Immaculate nostalgic 1300 sq. ft. 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in the heart of Oak Ridge just minutes away from everything. It's literally like time stopped 30 years ago, this house has it all! Including a detached garage, 2 car carport, large storage shed, level driveway, basketball court & spacious flat back yard with great privacy. It's perfect for someone relocating to Oak Ridge who is in-between buying and selling home and doesn't want to rent a small apartment with no privacy. Or for someone who is working in Oak Ridge temporarily. This is a quiet neighborhood on a quaint street minutes from stores, restaurants, and schools.

This sanitary, clean home comes fully furnished with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Home offers refinished hardwood floors and new LVP flooring in other areas. Kitchen includes granite counter tops with Keurig, crock pot, blender, toaster, and all utensils one could possibly need. Entire backyard is fenced in which is great for pets and/or children.
Open living room/dining room combination with new large flat screen TV.

Large master bedroom includes a king bed with plenty of clothes storage. Master bath includes walk-in shower.

This little gem was perfect for our long weekend visit with family. We could come back each night and relax as we prepared for our next adventure. Oak Ridge stay

Place was beautiful, so many antiques and pretty features….and great amenities throughout the home. Location was perfect. Neighbors were kind and will definitely stay here again when back in the area. Thanks for the hospitality.

In town for a conference

This is an adorable and historic home conveniently located in Oak Ridge. The home is well furnished including everything we needed in the kitchen. There were plenty of pillows/blankets and a washer/dryer for convenience. The home is clean, cute, and on a nice quiet street. We walked a few places while there.

Great little house in quiet neighborhood.

Utilized as a base location for visiting family and friends who moved to the area. Very comfortable home and we were even blessed one morning with two deer in the back yard.

Worked well for us

Nice place to gather with another couple, much better than sharing a hotel. It had everything we needed and then some. Our only disappointment was due to the old school spring mattress in the master bedroom. The loud squeaky sounds made for a restless first night. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. I will still recommend this to others staying in the area.

Poor condition

While I'm sure this was once a beloved family home, it is need of significant cleaning and updating before it can serve as an acceptable rental. The beds and mattresses appear to be very old. The springs were loud enough to wake us up when one person rolled over. One of the rooms (the one with yellow bedding) smelled very strongly of body odor (which seemed to be coming from the window treatments), and the whole house overall had an unpleasant smell. Some of the white towels were yellowed. The light switches and walls have years of grime and fingerprints. This house needs a deep clean, lots of paint, and new beds, linens, window treatments, and more. While the 1940s house is potentially charming, no one wants "historic" linens and beds.

"Grandma's House" Felt Like Home

Property was as described. We met the cleaning lady upon arrival and she was very friendly and helpful. Property was clean and comfortable. Basketball hoop is located in the back yard, though we didn't get much chance to play. During our trip to the area, we enjoyed ziplining (Wahoo Ziplines), cave exploration (Lost Sea Adventure), shopping in Gatlinburg, and more. Everything we did was within 90 minutes driving time. This house was a perfect cozy location to rest in between adventures.

My wife and I live here in Oak Ridge. I'm a Physical Education teacher at Oak Ridge High School and also a real estate agent for The Real Estate Firm here in town. My wife is a State Farm Agent and has her office here in Oak Ridge as well. We have 3 wonderful children: Elle (1st Grade), Kutler (6th Grade), and Kannon (11th Grade), and all three of them attend Oak Ridge Schools. We have experience with rental properties, but this is our first time doing the Airbnb. We are excited about being your host, and will make sure your stay with us is a great experience!

Home is minutes away from Melton Lake, 15 minutes away from Windrock park, and 20 minute drive to everything in Knoxville. Property comes with a large detached garage and carport for your ATVs/Bikes/Vehicles. Back yard includes basketball court and spacious fenced in, flat backyard with great privacy.
