Gabriel, our on-site caretaker, is available Monday–Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to ensure the property stays in top condition throughout your stay.
He maintains the pool and gardens, performs light cleaning, removes garbage, and handles small maintenance tasks — ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Please note that Gabriel speaks Spanish and focuses on property care rather than direct guest communication, but he is friendly, respectful, and discreet.

For guest communication, the Stellar Villas team is always reachable by message for anything you may need.

We are returning clients. The property is immaculate, beautifully decorated, has all the amenities and is exactly as advertised. The pool is a perfect oasis from coming back from the beach (2 min walk) or enjoying a cocktail in the evening. The property is gated, safe, quiet and the best part is a 15 min walk into town where you have your choice of amazing restaurants, shopping or excursions.The location is a 2 min walk to the beach where you see the most amazing sunsets!Gabriel is there daily maintaining the property and cleaning the homes. It truly feels like a home away from home.We have already recommended this Vrbo to friends and Will be coming back again.

Tamarindo - Oasis

We thought this property was great. It’s a very safe a secluded property that is very close to beaches and a short golf cart ride away from downtown Tamarindo. A property manager was always there during the day for any maintenance or cleaning issues. I would highly recommend staying at this location.

Safe and comfortable

This was a nice property. Comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms. Very clean and secure. Great couch to gather together and watch movies in the living room. Away from the busy Tamarindo beach traffic for Easter weekend but easily walkable. There are also motorized scooters on the walk over that you can rent. There is a small market just down the street to buy groceries for the house.

Beautiful Villa

The villa was beautiful and spacious. It exceeded expectations. Being in Playa Langosta was perfect as it was quiet but easily accessable to the more lively Tamarindo. It was also a block from our favorite restaurant, El Sapo! Tara was an excellent host. She met us upon arrival and walked us through the villa and property and provided tips for our stay. She was quick to respond to any questions. One of the room air conditioners wasn't working and she had it replaced immediately. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Oasis in Playa Langosta

Tara was an exceptional host and I can’t recommend her enough. She was always available and her property was just as described. Location was ideal for our group as we were just close enough to the live atmosphere of Tamarindo but far enough to enjoy the tranquillity of Langosta. Playa Langosta Beach was a few short blocks away from the property and it’s a must visit to see one of the best sunsets in Guanacaste. If you have a big enough group I’d recommend renting out all 3 villas so you have the entire property to yourselves. That said we had some awesome neighbors during our trip. I can’t recommend the place or the host enough!

Great place and location

This home was beautiful and in a great location. Far enough away from the busy, but close enough to enjoy all that Tamarindo has to offer. In walking distance, you have an amazing beach with the most beautiful sunsets. You also have a little market for shopping as well as a fun sports bar and grill with pool table, ping pong, corn hole, etc. You also have a nicer restaurant that offers breakfast lunch and dinner, and a little place with shaved ice, acai bowls and all types of smoothies. The downside for us was the check-in, guest duties, and running out of water for over a day. The check-in process is NOT self check-in, which we did not know. It HAS to be a personal check-in where the host has to walk you through everything vs a binder or sheet that explains everything. We got in late, out of our control, and she was not happy about that. We finally arranged the check-in but it was kind of a hassle and dug into our vacation time and we missed out on some family time due to having to meet up with the host. The things that your responsible for: 1 - is taking care of the pool and ensuring that you turn the pump on every day and the water level is good. This was kind of weird to us, but since we have a pool, it wasn't foreign. 2 - is checking the water container to ensure you have water. You have to walk behind the other 2 villas and pound on the tank to see where the level is. Again, sort of strange. And the last bummer was running out of water for over a day.

Hello and Welcome! Being an avid traveler, several years ago I made my way to Costa Rica. Unlike many other countries I had visited Costa Rica instantly stole my heart; the warm and friendly people, the breathtaking landscape and the preservation of nature in its truest form captured me. I returned several times and decided this would be my new home but I wasn’t satisfied with keeping it all for myself. The properties I am hosting have given me the opportunity to share the amazing experiences I have here in Costa Rica with all of you.

THE LOCATION & SURF
Playa Langosta is located in the Guanacaste province; appropriately nicknamed the Gold Coast as it is the sunniest and most desirable beach destination in all of Costa Rica. It is easily accessible from a one hour beautiful scenic drive from Liberia (Daniel Oduber) International Airport. One of the common reasons for visiting Playa Langosta is its unbelievable surf. At the southern end of the sandy shoreline, the mouth of an estuary has an excellent surf break that often attracts boarders who prefer to hit the waves in a low-key, quiet area. The river mouth waves are short and fast, and are ideal for experienced surfers. Boasting both right and left breaks, Playa Langosta's waves typically peak at the same place, but surfers should still keep an eye out for rocks and coral here. Surfers will love coming to this area, as there are several other beaches in the region that feature great conditions such as Tamarindo, Playa Negra, Playa Grande and El Estero. Playa Grande has the most consistent breaks in the region and is popular for its surf spot called "La Casita". Playa Negra is another great spot to catch a wave, but is only recommended for expert riders as the break is very fast.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Enjoy the amenities that you would of a boutique hotel such as a refreshing pool, literally steps to the beach, maid service, and high speed wifi but without the crowds and lack of intimacy that you must endure in the hotel environment. The villas have been designed with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the living space yet each detailed with a different style.

If you have a large group please consider our Total Stellar Villa package. This will grant you full use of the entire property (all 3 villas) which will house 15 guests.

While the villas share the property, through the use of lush tropical landscaping we have supplied ample privacy for our guests. The villas each have their own entrance and plenty of parking is available. Each villa provides a fully equipped kitchen and eating area to prepare a family meal or allow one of our highly talented, world renowned, local chefs to create a feast for your palate and eyes.

Do not be fooled by other properties that claim to be "near" or a "short ride" to the prized Playa Langosta. We are in the heart of Langosta and a true, comfortable walking distance to Tamarindo whereas a car will not be needed. Many other properties will require a rental car to come down from the mountains or drive at least 20 minutes to get to the beach. With the Stellar Villas the beach is only steps away.
