Cooley’s Cottage is a beautiful log home with a hot tub!

Our beautiful log home provides a romantic, quiet mountain getaway experience. A spacious first floor bedroom with queen size log bed and upstairs loft room with queen size bed provide comfortable, private sleeping arrangements for two couples, or a small family of four. A darling country kitchen provides everything you’ll need including a dishwasher. Relax by the beautiful stone fireplace in the living room or enjoy the tv in the snug while watching deer play just outside the tall windows. After a day of hiking, biking, or rafting in nearby Ohiopyle you can enjoy an evening dining on the back deck, searing some steaks on the charcoal grill (summer months), or unwinding in the hot tub if the weather permits. We also provide a washer and dryer for your laundry needs. In floor radiant heat will keep your toes warm during winter months while central air conditioning keeps the home cool and comfortable in the summer. We are located just minutes from Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, Ohiopyle State Park, Nemacolin Woodlands, Lady Luck Casino, Fort Necessity, Laurel Caverns, and the Jumonville Cross. Our mobile massage therapist is available for in house massage services by pre scheduled appointment. Please inquire for details.

Great spot for relaxing. Hot tub was clean and nice. Bowl of candy and the cinnamon rolls were a nice touch, also the signs with our names and anniversary welcome were above and beyond expected.

This was one of the nicest places we ever stayed. The home looks exactly like the pictures and it was impeccably clean and organized. As soon as you walk in, the place feels cozy and right at home. Kevin and Luann are extremely nice people, they answer any questions you have, and they provide anything and everything you could need here. They even had some delicious cinnamon rolls from a local bakery waiting for us when we arrived. We very much enjoyed our stay here and loved using the hot tub. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.

This was the girls weekend that we dreamed about for years. The coziness of the living room was what really sold the whole cabin for us and it surpassed expectations. We have intentions on coming back every year until we are too old to be able to step into the hot tub, and even then we will still be coming back. This log home is beautiful! Every amenity you could need is there. The home was spotless, the furniture and beds were extremely comfortable, and all of the appliances are top shelf. And the owners couldn’t be more friendly. We were there on a very snowy weekend and the cabin is a spectacular place to relax and watch the snow fall.

This is one of the best vacation rentals I have stayed in. The cottage has all the amenities of home in a beautiful and quiet setting. The beds are comfortable as is the rest of the cottage, I highly recommend Cooley’s Cottage.

The cabin was impeccably clean. Thos was one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub after spending the day in Ohiopyle. Luann was hospitable and responsive. And the muffins were a thoughtful touch. We will definitely stay here again!

The place is immaculate and the owners were lovely. Very helpful, never intrusive. The place is near town and convenient to the trails. After a day of hiking, we relaxed in the hot tub and watched the stars. The kitchen was fully stocked making it easy to cook. Would highly recommend.

Owners, Kevin and Luann Schaefer built this home in 2002 for Luann's mother, Mrs. Cooley shortly after her husband passed away. She made many wonderful memories and shared her home with family and friends before moving into personal care at the age of 94.
