Overall the property is very comfortable, easy access to the main freeways/arteries in San Antonio and very conveniently located for us during our stay. The pool was clean and made for a nice weekend break from the chaos of our relocation that brought us to San Antonio. Our host was incredibly responsive and I’m grateful for the flexibility to extend our stay when our closing dates kept changing. The only reason I rated a 4-star instead of a 5 was the fact that the property is a bit rundown and in need of fresh paint on the walls and baseboards as well a serious deep-clean to rid it of lingering pet hair/dander, cobwebs, and to remove the hard water stains in all the shower/baths, sinks and faucets etc. the backyard deck has some very soft planks and the pavers are unstable in places which could be a safety hazard for young children or elderly guests. I was a little annoyed that I spent the whole stay picking up dried pet waste from the yard from previous guests, think I picked up twice as much than what my dogs left, but that’s more of a reflection of bad guests than anything to do with the host…do better Vrbo community! Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and provided us nearly two weeks of stability as a transition between our home in Dallas and our new home in San Antonio that a corporate apartment never could have given us.
