Welcome to Bungalow 214! We are a historic Craftsman home in downtown McKinney that's packed with personality and amenities. We pride ourselves on being family-friendly as we know just how stressful it can be traveling with little ones. We believe you deserve a truly relaxing (i.e. stress-free) time away from home with a safe space for your kids and room for you to enjoy. No need to pick between your kids' enjoyment and your own desire for a comfortable, stylish space!

Our home is approximately 1300 sf and offers 2 private bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. Fresh linens and towels are provided and there are 2 queen beds, a mini crib, pack & play, and a bunk bed with twin above and full below. There is a spacious living and dining space, perfect for making yourself at home, we've also got a play mat that you can lay out for the little ones! Smart TVs are provided in the single bedroom and the living room. A work from home workspace is setup and ready to go in the secondary bedroom.

We've got a well-equipped kitchen so that you can easily grab some groceries and cook at home or if you prefer take a quick drive to downtown and head out and enjoy some of our favorite spots for food and drink such as The Yard, Sugarbacon, Local Yocal, Cadillac Pizza and The Spoon Cafe.

The home also has a large, private, fully fenced backyard with patio seating, outdoor grill and smokeless firepit perfect for evenings in. We also have a fun playset that your kids will love!

We've outfitted the home with all the modern amenities you might need, along with some bonus ones so you can pack less and experience more. We cannot wait to host you!

We are located just a half mile south of the historic McKinney square which means you can either take a 10 minute stroll or hop in the car for a quick drive. Parking at the square can get congested depending on weekend events so you could also call for an Uber or Lyft if you prefer!

We are always available via the Airbnb App should you have any questions or concerns or need some suggestions! Please make sure to let us know if anything is not up to your satisfaction so that we can address it right away. Again, we want your stay to be as stress-free and enjoyable as possible!

We love our charming neighborhood and our home is located just a half mile (approximately a 10 minute walk or quick little drive) south of the historic downtown McKinney Square which is full of shopping, dining, entertainment and nightlife! We are also just a few blocks from Finch Park which is perfect for getting those jitters out before heading downtown. Then spend your afternoon at our favorite nearby brewery, TUPPS, and take the whole crew, there's always something happening there!

Easy parking in our gravel driveway or in front of the home.

Additional things to note:

- Minimum booking age is 25.
- Max of 6 guests allowed, 4 of which can be adults.
- If you are tall, make sure to watch your head in our quaint little home as the ceilings are 7'4".
- We are in close proximity to a historic house that is a wedding and event venue which means occasionally there will be some music and celebration happening on the weekend.
