Nestled at 4,300 feet in the exclusive Settlers Ridge, Spoke Wheel Cabin offers breathtaking mountain views and a peaceful escape. Enjoy the expansive covered porch with rocking chairs, perfect for soaking in the scenery, or gather around the wood-burning fire pit at night.

Cabin is in beautiful location. Furniture is very comfortable. And we got to enjoy a good snow during our stay. Host is very responsive to any questions. This was our third visit to the cabin!

Outstanding the property is excellent the supplies were just right the pots and pans and of course coffee maker keurig was on point. The couches were apparently new or somewhat new the way they drew us in was what we needed. Would highly recommend.

No, like how VRBO indicates the rates include all fees, but later adds a cleaning fee and a VRBO fee.We weren’t able to get the fireplace to work. Not sure what the problem was.Other than that, all was great

We spent a month at Spoke Wheel and really enjoyed our time there. The porch was cozy and the lighting in the backyard was perfect. The loft upstairs would be perfect for little ones. Checkin/check out was seamless. Highly recommend!

Nice cabin

I stayed here for 6 nights with my dog to do hiking in the area. Communication with the owner was great, the check-in and checkout process was easy and clear. The cabin was great, had everything we needed and was clean. Very happy and would stay here again.

Perfect getaway

We had the best time staying at Spoke Wheel Cabin. The cabin itself was beautiful and very clean with all the amenities you could ever want or need. Our favorite part was having a cup of coffee on the covered porch that overlooks the mountains. Brandon was a wonderful host. We hope to return someday.

Gorgeous Log Cabin

This wonderful cabin was beautifully furnished, comfortable, and very clean. It was exactly as pictured. And of course the view was stunning. Our only complaint was the inconvenience of having to visit the dump every day on our way to town to drop off the garbage. We've stayed in other cabins high in the mountains where they hire a private company to pick up the trash at the end of the stay.

Spring Break Vacation

The property, cabin, and location were amazing. The host was very responsive and easy tocommunicate with. Location was easy for visiting Bryson City, Sylvia and our favorite hikes in Cherokee. Cabin was extremely comfortable.

Great experience

We booked another cabins for the long weekend and the weather made it where we couldn’t get that high into the mountains without 4x4. Brandon communicated Very well and had this property available and we stayed there. It was A very nice cabin and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The fireplace was nice and the property was very well maintained and clean.

Wonderful in every way

We stayed in this charming cabin for our first family ski trip, and loved everything about it. It was so inviting inside, and the perfect set up for our family of four. The kids loved having their own loft with TV. It was secluded and quiet, and we were treated to the prettiest snowfall. The cabin had two sleds which we all enjoyed. But the thing we appreciated the most was host Brandon’s communication and concern about the weather and our wellbeing. (We have a 2WD vehicle and don’t get snow where we’re from, and he reached out before our trip and during, and answered questions very promptly.) We hope to make coming to this cabin an annual tradition.

What a Happy New Year

Our family decided that for New Year’s we wanted to spend it in a cabin in the woods, and this home, checked every box. The communication with the owner was amazing, the home was outfit fitted with everything we needed, and the views were everything we were hoping for.

Fantastic cabin for a mountain getaway!

Beautiful mountain views from a cozy cabin or a spacious deck. A short drive to Waynesville for some shopping and dining. Easy access on paved roads from I40. The cabin was well equipped with supplies for cooking and games or puzzles for family fun. Would definitely stay here again.

Great balance between nature and modern convenience

Beautiful views decorated nicely. Easy to find. They even had a Christmas tree set up for the season. The place is quiet. We would love to come back.

Relaxation On The Mountain

Cabin is just as advertised. Location is quiet and peaceful. Spent each morning watching the light returning to the mountains or the fog moving from valley to ridge. Cabin is well stocked with supplies. Cabin is high on a mountain, but the drive up is simple and pleasant. Brandon as always kept us informed before and during the visit. We had no issues with this rental.

Great time with beautiful views

Our trip to Spoke Wheel with our two friends could hardly have been better. From the well stocked and very functional kitchen to the comfortable beds, our group felt at home in the cabin. The views of the valley were breathtaking, with the Smoky Mountains really showing off for us.Furniture was comfortable but a recliner would’ve made naps even better. Brandon answered every question promptly and accurately. We’ll certainly recommend the cabin to our friends. A great stay!

I currently live in Charlotte, NC with my wife, our 3 children and our dog. WE LOVE THE MOUNTAINS! It’s just under a 3-hour drive for us from Charlotte to Maggie Valley and we are over there every chance we get. Anytime the kids have no school on a Monday or Friday we are there for a 3-day weekend…doesn’t matter the time of year. The Maggie Valley / Waynesville area is the perfect location for anything you could want to do outdoors. Endless hiking, awesome waterfalls, tubing (snow & river), rafting, fishing, playing in the creeks, snow boarding & skiing, apple picking and on and on. Our family loves to be outdoors with nature every chance we get. What started with 1 vacation rental home in 2014 has now grown to 6. I personally manage all the listings, bookings and communication between guests to ensure an awesome trip. Any questions, comments, concerns or issues I am always available by phone, text or e-mail.
