Cape Getaway 4 Bedroom w/ Outdoor Shower, Ramp Access to Water, New Bathroom

The house is a recent purchase and has had several recent improvements including new floors, counters, an outdoor shower, a pool table, a fresh paint job, and a brand new full bathroom in the basement!

Falmouth is a beautiful beach town and famous for its several places to soak up the sun! The house is only 2 miles away from Menauhant Beach, Surf Side and only 15 min to the famous Old Silver Beach. Passes to park at these beaches are available online or at the Falmouth Town Hall. You are also only 4 miles away from Mashpee Commons!

Our home features 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, an outdoor shower, and a large living room with a 65” smart TV and kitchen/sitting area. The garage can be used to play games and has a pool table. We have an outdoor shower, patio set and a brand-new Weber Grill! There is also a washer and dryer in the basement.

It's a great place to spend time with friendly or friends, whether you're on the beach or playing pool!

Great location

Cute property in a great location. The neighborhood felt very safe and it was a perfect spot for my family. House was clean and the space was great.

Amazing

Great! Check in was simple and the property was just like the pictures. Everything worked well except we did need to use a lighter to get the stove to light.

Great location!

This was a beautiful home. It also had small details which helped us out during our stay. We used the pool table, the grill, the beach chairs, and the beach towels! There were even board games to keep the kids busy. Accessing the WIFI was pretty easy. This is a really nice home, I would suggest adding more photos of the home so people can see more of what it has to offer. Very quiet and relaxing location. Would definitely suggest. Also, home is bigger than what pictures shows. There are 4 bedrooms and someone could even sleep on the couch if need be. The laundry room was a nice bonus as well, we did some laundry while there so that there was less to do when we got back. Thank you very much!

Almost Nice

The house is almost nice but has some serious problems that caused the stay to be mediocre. The supplies and house set up was nice. If the problems are fixed it would be a great place. Awesome back yard too. Issues: Major smell of cat pee. Unsure where it came from but it was quite strong. Upstairs AC vents were not working which made downstairs very cold when using the AC Upstairs shower had to be held otherwise it would only spray wall. Washing machine didn't work. If the host fixes these issues I would recommend the house.

AC Worked Great!

Nice property with amazing AC. Everything was ready and clean when we checked in. The property needs a little fixing. The freezer wouldn't keep ice cold, it kept melting. The sliding door needs to be repaired and the dishwasher needs to be secured to the cabinets.. The kitchen had all the pots and pans and essentials needed but we had to go buy salt and pepper, sugar, all spiced. Maybe it is a Cape Cod thing not to have those in the unit since COVID, not sure. All rentals we have stayed in in other locations have had the basic spices, S&P, sugar, etc. Location is great. Very close to Mashpee Commons and downtown Falmouth. With minor adjustments we would stay there again.

The location and property were both nice but there was many things that were disappointing to have in a rental house.The bedroom in the basement had a very bad odor / mold mildew smell to it - we had to get air fresheners and candles to mask the smell as best as we could.The outdoor shower was very dirty, weeds growing in the whole thing and the bottom rocks to stand on were broken. There was a propane tank with he grill but it was empty so we had to stop mid grilling to bring everything inside to cook. You have to use a lighter to light the stove and there was also only 6 forks in the house.The beds were covered in sand - under the comforter and on top were all coated in sand. When we checked in, the cleaners left 3 wet dish rags on the coffee table and kitchen tables. Upon arrival, the AC was not working for the first 2 hours which the host let us know and was very quick with responses and getting someone over to look at it which was very nice and we really appreciated that.The pool table in the basement had two pool sticks but the tops of both were broke and there was no cue ball so we could not even use the table.While I am not one to write reviews, the house just had a few things that made our stay tough. Overall, the house was nice and we loved the location but just a few issues we ran in to over the course of a few days.

Would not recommend

The listing states 2 bathrooms (well they consider the outdoor shower a bathroom which is absurd). The 4th bedroom is in the basement and it smells AWFUL with mold/mildew. I wouldn’t even let my son sleep down there! They state the property sleeps 10 and that is not correct. The property states that there is a sleeper/futon in living room. (Again false!). When I contacted the host he said we could use the couch in the garage…..again the basement smells awful like mildew/mold so no one could sleep there! Took my elderly mom on a vacation and it was a nightmare! My mom needs the bathroom often so it was totally inconvenient having only ONE bathroom I would never have rented it knowing that! The smell was awful as soon as you opened the front door. My son ended up sleeping on the floor in the living room. The king bed was HARD and no one wanted to sleep in that bed. I have rented houses before and I have never had an issue with false advertising

We loved the house it was very clean and the picture window was very relaxing. I wished that the window had some kind of window treatment for privacy at night. The kitchen had no seasonings so we opted not to cook but had a great stay despite the minor dislikes.
