☆ 15 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park and close to restaurants and grocery stores but feels a world away.
☆ Perfect, secluded getaway for groups, families, friends and your furry loved ones.

We have exterior security cameras in three areas of the property: the driveway, the front door and over our storage area. These are only used to prevent unregistered guests from being on the property. We also have an Alexa in the kitchen that you can feel free to unplug if smart devices freak you out :)

We had a wonderful family vacation here over New Years. The kitchen was perfectly set up for all our cooking needs feeding our family of 10. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, roasting s’mores over the fire, the waffle station and the vinyl record collection. It seems the hosts thought of everything and then some. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The house is fantastic and located overlooking a good bit of open desert. It had everything we needed and more. We were family of 10 and spent most of our days in Joshua Tree National Park. It was less than 10 minutes to town with a nice market and restaurants. Everything was clean and in great condition, very well stocked and maintained. I would be happy to rent again if we go back to this area. And we may, our grandkids loved clambering on the rocks. It was an outstanding vacation!

The Most Magical Desert Stay!

Can't say enough wonderful things about this property. The cleanliness and amenities far surpassed our expectations! It was in pristine condition upon arrival with SO many cute, thoughtful, and helpful touches. It was the most perfect place to spend a weekend with close friends. The house was gorgeous - we loved hanging both inside and outside! Would absolutely stay again and would highly recommend this property and host.

Spectacular stay

I dont even know where to begin. This property was immaculate. My family and i had such a wonderful stay. The property was completely stocked; all you have to bring is food. The best part of our trip was the swimming and bbqing. Host Kathryn was on point qith communication. We would definitely come back again!!

Magical, spacious, and charming

Our group of 11 had a phenomenal time at this beautiful house! We were so appreciative of the extremely well stocked kitchen (we’re talking cake pans, French press, waffle iron, cocktail glasses) and the many cool spaces inside and outside the property. At any time, we could all be together in the living room/kitchen which was big enough for all of us to hang out, or we could find separate areas at the hammock, fire pit, or lounge chairs. I would book this again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Russ and Haley's Wedding

The property is absolutely beautiful. I would gladly stay there again, but this time I would focus on not leaving the property. Unfortunately, there were a number of wedding week events that we required us to travel into Joshua Tree and 29 Palms, which took away from our time to relax at the house. The dirt road was difficult to navigate, especially at night, but otherwise this was a great experience

Perfect for a group of friends get away

My friends and I were looking for a place fairly secluded from the rest of the world to enjoy time with each other and play in the desert. This home was perfect in every sense of the word! We were secluded from any neighbors, the house had all the amenities and games we were looking for, and the property manager was easy to check in with and provide anything we needed. I felt taken care of and cared for. I would come back to this house in a heart beat. Perfect for a large gathering of friends or family.

Desert Oasis!!

We were coming to the desert with 2 full families (9 people total) to explore Joshua Tree National Park. We wanted something that was away from noise and lights so we could have privacy and enjoy the stars at night. The home and property were perfect. The house is roomy and the kitchen is well stocked. We loved having the record player with all the old albums. The owners were wonderful! When we mentioned that the pool was dirty (there had been a massive windstorm the day we arrived) they had their pool cleaners out promptly. Overall just a wonderful experience, and we’d stay here again!

Amazing!

This place is just amazing! From the house itself to the outside views it was incredible! The house is very nice and clean. The rooms are so spacious with their own AC, perfect! The host was checking in through out our stay but nothing overwhelming. Just quick check in to let us know they are available if we need anything and that’s it. The best! They also provided us with a complimentary champagne bottle and s’more kit! Such a nice touch and perfect start to my Birthday getaway celebration. The views are amazing! And the pool and spa just completed the perfect getaway for my birthday. 10/10 is the place. I will definitely be back for another get away.!

Loved my stay at Desert Flower Retreat

The Desert Flower Retreat exceeded all my expectations! Celebrated my 30th birthday here and could not have asked for a better experience. Kathryn is a wonderful and communicative host and the property is stunning and secluded. House was well equipped with everything you could need. It is about a mile drive on a dirt road so would definitely recommend bringing your groceries so you don’t have to leave as much! Also very close to Joshua Tree National Park. Such a great place to celebrate, relax, and enjoy nature, wildlife and breathtaking sunsets. The only thing I would note is that the jacuzzi did bleach some clothing and jewelry so just be careful! Atleast it’s clean! Hope to come back soon.

Fantastic property manager, home and amenities! We had an unfortunate run with three other properties cancelling due to plumbing and calendar syncing issues, so had to pay more for this property than we had originally budgeted for the trip but couldn’t be more happy that we ended up here!The host, Kathryn, is fantastic to work with, the home is well maintained, and the views and serenity are amazing. The family had a blast between the pool, hot-tub, horse shoes, corn hole and exploring the desert property. We spent the days in Joshua Tree, and the evenings between the fire pit, playing board games and listening to records which was a nice added touch for something different. The kitchen is well stocked and the kids made waffles at the waffle bar each morning while the coffee bar was well stocked. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were well stocked and clean. Overall, we really lucked out by having the other three properties fall through and the family would come back here in a heartbeat! We only had a long weekend to enjoy this home but will book for longer in the future. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Amazing stay!

Really great stay at this beautiful property just north of Joshua Tree National Park. Home is exactly as advertised. Our group of five friends used many of the outdoor amenities... pool, hot tub, hammocks, fire pit, grill, and dining table. Kitchen is well stocked with whatever you might need. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean and spacious. Highly recommend this property, and would love to return in the future. If you are considering staying here, go ahead and book it now. You will not be disappointed.

Secluded oasis

This property is amazing. It’s not far from 29 palms, but it’s secluded enough to soak up the tranquility of the desert. The house was big enough for 8 adults to not feel cramped, and lots of space in the common areas. Pool is small and cold, but was really nice on the hot days. Kitchen has everything you need, and host responds quick. Amazing stay!

Perfect pick

We searched all over for a spot for 3 generations to be together so we could enjoy adventures, avoid crowds and traffic, have quiet nights at the fire pit, cook big meals and be in beautiful surroundings. Desert Flower fit the bill perfectly. The house is beautiful, very clean, very well decorated, and has the most comfortable beds! Kathryn was an excellent host who responded to our needs immediately.

This house was dreamy! Beautifully decorated, perfect views from the pool/hot tub, and little finishing touches like a s'mores kit and a bottle of bubbly. Our host Kathryn was so attentive to all our needs and questions. A definite must!

Magical Memories

Wow. Where to begin? We spent our New Year's Eve here and it made magical memories for each and every one of us. Yes, the photos make this space look amazing. But photos don't capture the endless desert sky. Or all the little surprises you'll discover on the grounds. Or the feel of warming yourself in the hot tub (and the fire). They thought of all the details, too. Want to warm up while you watch the sunset? Grab one of the many blankets from the closet. Have eight people headed into the hot tub? You'll never run out of towels. Need to cook for a dinner party? The kitchen has it all and the giant table comfortably your entire party. Need something on short notice? Kathryn responds to questions with lightning speed. The location is top notch. The space is beautiful The communication is second-to-none. What are you even waiting for? Book it now! Or maybe don't — you'll only make it harder for us to come back again.

Host is super responsive. Property is clean and well equipped - we did lots of cooking at the house and found plenty of suitable cookware. Location is ideal for heading to Joshua Tree National Park. Perfect for our multi-generational family plus doggie! Hope we can come again.

A magical break in the desert.

We took our first family vacation - in a long time - and had the most magical experience. The location is stunning. So much space & incredible views. And the house was wonderful. Gorgeous and oh so peaceful!!

This place is amazing!!! It looks as good, actually even better than the pics. So well stocked. Everything you need is there. A little remote, but absolutely worth the trip!! Hosts are super communicative and super helpful. We had a large group and everyone loved the place!!!
