Bienvenido a casa de Bali, donde la selva se encuentra con la playa en el hermoso Manuel Antonio! Como la propiedad de alquiler de lujo único verdaderamente en Playa Espadilla (la playa principal de Manuel Antonio) la Casa Bali es un baño de 5 dormitorios 7 de Bali Villa enclavado en la selva tropical a sólo unos pasos del océano. Esta exótica villa tropical se encuentra en un bosque pluvial privado de 44 acres que bordea una de las playas más hermosas de Costa Rica. Nuestra ubicación es perfecta para los huéspedes que aman la playa y desean maximizar su tiempo en la playa. La reserva de selva tropical de 44 acres tiene varios caminos, arroyos, vida silvestre y un jardín orgánico. La mayoría de casas de alquiler en Manuel Antonio se encuentran encaramadas en las colinas y sus invitados deben conducir o caminar por las colinas empinadas para llegar a las zonas de acceso a la playa pública. En la Casa de Bali, se encuentra en la playa. Simplemente caminar por nuestro sendero del jardín y se encuentra en la sección privada de la playa en 1 minuto! Venga y disfrute de nuestro refugio exótico en el lugar más deseable que Manuel Antonio tiene para ofrecer, en la selva tropical, pero en la playa.

Nuestro conserje y personal en el lugar viven en las otras dos casas cercanas en la propiedad pero fuera de la vista.

Acerca de La Casa Bali: La Casa Bali fue diseñado por el arquitecto balinesa Ketut Arthana. Arthana es reconocido internacionalmente por su trabajo profundo en el diseño de residencias de lujo, resorts tropicales y balnearios en toda Asia, Hawaii, América del Norte y Europa, incluyendo el elegante hotel Puri Woolandari en Bali, una de las pequeñas Leading Hotels of the World. La villa fue diseñado y enmarcado en Bali del palo fierro Indonesia inicialmente. Fue desmontado y enviado a Costa Rica, junto con todos los muebles y acabados y fue reconstruido cuidadosamente por un equipo de artesanos balineses.

Villa Personal: La Casa Bali es atendida por un / conserje, servicio de limpieza, jardinero, servicio de piscina diaria, y el personal de mantenimiento encargado. We have rented homes/apartments in Europe and the Caribbean but we all agreed that the Bali House was the most outstanding. We took advantage and had breakfast prepared daily; we also had dinner served at the house several times.The hosts arranged our transportation to and from San Jose, as well as the outstanding tours.All in all, an amazing time for our yearly family reunion.

Oasis and time stood still

We loved the layout, an indoor and outdoor central space for everyone to hangout and open concept. Beautiful lighting, comfortable seating and something for everyone. Everyone had their own rooms and washrooms and spacious rooms to enjoy quiet and privacy.

Paradise Found

The Bali House was absolutely perfect for our first visit to Costa Rico. Maria gave special attention to all details arranging the best excursions for all ages. She also served as our chef for the week and every meal was delicious.The grands wanted her to come home with us! The view from the house was stunning and the short walk to the beach was truly a nature adventure. From monkeys to frogs, parrots to sloths…..all were fun to see. Costa Rico and the Bali House provided cherished memories for our family of 10.

I can’t say enough positive things about our stay at the Bali House. Maria was very responsive to all my questions and with helping with setting up excursions and our itinerary. Maria is also an amazing cook and provided our meals for most of the stay. Fernando was great with helping us check in and showing us around the property, even showing us a trail on the property that leads to a waterfall. The daily monkey visits was a highlight for the kids. The beach was great, and there was a good surf break right down the beach. our three kids enjoyed daily surf lessons 100 yards down the beach with an amazing outfit “Surfers on the Coast” ask for Ronny our kids had an amazing time and stayed till dark every day. They provided surf boards for the kids and lounge chairs and umbrellas for the adults. I can’t recommend this property and the staff enough! Pura Vida.

Couldn't be better

Bali House exceeded our very high expectations. It is a beautiful property with a concierge, Maria, who arranged to find us the best guides and tours. We had a once in a lifetime vacation between the pool, the beach, the monkeys and the service. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't go to on the Manuel Antonio tour, but just wanter around the property which has three kinds of moneys, frogs, lizards, and bats, and no crowds or entrance fees! It is a rainforest paradise, and Maria is also a superb cook.

Beautiful Property

The house is gorgeous! The pictures don’t do it justice. It is like having 5 beautiful master bedrooms with huge bathrooms in each room. The family room and pool are amazing. The walk to the beach is a beautiful tour through nature. We cannot speak highly enough about Maria and her team. We ended up having them cook most of our meals for breakfast and dinner. The food was outstanding! We leveraged the bartending services for an hour or 2 before each meal. The drinks were creative and very good. I highly recommend the Bali House! You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful !

Our family of 10 (grandparents, parents, and 4 children (10-16) had a fabulous time over Christmas week at The Bali House! The house was BEAUTIFUL, and the setting was amazing. The attentive staff & owner all went over and above what we have ever experienced in other VRBO’s that we have rented. And then there was our concierge, Maria - I don’t even know where to start! There aren’t enough adjectives to describe how wonderful she is to help you out in every way possible - arranged excursions, photographer, answered our questions, provided/arranged transportation, cooked for us 4 times during our stay which was a special treat and her food is delicious! I could go on and on about the extra services she provided! The remainder of the staff kept the house, grounds & pool area immaculate during our stay. The Bali House is 10 STARS! Thank you !!!!

Family vacation

We got the whole family together to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Ages ranged from 6 to 66, and everyone had an amazing time. Our two grandsons lived in the pool (when they weren’t at the beach). The home’s layout allowed for both privacy—loved the en-suite baths fir each bedroom—and comfortable group gatherings. Monkeys visited daily, delighting everyone with their poolside antics. Easy walk down to the beach. We enjoyed delicious chef-prepared meals twice, walked up to a nearby restaurant the first night, and ordered takeout twice. Our tireless concierge was enormously helpful—driving us to the supermarket and arranging an array of excursions. Can’t recommend Bali House highly enough!

Absolutely Beautiful!

This was our 2nd time at the Bali house and it was a absolutely amazing again. Our family & friends had the best time. We love the location of the house right on the beach…easy to walk the beach for all kinds of excursions from parasailing, surfing, jet skiing etc. BIG SHOUT OUT to Maria the house concierge she is absolutely awesome!!! She was so helpful and made everything easy for us. She booked all of our excursions, groceries, dinner reservations and arranged all of our airport shuttles and to top it off has the best personality. We also had Maria as our chef for 2 nights and 1 breakfast. Was the best decision and the yummiest of food:) Thank you Fernando and Maria for making us feel at home at the Bali house. Beautiful Home with a Stellar Staff!

The home and grounds are gorgeous and well manicured! The pool is beautiful. The house clean. A short path leads to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!Located in the center of Manuel Antonio. Just down the road is the National Park, and many wonderful restaurants. A short walk down the beach takes you to several nice beach bars and restaurants. The howler monkeys and macaws awaken you every morning. As many as 31 different birds were identified on our Merlin App. A family of delightfully curious and friendly Capuchin Monkeys (moms, and dads and children and babies) visit the house and pool 2-3 times a day and join you on the beach too! By the end of our stay we knew them all by name :) On the path to the beach there were 2 toed and 3 toed sloths in trees and even mothers with their babies everyday!We had the pleasure of meeting John the owner while there. He was very helpful in answering all our questions prior to booking. When we arrived Fernando who lives on the property met us to get us settled in. He checked in frequently to make sure everything was ok. Brian maintained the pool and grounds and was excellent. Cleaning staff was top notch. Maria, the concierge was amazing! She booked outings, transportation, restaurants and parties. Did the shopping and cooked dinner for us numerous times…yummy! Her meals are not to be missed! At our beck and call the entire time! She is the best! Thank you for making our trip the best ever!!!!!

Hospitality At It’s Finest

This is a beautiful house with wonderful people that take care of the property. The Bali House is the perfect place for people that want to be together, yet have your own space when desired. The villas are beautiful and spacious. The pool and outside area are mesmerizing. The monkeys that visit every day are a treat. Maria takes hospitality to a different level. I have been in the service industry my whole life and can honestly say that Maria is next level. She made our vacation seamless; from planning activities to arranging airport transportation to cooking wonderful meals with her amazing Sous chef. And that is just the start. She even picked up pizza a couple of times for our ten year old when she was on the way over to cook us dinner. Please realize how wonderful she is and tip her more than you have ever tipped anyone. The only thing I can reiterate from other reviews is the fact that the pictures of the place and property don’t do it justice. It may be one if the most unique and beautiful homes you will ever have the opportunity to stay at. The only reason I am apprehensive to leave this review is because this is a hidden gem and I don’t want it to be booked up the next time I want to visit. I did extensive research on multiple platforms and am fortunate that this is the place I decided to book. I knew it when I saw it, but was still amazed when we arrived. Thanks to Maria, her father Fernando, and Andrea and Brian.

Bali House FamilyThanksgiving

The Bali house is absolutely spectacular! Ideal for a family get a way that enjoy being in a jungle setting very near the beach. The staff was beyond great. The owner, John Masters & property manager, Fernando were very helpful. Our on site concierge and private chef, Maria Zuniga, was absolutely the best. She arranged lots of different things for us and she and her staff provided us with amazingly, delicious dinner meals.

Amazing place, so much prettier than the photos

We had a wonderful time at Bali House. It is beautiful and in an incredible setting. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, especially Maria. She cooked dinner twice (ask for her wonderful casadas) and picked up lots of groceries we requested. The monkeys they hire to entertain us were wonderful! Three times a day a group of around 6 Capuchin monkeys would come by the pool to eat coconuts and mango, clean each other, and just be a joy to watch. The paths on the property were fun to explore and the beach is wide (at low tide) and sandy, great for all ages to enjoy. We look forward to a return visit.

The BEST!

We loved every minute of our stay. An exceptional place. Maria cooked most of our meals. She is an amazing chef and enjoying her meals was a big part of what made our trip so wonderful. Our only complaint was that we had to leave at the end of our amazing week. Wildlife viewing from the deck is great. The walk to the beach is convenient - a huge plus. The main room is spacious with a lot of comfortable areas to choose from. The very long table for dining is perfect. The pool, the rooms, private/shared space combination - it’s all so incredibly perfect. Highly recommend.

Best Vacation Ever

The Bali House does not disappoint. This was my second stay here and it was just as amazing this year as it was 7 years ago. The views, the pool, the beach access, the grounds, and the hospitality is top notch. Maria and Fernando make the stay seamless. We really enjoyed zip lining, fishing, massages, and eating out in the area. We will definitely be back!

Amazing and unforgettable!

November 2021 Bali House - what a wonderful and beautiful home surrounded by natural beauty! Our family of 11 gathered at Bali House (our first time in Costa Rica) celebrating being together, a grandfather's birthday, and a 45th anniversary and were completely inspired by the uniqueness of this breathtaking location. Everything was there, a most comfortable and stunning home, the beach, wildlife, pool, and Manuel Antonio. We couldn't have imagined the wonderful concierge, Maria, who welcomed us with her wonderful personality, happy heart and keen ability to guide us throughout our stay. She took great care to get to know each of us and with her expertise, Maria was always available to answer questions, book side trips (zip lining, inshore fishing, a sunset trimaran trip, National Park, etc.) and prepare the most amazing cultural cuisine, along with the assistance from Kiadda. Maria expertly accommodated us in every way and left our family with such a wonderful feeling of the best experience possible. Fernando, Maria's father, was a joy in telling us about the property, managing day to day necessities and took us on a property hike which was a highlight. The grounds and Bali House were always kept immaculate. The first day we had a delicious family supper at Bali House. The second night we had a local supper out, but it could not compare so we planned supper at Bali House until we left. The Manuel Antonio National Park was very enjoyable, but we had all the wonders right there at Bali House, white faced monkeys, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, sloths, and toucans set on 44 acres of captivating jungle. We came home realizing that we were so fortunate to have found Bali House and what a memory for us - one we will never forget. Thank you and can't wait to return! HCR and family

AMAZING VACATION!

The property is even more magnificent in person. Everything was perfect and Maria was the best. We had 13 women `and there was more than enough room. The floor plan of the property was perfect for our group. I would more than recommend this property and the service is exceptional. the service included a housekeeper, landscaper, and concierge(Maria) . Of course we had 3 meals with the chef which for sure was a highlight. Thank you Maria for everything!!

Luxury in the jungle

Because of the siting of this luxurious house we had daily interactions with the wildlife who visited or were seen. A walk through the forest to the beach was a nature adventure! All the staff were friendly and most helpful. Be prepared for stairs.

Oh. My. Goodness. We had an absolutely perfect week at the Bali House. It couldn’t have been better! The home is immaculate and simply gorgeous. (Photos don’t do it justice.) The main room is beautiful, airy and spacious. the bedrooms and bathrooms are decadent, the pool and deck area is amazing, and the jungle walk to the beach is magical. Even better, Fernando, Maria and the entire staff treated us like royalty. They booked our activities and helped us with shuttles and covid tests. The meals we ate there were unbelievable! We ate all but a couple meals at the house...the food was beyond delicious, and it was so nice to just eat right there in our own little paradise. The staff made us feel at home, and we now think of them as family. They truly elevated our experience! Of course, we loved the daily monkey visits, chilling in the pool and the easy walk to the almost-private beach. Perfect location, perfect house, perfect week! Don’t think about it. Just book it! Pura vida!!!

amazing location and property

this is an amazing place to stay. the great room opens to the large gathering deck by the pool overlooking the large property which is in the rainforest. a short walk down the private sidewalk to the beach. all the bedrooms have airconditioing and nice bathrooms. the groups of mnkeys come every morning to say hello

Amazing Week in Costa Rica

This property was in the perfect location and a perfect spring break getaway for our family of 5. Everyone could enjoy the beach and the town as they pleased since the house was on the beach. We loved it and would return in a heartbeat.

The Bali house is operated by local Costa Ricans. Fernando is the property manager while John handles the bookings. The owner has placed the entire 45 acre Akira Reserve into a protected Private Preserve with no other buildings other than structures associated with Organic farming. There are several trails & stream in the preserve. All of the property except for our organic garden will be left for the animals, the vegetation and those people lucky enough and willing to come visit.

The owner chose Manuel Antonio because of it's natural beauty and for the National Park. The property is one of the largest privately owned parcels in Manuel Antonio and the only 45+ acre property directly on the most popular beach of all of Costa Rica. Of course, there are also many amenities and adventure tours available in this area of Costa Rica as well as numerous outstanding restaurants and stores from which to choose.

The owner fell in love with the Bali house so he's a bit biased, but in truth, most people find the density of the jungle and the proximity of the ocean waves to be utter magic. Whether eating mangos off the patio deck, walking up the driveway to Raphael's Terrazas for a spectacular tuna salad or simply strolling down the beach with a refreshing coconut drink, everyone will find there is always something to do that is pleasant, healthy and attractive.
