This charming home away from home is located in the much desired Taylor Creek Isles on Finger Canal that leads out to the locks. Set on a quiet street and yet a stone's throw to restaurants and shopping. It is 3 miles to the Scott Driver boat ramps. Come experience all Okeechobee has to offer from fishing, antiquing, flea markets, nature hikes, boating and much more.

Cozy and calm

The property was very clean inside and out. It was lovely to sit out on the deck at night as there always seemed to have a breeze. A beautiful tree in the back was very shady.The inside kitchen is lovely and big and had all we needed. We REALLY enjoyed this home and would go back in a heartbeat.

We absolutely loved the house, the basket of goodies was so thoughtful and appreciated. My husband went right for the fishing poles & enjoyed the canal. Visited with family we hadn’t seen in years. Can’t wait to come back there again !

Great house

Me and my dad and son came down for a guided fishing trip. The house was perfect clean,good location and the owner was very helpful. We caught a bunch of fish! We didn't fish at the house but we did see a man catching tilapia with a cast net .

Great Time! Big Bass!

Place was wonderful. Communication was great. Very clean. We were there to fish in Lake Okeechobee, but the biggest bass we caught while we were there was in the canal behind the house.

Absolutely what the doctor ordered

My wife and I cannot say enough about our stay in our Okeechobee vacation rental home. it was a time for my wife and I to unwind, fish and slow down. Our rental home was everything we wanted it to be and more. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already re-booked for December. Thank you so very much for a vacation that we will not soon forget.

Annual Fishing Trip Just Got an Upgrade!

We thoroughly enjoyed this property! It was clean and well-stocked with nearly everything we needed for our stay. In previous stays at other properties, we’ve needed to bring our towels, kitchen towels/potholders, skillets, etc. Everything we needed was provided. The kitchen is beautifully remodeled, and we really enjoyed the selection of dishes and glasses (even shot glasses!). Our host provided snacks for us, and allowed us early entry so they we weren’t entering the property late on Easter Sunday. That made a great impression on us! We enjoyed the lanai, and ate all our meals out there while we were there. The dock is great and perfect for us to tie up the boat and use it whenever we wanted. The host was very responsive when we had a question. All in all, great property - and we’re planning to return!

Accurate all around!

Every detail and photo in the VRBO listing was accurate. The home was fabulous! Great neighborhood, great backyard for listening to all the birds of Florida. The house was well stocked with anything you may need. Very, very comfortable. We will definitely be back here!

Wonderful lake house!

Ideal lake house!

This was the perfect place for us. My husband, father-in-law & myself planned this special trip after my father-in-law suffered a stroke. Everything was so accessible & being able to fish from the dock was great. The house is immaculate & the decor is wonderful. The minute you enter you know you're in a lake house. We really appreciated the early check in. Apparently one stay isn't enough. We're already looking @ a possible November trip. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home. Can't wait to return!

Host has thought of everything

Our group was very pleased with Taylor Creek. The house has everything we needed and felt very welcoming. It is an older property but everything worked and the location is very quiet. We experienced an outage, no problem as there were candles and matches. The host messaged us to advise the electric was due to be restored in 45 mins, and it was. There's plenty of restaurant options to suit all tastes/budgets. Thx Kristen!

After losing my mom to an aggressive rare form of cancer, my family and I decided to get away and spend some time together. We rented our first Air B&B here in Taylor Creek. We fished and cooked out and played games and spent the kind of quality time together that is almost unheard of now a days. No one was nose deep in their cell phones, or video games. We had more than a nice weekend. We had an experience. We made memories. Ever since that day I have wanted to be able to give families the same. So here we are. We are very new to this and welcome any and all feedback. Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The moment we walked through the door and saw it I just knew. The set up of the home is a little quirky but it quickly grows on you. Everyone who has walked through the door has an immediate feeling of being relaxed. The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors are just so nice and friendly. Town is right around the corner so you get the feeling of being away, yet you are close to everything.
