Never wanted to leave!

We had the most amazing stay at Daves villa in Canto Del Mar. The location was oerfect, no 4WD needed. The views and the pool were breathtaking. But the most fun we had was the troops of monkeys that visited us everyday!

The pool is amazing as well as the view! We bought some games to play at night since no tv. Wish the living room furniture was a little more comfortable but Nona huge deal. Dave communicated great when we had issues.

Beautiful views and pool

Amazing stay at Dave’s property- we stayed for a week but could have stayed twice as long and never run out of things to do! The house has an incredible view and we enjoyed watching the wildlife and surfers from the deck and pool every day. The house is in a great location, just a few minutes to town and tucked up away so you feel you’re in your own private area. We appreciated having the washer and dryer and stocked kitchen for cooking breakfast and snacks. Dave was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay, and we ticked off many of the suggested activities he sent on his list. We will be back for sure!

Perfect time away

My husband and I are primary care givers to our moms: 99 and 98 years old. They require a great deal of our time and attention so getting away to paradise was fantastically therapeutic. We love watching and identifying birds-there were dozens! We also truly enjoyed the capuchin monkeys who greeted us our first afternoon; the howler monkeys we came to enjoy watching feed in a nearby tree; the iguana that visited us on the porch early and then spent time lounging in trees near the pool; the coatimundi who also braved the porch while we were there and then the little agouti, anole and of course the geckos. The pool was a constant source of enjoyment. We’ll be back!

Great location and view

We enjoyed our stay in Dominical. This home is in a great location with a fantastic view of the beach. The communication with the host was outstanding from the time of booking to the end of the trip. He had a lot of recommendations for things to do that we used for our trip. He even checked in on us the first day to ensure we made it ok. He also helped us book a trip at the last minute which was one of the highlights of our trip. We only cooked breakfast in the home as we enjoy eating out and experiencing the culture. They have a lot of restaurants near by to choose from. The beach is near by and the pool was very relaxing after our excursions. We even had a monkey come on the patio. Lot's of birds as well. There is a guard at the entrance of the neighborhood which is nice to have.

Beautiful views, private space, great location

Dave's Enclave at Canto del Mar wass a great place to stay to be close to all Dominical and Uvita have to offer while still having a quiet, private space to stay. We saw a lot of local creatures while hanging out on the amazing balcony or lounging by the beautiful pool. My 3 year old had a little difficulty on the stairs down to the bedrooms at first, but she adjusted after a couple of days.
