Ponderosa Paradise is nothing short of an amazing place to be. From the moment you arrive, you'll feel how special this property really is. Great for the whole family, or for friends alike seeking to get away from city.
From the Arcade Room to the wraparound deck and smart TV's, our place has everything you need to have an amazing time. With just steps to downtown, means you can hear the live bands on the weekends and our little town has some ROCKING bands!
The Space:
This listing includes exclusive access to the entire property! Including the wraparound deck, game room cabin located just steps from the main house, the upstairs unit and the downstairs studio with sepparate entrance!
The arcade machine has been swapped out with a brand new cocktail table arcade machine, which will be much more easy to operate and reliable. I had a total of 412 games!
The home does not have central air, however we have installed a total of 3 portable AC units, one in the living room, and one in each of the bedrooms in upstairs of the main house. The game room cabin is not air conditioned, nor is the downstairs studio (the studio stays very cool however due to the natural insulation of the hill side)

- Our home is equipped with one outdoor security camera
- Ice maker is disconnected due to frequent power outages in the area causing it to leak*
Guest Access:
We have keyless entry and you will be provided with your own unique code upon reservation. We have 4 parking spaces located on the property.

Great location and beautiful house

My family and I have always loved Twain Harte, my dad used to come up here when he was a kid and as a result he brought me up here as a kid as well. We've always loved how cute and cozy the little town of Twain Harte is. Perfectly located to so many amazing things and gets just the right amount of snow, not too much, not too little. We decided that we would eventually have to own a property up here some day.
2021 was the year that we were able to make this dream come true and after countless hours of hard work purchasing the property, fixing it up and loading it with furniture. We're finally able to say that we're proud owners of a cabin up in Twain Harte! We love this place so much that we decided it would be beneficial to share it with others when we're not there, hence why we listed it on VRBO :)

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
This property has everything you could want. It's close to downtown, but isn't too close to any of the main roads which makes it very calm and quiet. It's surrounded by 100+ foot pine trees and just the whole aesthetic of the property is gorgeous. We knew the second we pulled up to this cabin that it would be the one for us. We hope that you all feel the exact same way.

Our most unique benefit is the arcade cabin and how close we are to downtown. Seriously, it maybe takes a 1 minute walk and you're in the heart of downtown.
