Beautifully appointed cottage in the heart of Oaklawn. Fully equipped kitchen and refrigerator with ice-maker. Dishwasher. Three bedrooms/3 full bathrooms with tub/shower/jacuzzi in each. Wonderful New Orleans style patio. Great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Ten minutes from Love field or 19 miles from DFW Airport. Easy DART transportation from DFW and to downtown and Arts District. UBER and LYFT know us and guests use them frequently. Free WIFI and ATT Uverse.

The house was perfect for us. Each of the 3 rooms had its own bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. Womderfuk outdoor space and the secured parking is nice as well! Very clean! There were plenty of good food spots and shops nearby. It is also super centealized to all the entertainment districts in Dallas.

Cute Cottage/Walkable Neighborhood

It was great finding a place with 3 bedrooms that each had an attached bathroom! Plus a lot of restaurants within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay here and the owners went above and beyond to ensure we had all the information we needed from where to shop, dine and must sees around the area! Southern hospitality at its best.

Dallas perfection

My brothers and I were very pleased with this property - it suited our needs to a “T”. The furnishings were top notch - like staying in a design showroom - reminded me of a top line cottage in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Highly recommended!

Our stay was set for Sunday, Jan. 18th - 22nd. We arrived at the home at 6:30pm. I called the host to get instructions on how to open the gate to park my car, he had no idea or forgot he was hosting us. He stated "who is this" I told him who we were and he said "Oh no, the cottage isnt ready." Let me call you right back, he called back and told me he had his cleaning lady coming. I told him I wanted a full refund because I didn't feel comfortable with that. I also asked him if there were more parking spots for our second car and he said yes, which is great news. The home had access to street parking. If the host responds to this review, he will state that I refused to stay due to inadequate parking, and that is simply not true. I refused to stay, because the home was not ready to host us. I have receipts of our conversation stating that he would give me a full refund and he has not. He has refunded a portion, but not in full. Again, I have proof that he agreed to give me a full refund. As far as a review of the home, I can not give a review because I never went inside. This review is based on the host and how he has handled his property not being ready to host and wanting to call out his cleaning lady at 6:30pm. We drove 6 hours and we were ready for a quiet night, not wanting to wait for a home to be cleaned. If you choose to stay at this property, call the host several hours before arrival to confirm your stay.

This is unfortunate and inaccurte. It is true the maid had not cleaned but there was one of the 3 bedrooms to be cleaned when the maid 3 blocks away was enroute...I offered another stay at no charge but I had a witness listening to attest when Elizabeth stated about the parking situation and did not want to wait for a short time and probaly less time to find another location or hotel. I could not afford to lose an entire week's revenue because of this. My reviews here and elsewhere are stellar. This is a first unfourtunate experience. My cancellation policy is not refundable but one charged her one night stay.
