You can walk to bars and restaurants and an Uber ride will never cost you that much because it's so central! The area is a popular place to live if you're young and looking to have a good time or go for a walk. Whole foods, C-store, bars, restaurants, salons, and shops all in walking distance.

Uber is quick, cheap, and easy. It's only a $10 cab ride from Love field airport so unless you are planning on spending time outside of Dallas you don't really need a car. Even though parking is pretty easy for a big city, Dallas is a great city to let the driver do the work so you can enjoy yourself and the occasional drink.
