Quiet Getaway

The house a farther away from the hubub of Galveston than we have stayed in the past, but it was worth it. The beach was so calm and quiet without all the crowds. The house was clean and comfortable and had a closet of boogie boards and beach toys for the kids. I would definitely stay again!

Excellent Location

We loved the laid back area of the beach. Pools were great and the beach access was right there. Only downfall is if you are going for nightlife or to be around things to do it’s 40 minutes away. This was a perfect location for us because we just wanted to enjoy each other and enjoy a laid back vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Galveston! The house was exceptionally clean, and the accommodations were fantastic with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The location was very convenient, just a short and easy walk to the beach, nestled in a beautiful and quiet community. The host was incredibly responsive, answering all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. Most importantly, we had such a great time just being together and making memories with our family. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Beach Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely beach cottage! It was the perfect size for our family, and great access to the beach daily. The beach area is more private and not as crowded as in town, which is a huge plus! The home was so cutely decorated, and we loved the beach decor and vibes. We go to Galveston a lot, and have stayed in a lot of beach homes and condos, and this one was one of the best in a very affordable price range. Book it! You won’t regret it.

Perfect vacation getaway

House met all of our needs: great beach access, super comfortable beds, and porches to relax on. The downstairs grill and tv area was especially nice for the start of college football. Would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Great family getaway

We had a wonderful time! All the beach club amenities are so convenient and the private beach access was really nice. We had a little trouble unlocking the door at checkin, but we called and they let us in remotely very quickly. The kids loved the fishing pier.

Beautiful Home, Beautiful Neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was so cute, great decor and so clean and comfortable. The beach in the area is so pretty, really picturesque. The neighborhood is beautiful as well, loved the colors of the houses. The beach club was an added bonus, nice to have access to a pool with an ocean view. Overall great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was comfy and clean. The location is quiet and safe. It was windy and cold most of our stay, so we lifer having access to the heated pool and hot tub on the shared property.

Beautiful as pictured

The house was just a beautiful as pictured and so very clean! The house was well stocked for whatever you may need for your stay. The beach access was close wich is great if you have small children and have to go back and forth. My family and I had a wonderful stay and plan on going back.

Excellent Beach House

We had a wonderful few days at this beautiful beach house. It was a short walk to the beach and they provided beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, a wagon, and so much more. The kitchen was very well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The owners were very quick with communication as well. We have stayed in many Pointe West beach houses and this was one of the best!

Great location and so comfortable!

We had a great week at this property - house is in a great location, very comfortable living room, and all the kitchen gadgets you could need. Not mention ample toys and beach gear to get you through the trip. Only note is that if you’re like us (aka toddler in tow) and need to do more than a load of laundry or need to take the trash out be sure to bring consumables (trash bags/tide pods) as those supplies are limited. We would definitely stay here again!

Great vacation house!

Wonderful hosts and a great location if you’re looking for a place that’s in walking distance to the beach (no cars allowed made so much difference! Quieter and cleaner). The house is decorated so nicely and the sheets are very soft! Hosts made sure the house was stocked with all the essentials and more (i.e. wagon, beach towels, sand toys, charcoal, grill, spices, laundry machine & soap, etc.). We are definitely hoping to be back!!

Great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to return soon! I was looking for close, walkable beach access to a beach with no vehicle traffic, and this house was perfect for that. Access to the Pointe West Beach Club (particularly the heated pool/lazy river & hot tub) was a nice bonus. The house was clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. We cooked all our meals at the house (hint: stop at the grocery store in town for supplies before heading to the house) and there were plenty of pots, pans & utensils. The closet filled with beach toys & accessories was super helpful. Host responded quickly and had excellent communication.

Wonderful stay!

This property and the owners were fabulous! The house was clean and decorated so cute. Something I always look at when booking a beach house is the living room furniture. Will there be enough seating for tv or games at night? Is it comfortable seating? The living room more than accommodated our group and was also comfy. I also liked that rooms were set away from the living room a little bit for sleeping kids. Most beach houses have curtains that allow the sunlight in very early. Loved that the property had curtains you could pull to keep the room dark. The location to the boardwalk was also perfect for carrying gear and little kid legs to make the walk. Carmen and Antonio were responsive and helpful. The best hosts! We will be back!

Wonderful time in a beautiful house

This was our 5th house to have rented in Galveston in the last 2 years and 4th in Point West neighborhood so we have a good basis for comparison. This house was perfect for a family getaway. It was very well-furnished and seemed almost brand new. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need for cooking. There was plenty of room for us and our two kids, and the kids' bedrooms was a little separated from the primary bedroom (separated by the living room), which we all appreciated. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and they actually had tons of pillows so no need to bring your own (rare for a rental house in our experience). The house is a very short walk to a beach crossover, and is furnished with a lot of gear for families (chairs, toys, beach towels, etc). The grill and outdoor furniture were all in great condition (almost as rare as excess pillows in Galveston!). The owners were very responsive and helpful. I never give 5 stars on all attributes in these reviews, but this house earned them. As for Point West neighborhood, we highly recommend staying there, once you do you'll never stay anywhere else on the island. The pools were large and not too crowded, even on Memorial Day weekend. They overlook the beach and ocean so it feels like a Caribbean hotel. The food and drinks at the poolside grill were fantastic and convenient for a quick lunch before heading back to the beach (or cocktails watching sunset on the 2nd story of the bar). The beaches in Point West are not at all crowded, they're cleaned daily, and the dunes and beach grass is beautiful, substantially more scenic than the rest of Galveston. The only negative is its at the far end from town, but still the drive is not too bad (30 mins to downtown if you want to do museums, but its pretty convenient to some good restaurants, 15 mins from mini golf and the Galveston Island Brewery, and 8-10 mins to Seven Seas Grocery). Overall, beautiful house in the best part of Galveston.
