Book this darling, two-story, family-friendly home for that next Cape Cod getaway! Set on a large, grassy lot, this adorable home features a well-equipped full kitchen, a dining table for six for mealtimes or family game nights, and two separate living areas including one at the front of the home with a wood-burning fireplace, and a second area adjacent to the kitchen and dining area with a flatscreen TV and sliding door access out to the deck. And for sleeping arrangements, this home offers four cozy bedrooms with two easy-to-access rooms on the main floor plus two kid-friendly rooms with side-by-side twin beds upstairs.

The place overall was fine. There were issues with the water temperatures that were listed in other reviews. Too hot downstairs and too cool upstairs. We had an issue with the TVs. The remotes weren't working. We contacted vacasa and got what I feel was a canned answer to check that the tv was plugged in. It was. That wasn't the issue. It was the remotes. They never got back to us. Also, in the downstairs bathroom there were ants on the sink. I removed our toothbrushes, toothpaste and all my other stuff off the sink to get them to disappear.

Overall a nice place to stay with a big group. Lots of beds and a long drive way for cars - but the AC is not in every room and very old. Was hard to navigate how to cool off rooms. We couldn’t figure out how to work the TV and when we tried to get in contact with the owner we had to use a chat feature of the company. They eventually responded but would’ve been nice to have a direct line of communication / receipts of conversation instead of the chat feature deleting conversations when you X out of the web. People definitely live here throughout the year as you can tell by things in cabinets storage. We were ok with that but I know that is not everyone’s preference. Besides problems with the AC we enjoyed our stay. Check in and out was very easy.

Annual Cape Cod Stay

I have been using rental properties since 2010. This is by far the poorest excuse for a rental property that I have every had the misfortune of using. Difficult entry pad. Incorrect wifi name given to me. No book with house directions...nothing to tell about light switches, no garbage pick up directions, no Information about TV system, no neighborhood information, nothing about the pond in the area, no sightseeing information. No hair dryer. Main floor shower too hot. Second floor shower barely tepid. Only one fan to try to cool two bedrooms with no a/c on different floors. Closets were stuffed full of big bags of 'who knows what'. That left no space for clothes or storing suitcases. There was a very small bottle of dish washing liquid. Two small kitchen towels for all hand washing of dishes since no dishwasher. The dishes were filthy. All plates were slimy and there was black mold on the back. I had to scrub them with the abrasive side of the sponge to clean them. The glasses were also greasy. I was constantly killing ants on the floor around the trash can in the kitchen and on the kitchen counter. The TV was impossible to use. We had to buy and install new batteries to get the remotes to work. We could not even access our own hulu account. Poor TV system. Hodge-podge of cords hanging from the TV in mid air was certainly not up to code. The bed in the front downstairs bedroom had a large stain on the mattress, possibly from urine. Would not recommend this house.

Disappointing

Beware of the rental manager Vacasa. They do a great job at coordinating and managing the payments and check ins, but we had a problem with bees infesting this house, with dozens of bees getting inside the house from behind a light switch plate and they were unresponsive and when they finally responded, they were completely unhelpful. My son is very allergic to stings and I was extremely worried. Even though I notified Vacasa as soon as we noticed the issue, they did nothing to correct the situation or to try and refund any portion of our payments for the inconvenience, there was only 2 delayed responses without any help and the second one was after we had left the property. The property itself is only “OK”: two of the four bedrooms have no AC units and can get very hot in the summer, there’s no dishwasher, and the showers are either hot (downstairs) or cold (upstairs) without the ability to control the temperatures of the water. We managed through all of that but the bees coming into the house was the last straw. For Vacasa to be so unresponsive is downright terrible — I will not rent another Vacasa managed property again in the future.

Nice and clean in great location

This first floor is very nice and clean. We appreciated that the 1st flr bedrooms were clran, sheets and towels were also clean. The kitchen and 1st floor bathroom seem newer. Nice layout and really nice backyard. The send floor bathroom is old and has weird door that make it difficult to get out of the bathroom. The 2nd floor bedrooms are also old and have a weird smell (could be the old carpet).

Family Getaway

This was the perfect house for a quick family get away! My 20 year old son said he loved the house minutes after arriving! The location was quiet yet convenient and the house was spacious enough for 5 adults!

Great value for the price and close to everything

Overall we really enjoyed the home! It was a fair price and relatively close to everywhere we went. Also the backyard was great.
