This updated Catalina Foothills home will become "Your Tucson Escape". Situated on approximately one acre on a hillside location in the picturesque Catalina Foothills overlooking Tucson. Enjoy evenings overlooking the city lights from the front porch and the mornings on the back patio. During the day lounge poolside in complete privacy while gazing at the Catalina mountains. Indoors there is an updated kitchen ready for any meal and a wine/beverage under counter refrigerator. The floorplan is open concept with a large dining table seating 10, wood burning fireplace, and family room with couches and big screen TV. Connecting to the kitchen/DR/FR is a large rec room with pool table and media center with 4 reclining chairs and an extra large big screen TV. There are 4 bedrooms, one is the master with king bed and updated luxury ensuite bath. Another guest bedroom has a king bed. The other 2 bedrooms have comfortable queen beds and these three bedrooms share 2 additional updated baths. There is also a 2 car garage for guests, which includes a folding ping pong. The entire house is surrounded by natural desert landscaping which will soothe your soul and provides privacy from the other homes in the neighborhood. Take a walk through the quiet neighborhood streets or drive just a short distance to multiple trailheads including Sabino Canyon only 5 minutes away. There are multiple great restaurants and grocery stores only 5 minutes away or drive 10 minutes to the upscale La Encantada shopping mall with shopping, restaurants and the famously local AJ's Fine Foods with awesome wine and deli and bakery selections. Everything you need to unwind and relax is right nearby, with the ever present desert landscape always in view. There is ultra high speed internet for those that need the connection, and internet TV including Netflicks, Prime, and Peacock. This home will truly become a memorable escape while allowing you to connect with a group of your favorite family and friends.

This was a lovely stay. The house is very comfortable for several guests, beautiful landscaping in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Dark sky lighting allows you to stargaze. While we didn’t bring our dogs, allowing dogs is a huge bonus, especially for so nice of a home. Can’t wait till next time!

Beautiful views with a variety of fun amenities

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property! It was incredibly spacious for our family and offered a variety of fun amenities, including a pool table, movie theatre-style seating with a large TV, a swimming pool and hot tub. And the views were absolutely stunning!

It’s a great property with an outstanding pool and hot tub. Magnificent views of the mountains, the city and the sunsets. Very handy to most attractions and several golf courses. Would definitely stay here again if available.

Beautiful home with sweeping views of the city and surrounding mountains. Spacious and comfortable with many outdoor seating areas and lovely pool. Owners were very responsive to our questions. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Excellent Experience

The property was simply perfect for our family gathering. We stayed for five days to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from the University of Arizona. The house provided ample space, great amenities, and a perfect location to take in Tucson and all it has to offer. The hosts were responsive and welcoming and the trip could not have been better. Thank you for the great space…we’ll be back in a few years when our son graduates from UofA!

Revisiting Tucson

Our family was returning to Tucson after 15 years. We were thrilled that we chose this property. The location was perfect-with outstanding views of the Catalina mountains, the gorgeous sunsets and view of the Tucson lights, close to Sabino Canyon for hiking, and easy access to stores and restaurants. The house has many amenities that made it great for a wide age range of our family. The pool table, spa, pool, theater seats with Tv and even the puzzles provided much for our crew to do when we were not out seeing the sights. The owner communicated with me promptly each time I had a question I’d definitely stay here again!

Winter in Tucson!

This is a lovely property. The large open spaces were perfect for our group of seven. The view is spectacular both from the front patio as well as the back deck. We used the gas grill on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed the covered deck. To our delight, the kitchen was fully equipped for our group of discerning cooks. We had occasion to contact the owner a couple of times to which he responded promptly, graciously and effectively. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The Perfect Place for Family and Dogs

Our group was in town for U of A graduation and included age ranges from 22-90 plus 2 dogs. This home had everything to make everyone comfortable. It was clean, very well stocked (even had a collapsible pen for the dogs), had comfortable beds and plenty of space indoors and out. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the covered patio and around the pool - beautiful views. Didn't get to use the hot tub or pool, but both were clean. It's not easy finding nice homes that accommodate dogs, but this is a great one. It is managed by the owners who provided detailed information and were very easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Nice house

Great neighborhood layout of home is excellent. Weakness is the AC needs rebalancing the master bedroom is too warm and if the AC is turned up the bedroom across is too cold. Pool needs a child proof lock system my six year old Walked right up and opened the pool Gate also that gate doe not close automatically. The device to do that is only $79 on Amazon owners should buy and install.

Thank you for your feedback. The home has a new ductless mini-split installed last month by a top professional HVAC company (Hamstra) as the best solution for the great room. They also serviced and balanced the main AC system. It does require some attention to the mini-split and main AC to get the best results, basically turning down or off the mini-split at night to allow the main system to keep the bedrooms optimally cool. The mini-split does a great job of cooling off the great room/kitchen and it easily controlled. We will amend our instructions to reflect this. Regarding the pool gate we will absolutely look into a more secure child resistant latch system. When we bought the property we had the gate fixed and I believe if adults are careful it is a safe gate system for both small children as well as pets. But we want to strive to make it as safe as possible without making it obtrusive. We will find something that is easy to use by adults but resistant to small children. We have a small sign to keep the gate closed and will place a bigger sign on the gate reinforce the message. Thanks again for your suggestions.

Beautiful and comfortable home

This is a lovely high end home which has been tastefully renovated in a beautiful neighborhood. The hosts have put a lot of thought into what their guests will need which is above and beyond many VRBOs I've stayed in. For example, there is a collection of spices and pantry items in the kitchen and shampoo/conditioner in the showers. The space was perfect to accommodate our large and varied family group and allowed privacy between parties. The only minor issue I had was that I'm pretty sure the listing showed 3 king beds and 1 queen when I booked it but there are 2 king beds and 2 queen beds. Not a big deal at all. I highly recommend this property.

Gorgeous, Comfortable Property

Located in a quiet Catalina Foothills neighborhood, this property provides outstanding views from its large picture windows. We enjoyed the lights of Tucson while playing pool, and mountain views from the dining table. Not only is the property updated and beautiful, it's really homey and comfortable, from the outside sitting areas, to the inside furniture, to the bed. If you are a birder, you'll love this property! The neighbors have feeders, so we were able to watch many species of desert birds from the patio, where we spent the majority of our time. The property is dog friendly, but not fenced, so plan on keeping your dog restrained when outside (the aforementioned birds are quite a doggy distraction!). Although not listed as an amenity, there is a large new gas grill. Check-in and out is uncomplicated. Unlike many properties, the hosts do not have a long list of "thou shall nots", which is refreshing. At this price point, we appreciate being trusted to take care of things. The hosts were available when needed, but not intrusive. We would definitely rent this property again!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in Tucson for vacation and really enjoyed this lovely and well-appointed home. With the pool and patios, it was like having our own private resort! It was just the two of us this trip, and we loved having all the extra space, but we can see how the home would also be perfect for a larger group or family. The views are stunning, with the Catalina mountains on one side and city views on the other. We loved sitting outside in the evening and seeing all the city lights come on amidst the brilliant pink sunsets. The bedroom was very comfortable for sleeping, as it’s a quiet and serene setting, yet near all the shopping and restaurants you could ever need. The desert landscaping is very pretty all around the home, and we saw lots of quail, hummingbirds, and even a fox in the distance one evening. This home is a true gem.
