooms had air conditioning and we were incredibly comfortable with several of our days visiting there being in the low 90s. Marche and Gordon have thought of just about everything one might need to have a great stay.

Wonderful stay in Hammondsport

Our group of 9 enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful visit to the Finger Lakes! The house and property are beautiful and have so much history. Location is great. The house is very well equipped - in addition to having plenty of all the necessities, it has everything you need to cook, enjoy the pool, build a fire, or relax. The host was very thoughtful and met us to give us a tour of the property. She was available to answer any questions we had during our stay and gave great tips about the local area. The AC issue has been addressed in recent reviews and was the only issue we encountered (it was a bit hot at times in mid July). But overall we had a great stay and would love to return! Thank you!

Enjoyed our stay but much room for improvement

We had a group of 7 adults stay. The hostess was wonderful with the introduction to the house and orientation to our weekend. We feel they have a real love of the property and care for it from when they purchased a year ago. We had fun using all the amenities like the pool for hot days, the kitchen for cooking our meals to save money instead of eating out, and the distance the House is to the local wineries and town were great features and made our stay here desirable. We appreciated the touch of character the house has and also learning about the history behind the property. We appreciated the firewood supplied by the host, free of charge as well. Improvements to our visit would have been: AC - when we booked, the listing said it could accommodate 10 people with air conditioned comfort. This is false. Only the upstairs has AC units, and there was no ac unit in the “kids” bedroom. It was not a comfortable sleeping arrangement for child or adult in mind during the hot summer days and nights we spent there. Many windows painted shut downstairs - All of the windows in the downstairs formal living room and dining room are painted shut. There is no circulation or airflow available in those two rooms. No screens are in place to keep bugs from entering the kitchen windows, and the painted shut windows have no option for screens even if they could be opened for cross breeze. As much as we appreciated the help from the owners when trying to make the space upstairs comfortable for all the adult guests the first day, we didn’t expect as many visits to check-in afterwards. A simple drop off of a cord and fan would have been sufficient. Before visiting your property each day, we recommend to call or text your guests before hand. We also recommend saying in your description that you often check-in on the property instead of telling your guests at orientation after booking. Guests really value their privacy and want to be comfortable without interruption. Our group did have a good time over all. We do wish there was more light provided in both the living room and four seasons room so we could see playing some group board games at night, but the temperature in the space was the biggest issue and could be more easily fixed if booking more guests.
