Quick business retreat

My business partner and I needed a quick getaway to focus on a new venture. Last minute accommodation worked great. Owner was very responsive. Such a nice home and area, the beach there was very nice and not overcrowded. Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful home in great neighborhood

Our family (4 adults & 3 children) really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Pointe West cottage! Joanie was very helpful before arrival & also checked on us throughout our stay. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed including beach toys and canopy. The house was close to the beach which made it easy to go back and forth. We look forward to visiting again!

Great location in wonderful Pointe West

Took my family of 6 adults to Galveston during the "pandemic" to get away. House was great, location was FANTASTIC as is an easy walk to the beach! Beds are super comfortable, kitchen well stocked and great patio and downstairs outside space. They have an outside closet with TONS of beach supplies/toys (10x10 tent, beach chairs, beach toys...). Only negatives are wifi is a little sketchy although it works and needs more seating in the living room, has a couch and chair but love seat would be nice so 6 could sit comortably. Host very attentive and overall pleasant stay, I would stay here again.

Immaculate, beautiful property!

Property was VERY well-furnished. Lots of things you’d need, including 2 grills with charcoal and wood pellets, beach items (chairs, toys, etc.), and a lot of snacks. Property manager was very responsive and courteous. We had problems with the A/C, but she was very accommodating and helpful and offered to “make it right” on our next stay. I don’t think you could ask for more. Great property, convenient access. This was our best visit to Pointe West.

Great Stay!!

This was a family trip and it was amazing! The condo was exactly as described. It was extremely clean and welcoming. The furniture was very nice and the kitchen had many extras like a coffee maker, crock pot, toaster oven, everything we needed to cook our dinners...including a Treager smoker which was awesome!! The neighborhood was quiet, very close to the beach and the beach club/pool was perfect. I would stay here again anytime!!

Beachside Cottages

Would have been nice to have TVs in all bedrooms but that was minor. Lots of stairs but for most people that would not be a problem. All and all we had a great time and it is a wonderful property. The amenities are great.

Can't wait to go back...

We've stayed at numerous VRBO properties in the US and Caribbean. This beautiful property ranks at the top of our list and served our party of 8 very well!! Easy drive to NASA, Kemah and the Galveston Strand where we spent two days. Walking distance to the beach and property provides many beach items; but, recommend bringing your own tent if you plan to spend the day at the beach. Quiet community, well quipped kitchen, nice linens, attention to many small details to make anyone's stay enjoyable! We enjoy trips to the Coast; but, don't care for most of the hotel options offered in the area. This property is a GREAT alternative and will bring us back to the Galveston area more frequently! Wish we had found it sooner! We look forward to booking with VRBO and Joanie again in the near future!! Thank you for everything Joanie!

Every Detail!

We have stayed in many rental properties, several in Pointe West. This was the most well kept and appointed we have enjoyed! Every detail was though of, including an emergency toothbrush that our son made use of. Beds are clean and comfortable. Showers are great. Living/dining space is lovely and complete. Our boys loved it as well (ages 6, 12, &15). Joanie is in contact and easy to reach with any concerns. We would definitely recommend the location and will hopefully visit again!

Cannot Beat Perfect

I rent beach houses from Galveston to Florida, including Gulf Shores in Alabama. This was all about our overall experience, including amenities, beach access and the house itself. Not right on the beach but a mere stones throw away from a nice, clean, sandy, sparsely crowded beach. Carrying coolers, beach gear, fishing poles and a pop up cabana was accomplished with ease. We were able to take a nice walk down the beach to the main amenity, the huge pool area (very clean), work out facility, bar, restaurant ...all in view of the stunning sunsets we enjoyed. We also visited a more private pool area across the main parkway for our BYOB and packed lunch day. Enjoyed the hot tub and the little lazy river in part of the pool. Back at the house, the floor plan was perfect, furniture was nicer than what I put in my own home, and the beds were adorned with quality bedding for extra comfort. Not one to watch TV on vacation, I thought it was likely a real plus to have the new 4G TV's and video players in the master and living room. Didn't need to call nor did we hear from the owner. A big heartfelt thank you for providing such a nice home to us to relax and have fun in for our long weekend off. Future beach house searches will start with this property.

Beautiful Beach Getaway

This property was fantastic for our weekend at the beach. It is very clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. It was a pleasure enjoying the various balconies and a short walk to the beach. The nearby clubhouse swimming pool and bar are also a big plus. The owner is incredibly courteous, professional & prompt. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Fun and relaxing getaway!

We had a great time staying at this property! The house was clean, neat, comfortable and decorated beautifully. It is just a short walk to the beach. We also enjoyed the beach club and pool. We will definitely go back!

Beach Get Away

The beach home was very clean and well kept. The WiFi works well. Walking distance to the beach and convenient to the beach club pool. Would definitely to back!!

Awesome experience

I stayed with my parents, daughter and two grand children. There was one room that had bunks and a pull out bed that was perfect for my daughter and two grandkids (6 & 3). We all had our own bathroom which was very convenient! The views were very nice, the property was clean and nicely decorated. Access was simple. The beach was a short walk. The pool and restaurant was enjoyable. I will definately stay again!
