Kern Beach is an oasis in the heart of entertainment. Enjoy an open floor plan, large game room and heated swimming pool.

Kern Beach is within walking distance of the grocery store, Don Haskins Center, Cincinnati entertainment district, trolly route, restaurants and more.

Please note that from October to March the reservation does not included heating the pool/spa. The pool/spa can be heated for a fee. Please contact host to arrange.

Kern Beach House is a great option for a large family. Location is wonderful aWith ample room in the living areas to hang out and visit. The pool and pool tabke are such great extras to keep everyone entertained. The home is clean and there were plenty of towels and linens for our grouo of 8.Matthew was very responsive. We will stay again when jn ELP.If cooking, make sure to bring/buy all ingredients. The kitchen has many utencils, but no spices, not even salt or sugar for coffee.

House was great! Host was AWESOME! Great communication throughout and incredibly accommodating. My family and I enjoyed a dip in the pool while enjoying a game on the outside tv. Another night we had a fire and smores! We also ejoyed the gameroom. Pool table, darts and video games kept us entertained! Highly recommended....

Was a nice geteaway, Matthew was super helpful throughout the stay and very responsive the entire time. We enjoyed our stay especially the pool and back yard area.

We have stayed here several times and all stays have been wonderful for our family. We cook, play games, swim, enjoy the fire pit. Walk to a great park. Shop at a great grocery store. The host is very responsive. Hope to come back next year!

Wonderful property!

We recently rented this property for my daughter's bridal party to sleep at and we really enjoyed the pool and the property. The property was very clean and well maintained with a good privacy fence around the pool and the big outside TV was a plus. The neighborhood is really nice, and everyone's stay was comfortable. Our family and friends would definitely recommend this property.

Graduation, family fun

Great location that is walkable to a park, dog park and grocery store. The indoor pool table kept everyone busy and the outdoor pool kept us cool. Great place.

Great house!

We stayed here with extended family for a military graduation. House was in a convenient location to get to Ft. Bliss. The kids really enjoyed the pool.

Perfect for families

Lovely well-equipped home with a beautiful pool and backyard. Activities to keep everyone entertained- and well located near to a good grocery store, within walking distance to a great park with playground, running path, basketball courts, and even a bridle path.

Perfect family visit

Lovely decor, highly functional design. Numerous activities for all ages. Very well located near a fine grocery store, shopping, and restaurants. The host is welcoming, thoughtful, and able to answer questions and accommodate requests by our group. We hope to return for another family visit next year.

overall good not enough bathrooms for 10 ppl and one of the toilets seat was loose, futons are horrible should get money back for the 2 futons listed as a beds they had a pole n the middle that made them useless not enough blankets and sheets only one set for one futon needs painting and vent cleaning could see scum in the vents, other than was good but not for the money

Wedding command post

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding. Great location close to UTEP(pictures) and Porta Blu Event Center(wedding and reception). We were able to use the house for hair and makeup and getting ready photos. Our whole family could stay at the house and a bed for everybody. Wonderful outdoor space for relaxing the day after the wedding. The host was extremely accommodating and helpful. The host is also great at communications with you if you have questions.

The house was in a good location and was very spacious and well-equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were great. However, there was no pack-and- play for my baby, as I had anticipated. The owner did work with me to try to remedy the situation while I was there. We had several problems with the keypad on the door, which again the owner did work with me to remedy as quickly as possible. There were lots of small pieces of trash in the backyard surrounding the pool, including bottle caps, tabs from cans and even pieces of sharp broken glass. Luckily, no one got cut walking around barefoot and then we did a big sweep before we let the kids walk out there. One of the lawn chairs was broken as well and the paint was peeling off the patio columns in big sheets

Thanksgiving weekend

The house was very spacious. Located in a nice neighborhood close to the university which is what we wanted. A couple of things that could really improve the home. New pots and pans! The ones at the home were awful. More cooking utensils. The outside TV was missing the extension cord and sound box so we were unable to watch TV outside. The host did offer to come help us, but we were already starting our Thanksgiving festivities. Overall we would stay there again.

Family vacation

The house had a lot of little things wrong like broken outlet covers. The beds were clean, floors not so much. We paid to have the pool and hot tub heated but hot tub was slightly warmer than the pool. There is one game room area. Not a closed off room. Futons are kid sized not for anyone over 5’10’’. In all the house worked well for us. All doorways were wheelchair accessible.

Kern "Home Away from Home" Experience

Overall, we all had a fun time, but the expectation wasn't there. With four females in the group, mirrors were missing in the bedrooms. It be a good investment for future occupants. The "accuracy of the online listing" stated three (3) bathrooms. Turns out, only two had a toilet and with ten (10) people... When we opened the grill hood, it had old crispy tortillas from the previous renter? Had to really scrub the grill grittles as they were filthy. A "parking issue" was reported by Host. Turns out it was the wrong house. This put a "damper" on the "family get together. However, appreciate the Host approving our long awaited "family get together. Had a wonderful time swimming and playing pool. Appreciate all the "extras" in the barn.

Fantastic location, minimal accommodations

Five stars overall. This was my first rodeo. Seven 70 year old guests spending eight nights, checking out El Paso and NM hiking, wine, and beer. And the Mexican food, and TACOs. A fantastic time was had by all. Now, onto the criticisms, hopefully taken constructively. The spa cannot be isolated, and thus is useless. (We were warned.) Funky plumbing in laundry room shower required the host to tell us how to turn it off. Written instructions would have been better. The washing machine has totally worn-off, mission-critical buttons. Written instructions would have mitigated the problems. +Kitchen is well equipped wrt pots and pans. Great coffee maker. Great dish washer. Zero glasses suitable for wine. Five coffee mugs. For up to 16 guests? Really? Not enough silverware. Dining table only accommodates six. The house needs more chairs. Folding chairs would have been fine. Every room needs a trash can, a mirror, and some cloths hangers. Not enough toilet paper to accommodate seven guests for eight nights. WiFi was flaky. Power cycling remedied the problems. Rain pours off the roof's valley onto where you need to key-in. A rain gutter is needed. (Not an El Paso concept...) Again, five stars from the harsh Silicon Valley judge.

Great Place

This was a great place for a large group to stay at. Plenty of towels and toys to use in the pool. Lots of TV's which was great for watching football. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and make coffee. Will definitely book this place again if we go back to EP.
