Your home away from home is right here at Serenity Cottage! Its perfect for longer stays or just for game days, graduation weekends, friends & family visits or a “just because” visit to Auburn! Our 3-bedroom home sits on 3+ acres in the most serene neighborhood that bares it name. The mature woods that surround the home has an abundance of wildlife including deer, squirrels, possums, ducks, armadillos, snakes and a variety of insects. As Spring is in full throttle, be on the lookout for new life emerging! Only 10 minutes from downtown Auburn, campus, & stadium. The Auburn Mall, EAMC Hospital & downtown Opelika are all only 15 minutes, so it makes for the perfect location for those traveling in small or large groups (up to 8 people, comfortably). Girls Weekend

This home was precious! So clean and spacious. It’s a short drive to all of your favorites. The cozy couches and big kitchen were perfect for relaxing and chatting. This was the perfect location for our girls weekend!

Recent stay

We enjoyed the proximity to campus and close by restaurants and grocery stores. The fenced-in backyard was great and the host was accommodating. The weather was great but regrettably, there was no outdoor furniture to sit in, despite there being two porches and a deck. War Eagle!

Exactly what we needed

Our family stayed here for my son’s AU graduation and it was the perfect spot for us. We loved the dining room table to work on a puzzle while we spent time together. I’m so glad we decided to rent this verses just all saying at the same hotel. Also my son needed a place to stay between his condo leases so it gave him a consistent place before and after his graduation and the cost was reasonable. The host also was willing to give us a late checkout as his move in plans shifted a day but we ended up not needing it. The only small thing was the thermostat reset to a higher temp than we set during the night and in hindsight I should’ve just reached out to the host the next day to have her change that going forward. I just didn’t take the time to ask.

Fantastic home for an Auburn visit

This is the second time we’ve stayed her to visit our daughter at Auburn. This time it was for graduation. Perfect home that allows you to relax. Very clean and Mary is a fantastic host. She is very responsive and easy to work with. If you need to visit Auburn, this is a great home.

The property is the most unique place in Auburn. Situated on 3+ acres of wooded peacefulness, it feels like you are in the mountains but you’re just minutes from everything! It’s convenient location to Auburn’s campus, local restaurants, shopping and more make it the perfect place to stay during your visit to Auburn.

The home is armed with SimpliSafe Home Security. The alarm will be disarmed when you enter your code on the back door. The camera pointed at the back door is for security only and for your privacy, it will not be accessed during your stay, unless we are notified by the security monitoring company of a need to review the footage. The camera does have a motion detector on it so it may turn on if someone walks by it shortly after the back door opens. Please rest assured that the camera is not being accessed by anyone. You may arm the home while you are there by pressing the “Home” button on the keypad by the back door. To disarm the home while you are there, press “Off” & then enter your key code. If the alarm is triggered, the security monitoring company will access the camera to assess the situation. We will also be notified immediately of the alarm trigger to assist in the matter.
