Bienvenido a nuestra acogedora Buoy House en Agate Beach, ubicada en el extremo sur de la isla López. Nuestra familia ha disfrutado muchos momentos familiares divertidos, relajantes y de calidad en Buoy House durante los últimos veintiún años. . . y ahora está disponible para familias y parejas que disfrutarán de todos los alrededores pacíficos junto con las impresionantes vistas frente al mar frente al oeste. El fácil acceso a la playa le permitirá explorar la playa de madera flotante, y quizás sus hijos puedan usar su imaginación y construir un pequeño fuerte, mientras usted se sienta en la playa leyendo su libro favorito. Puedes caminar por la playa de Agate, caminar una corta distancia hasta Iceberg Point para ver más vistas increíbles, andar en bicicleta, sentarte en el porche delantero y tal vez ver un águila o dos. Cada noche presenciarás los espectaculares atardeceres que cambian el día y llenan tu día lleno de diversión con un cierre memorable.

Buoy House se mantiene profesionalmente y siempre se mantiene de forma limpia y ordenada. Encontrará todo el equipo de cocina necesario para la preparación de comidas junto con cafetera, microondas y tostadora. Los alojamientos para dormir tienen sábanas y ropa de cama de calidad. Buoy House está ubicado en una zona rural y tranquila, y se encuentra a solo quince minutos en automóvil a través del campo de la granja pastoral hacia la ciudad. Conocido como Lopez Village, encontrará un mercado completamente abastecido, tiendas, cafeterías, galerías, restaurantes y panaderías.

Very clean, beautiful cabin. Beach was lovely for our toddler! I will say that for the really light sleepers, you are pretty close to the Whidbey Island military base and they were doing a training Thursday evening ha. But besides that everything was WONDERFUL!!

Wonderful to be back!

We returned to this property after staying here for the first time 4 years ago. It left such a lasting impression on us, that we knew we would eventually return. We had amazing memories that we wanted to revisit. It just doesn't disappoint at all! The home is the perfect size, impeccably clean, and has all the amenities needed. Propane grill, hot water with great water pressure, comfy beds and extra blankets, games, great window curtains, etc.! The location and view can't be beat. Bald eagles, otters, tide pools, deer, giant slugs....so cool!The Buoy House just feels like home. We love sitting on the front porch, watching the tides. We love Iceburg Point and Shark Reef. It's always an adventure. We love the locals and supporting local artisans and businesses. It feels like a small community that embraces everyone. We always felt welcome.We are so grateful for the chance to return here and thank the owners for sharing their amazing home! It will always hold special memories for us that we will cherish forever!

The place is rustic and very clean. The water views and sound of waves are accessible from the living room.The manager and owner were both extremely generous and helpful when we had an unfortunate situation with the ferry. I really appreciate their help, it made the trip much nicer and easier.

Great mom & daughter get away

The bouy house is amazing. The location cannot be beat. The house is well stocked with everything we needed. The host was great with communication. We have been to Lopez many times but this was our best trip. We did beach walks/hikes everyday and enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets each night. Hopefully we will be able to return again. Thank you to the host.

Agate Beach Gem

We loved our relaxed time at the Bouy House. It was cozy and just right for our family. We had everything we needed. The space is clean and well cared for. We prefer homey and loved to new and fancy. The view from all the front rooms is magazine worthy and oh so calming.The quiet location on beautiful Agate Beach a short walk away from Iceberg Point was such a joy. We had no need of a car with all the hiking, trail running, biking and paddle boarding right out the door. Chadwick Hill and Watmough Bay are super close too and a bike ride up to Lopez Hill for a little mountain biking were fun adventures as well. The south end of the island is the quietest area of an already quiet island - exactly what we were looking for. It was our first time on Lopez. Orcas and San Juan Islands are bigger and there is more “there there” on the other islands but sometimes less is more. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Perfect view

This little gem was perfect for our week on Lopez Island! It is right across a quiet little dead end street from the beach and the unobstructed view is fabulous! We love how the view was available no matter whether we were working in the kitchen, eating at the dining table, or relaxing in the living room. The home was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. The beds were comfortable, the towels were soft, and quiet frankly, we would not hesitate staying here again in the future! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ go to Buoy House!

This lovely beach cottage was just as advertised. The house was neat, very clean and all interior furnishings and appliances were in very good order. The sunsets were stunning and very quiet on the sound end of the island. We will stay here again!

Amazing Place to Relax

My family had such a great time during our stay at the Bouy House! Its location on a dead-end road was perfect and the sunsets were absolutely amazing!! It's a short walk to the Iceberg Point trail and such a fun hike; we did it every day. There was a family of otters playing and eating right in front of the house every day we were there. The house was clean and well-stocked, my only complaint is the mattress in the master bedroom needs to be upgraded. We had such a relaxing time here, we would definitely come back.

Amazing beach house

This beach house is in an amazing location on a beautiful island. Cooking and enjoying dinner while watching the sunset created some great memories for the family. We rented some kayaks and explored the coastline around here and I would highly recommend that as well.

We love the Buoy House!

This was our second stay at the Buoy House. It is cute, clean, and enough space for a family of four. The kitchen was tidy and had space for the groceries we brought. Everything was in good condition and working order. We love the location and the views. We launched our kayaks from Agate Beach and enjoyed paddling around the bay. Iceberg Point is within walking distance. Watmough Bay and Shark Reef are nearby. And it’s an easy drive to all points north on Lopez. It’s about a 10 mile up and down bike ride to the village. We had a great visit to the Farmers Market on Saturday. This is our favorite island to relax and unwind. We keep coming back and hope to stay at the Buoy House again!

Perfectly relaxing

One of the better equipped VRBO’s I’ve stayed at, especially the kitchen. The property is clean, comfortable & thoughtfully outfitted. Very peaceful & tranquil, wonderful to be that close to the water. At little distant from town but we were fine with that. Maybe it was too early in the season but many of businesses had reduced hours and/or days they were open. We were somewhat surprised by that in mid June. The hike to and around Iceberg Point was great.

The Perfect Babymoon

We had such an amazing stay at the Bouy House for our mini "babymoon." The pictures accurately reflect the property - it is adorable, super clean and comfortable with incredible views! The property manager Ruth is so wonderful to work with; very prompt and willing to help with anything you may need. We absolutely loved being able to walk the private beach area, Iceburg Point just up the road was a nice little hike with more spectacular views, and the sunsets from the beach and even the living room windows were unforgettable! It was the perfect place to come relax before our family addition!

BuoyHouse at Agate Beach has been our family retreat for over years. At the time of purchase our three children were in pre-school and we all found great joy from the pristine surroundings and simplicity found at Agate beach and the South end of Lopez. The family has never been ready to leave and return home and we feel quite fortunate that we have this retreat to enjoy, and now share on a limited basis with others.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

When we purchased the property a complete renovation was done including all new windows to maximize the West facing views and ever changing sunsets. The no bank driftwood beach is just right out the front door. Guests will enjoy beachcombing and children can build forts and let their imagination run. Bring a good book for the beach and relax. Wildlife abounds and you are likely to see bald eagles, sea birds, deer, and sea mammals just out front of the cabin. You should sleep well while at BuoyHouse with the fresh air and peaceful no stress environment.

BuoyHouse is basic and uncomplicated offering guests a very clean, well maintained, and tidy cabin for their enjoyment. Morning walks along the beach are a given for our family, followed by a cup of coffee from the deck. The hike to Iceberg Point is just a short distance away. . . a must do memory builder.
