Peaceful Getaway nestled in the woods in Northern PA.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is for you! A 3 bedroom house located in the middle of 50 acres of land and nestled in the woods. The farm is great for sitting on the porches or by the campfire and spending time in the great outdoors. It is not unusual to view wildlife in the fields around the house.

NOTE: Wi-fi works great for streaming or basic browsing but is not recommended for remote work.

Things to do in the area:
The PA Grand Canyon is 30 minutes away and has picturesque views and great hiking trails.

Wellsboro Pennsylvania is 25 minutes away.

Corning NY is 25 minutes away and offers museums, restaurants, Corning Glass and much more!

The Finger Lakes wineries are within driving distance.

Note: This is a working farm and there are sheep that live in the barn in the back of the property, honey bees busy at work and a cat that has adopted the farm as his home. The owners feed the animals daily from a back entrance.

Wonderful home. Clean, well decorated and nestled on a gorgeous 300 acre farm. Easy to get wherever you want to go, too! Our favorite part were all the deer that hung around the property. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a country setting

annual adventure

This is our third September here and it has quickly become our favorite vacation of the year. We are close to the lake, where we go fishing and we enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the campfire and the house!

Wonderful Farm House

This was the most comfortable I have ever been staying in a Vrbo. As soon as I walked in the door, I felt like I was at home. The house was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. Shelley was wonderful and so easy to talk to. She gave me great reccomendations for fun things to do with the family. Also, my kids loved the sheep! We will definietly stay here again - I'm already looking for excuses to come back to the area!

Country stay

The house was clean and comfortable. The property is in a very rural area off a dirt road midway up a long driveway. Very peaceful. There are parks nearby and places to hike.

Better than the pictures

We had an enjoyable stay here for our annual fishing trip to the lakes. Usually, the pictures on vrbo look better than the actual place, but this place is better than the pictures. The setting, the animals (cat, dogs, sheep, etc.) were all great. Communication with the host as well as the gentleman maintaining the place were also top notch. We'd definitely stay here again.

Sisters picnic

The house was just as listed. It is very quiet and peaceful. Our grandson loved walking up to see the sheep. The house was well stocked with everything you might need for your stay. We were close to my sisters which is why we rented the house.

Beautiful location with some drawbacks

The property was nice & secluded in a beautiful area. However the master bath is small & the beds were not as large as listed. We also found some issues with the bed in the master bedroom. Over all it is a nice place but could stand some minor improvements

Family reunion

Overall the property was excellent. On arrival master bedroom AC did not sufficiently cool. We called Shelley & she promptly had another unit installed. Two suggestions would be to provide 1-2 large cooking pots and provide new/ better mattress on master bedroom bed or at least switch master mattress with guest room mattress which is a little better. Thank you for sharing your property.

"The Farm": peaceful and quiet as you can get!

My wife and I needed a quick getaway for the weekend. 2 1/2 hour drive from were we live was perfect... Not too far but far enough that no one would know you. I checked out a few properties and as I was narrowing them down "The Farm kept drawing me in. Each time it was calling out "pick me"! Lol This property is on a dirt road high in the hills and mostly farm land surrounds it. I was change of pace we needed and it was so nice that the owners are willing to share it with anyone sight unseen. They even allow ones to bring horses!!! We explored the farm and it was fun to see what different building were for and what was raised there. Driveway is long with the house being far from the road. If a vehicle passes you barely hear it! The property is well kept as there is a cleaning service that comes in. The kitchen is well stocked and ready to use. Bedrooms/bathrooms very clean and bedding fresh. Bathrooms have everything you need for showering/bathing. As a tip we like to purchase items to help with the next renters as it helps with not having to run to Dollar General every minute. Basement is huge with washer/dryer. Home is really comfortable and homey as you would expect on a farm. Communication with the owner was seamless and very inviting and we will be back!!! We loved it so much that in the spring I am bringing the the mother-in-law! Lol

Perfect

We took a chance and booked this rental as we have family that owns a farm nearby and we are so glad we did. The house was just as it was listed. We loved the privacy and the location. It was far enough away from the family farm yet close enough to run over to hunt or hang out. Loved seeing all the deer and the old buildings. We will be back.

Very relaxing, and quiet, we felt right at home and we were very pleased with how it was all set up and how clean everything was.. we rented for a weekend since I had to sing at my cousins wedding.. when we come back out that way to visit we will for sure be booking at this property again! peaceful stay

this was the perfect location for me and my family to spend the weekend at the lake. everything we needed was provided. it was hard to see around the campfire at night (lights would be nice), but we still enjoyed it a lot! the view off the front porch is beautiful, so chairs there would be an awesome addition! this is a great place to stay for any outdoors-loving family!

Slice of heaven

This place was exactly that...a slice of heaven! Exceptionally clean, spacious and well kept. The views from practically every room were therapeutic. Highly recommend waking up early enough to catch the sunrise over the mountains right from the comfort of your bed. The location seemed perfect enough, lying between the Finger lake wine region (about 1 hour north) and the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon (40 min out); not to mention the land immediately surrounding the home was fun to explore. A surprisingly well stocked Exxon gas station and Dollar General are close enough to make a quick run if need be. This place exceeded expectations and we look forward to returning.

Just what we needed

Expansive property for sure. Very private. Just what we needed. Only 25 minutes from Corning NY. Make sure you bring what you need since not much shopping in the area. I Recommend if you want to have a get away close to Corning area. Which has a great museum and fun downtown.

Peaceful country setting

Very peaceful setting. Lots of birds and deer to watch. Home was well stocked with a good floor plan. Comfortable bed. Loved the covered porch with ceiling fan, and ate most of our meals here.. Would stay here again.
