We live on 8 acres in the suburbs of Georgetown, De. A stroll through our nature trails, will welcome you to native flora and fauna to enjoy. We are 6 miles from Sports @ the Beach Complex. Our recently painted & renovated (Nov 2025) In-law Suite sleeps 2 in a QUEEN size bed & can add 2 adults/children in 2 comfy cots, upon request. A new folding table and chair set is available for your dining needs. We replaced the 32” TV with 58” ROKU Smart TV. We provide you with multiple Apps like NETFLIX & Amazon Prime that offer hundreds of movies and Free High-Speed WI-FI, as well. You can feel free to install your own apps, as well. Enjoy our Salt water pool & pick from our Veg garden during the warm months. We have a beautiful fire pit that you can use, as well.There is a covered, pavered patio; connected to a 6 person seating area plus, 2 chaise lounges

This is the best place I have stayed at. The hosts were wonderful. Their hospitality is unmatched. They have a beautiful property that is well maintained and close to all Delaware has to offer that we were looking for. The place was clean and in such a safe part of town. We will definitely be staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay! Ed and Cindy were great hosts- they gave a delicious recommendation for a seafood dinner - Beaches in Milton. We were offered the pick of their garden where we found the perfect size zucchini and some herbs. The bed was comfortable and very clean unit. Thanks so much!

As Advertised, that's all I could ask for!

How it is advertised is EXACTLY how it is. Ed and Cindy are nice as anything. They stay out of your hair (I never saw them once), but if you need anything they respond to your text right away. It's perfect for two people. More could be a little tight, so it's probably not the place to bring your 18 grandchildren! But I hope to go back!

Quiet, perfect little getaway! We had the most relaxing time. Ed and Cindy were welcoming, yet respectful of our privacy. We explored the entire property, and it was all well maintained. And then, there's the pool! The pool was amazing!

Respite at the Reserve

This gem is an ideal spot for restoring the body and mind while reconnecting with nature. The salt water pool is worth the stay for city-dwelling work-weary people. Early morning coffee/tea outside listening to the birds as well as the neighboring roosters and meditating with the little succulent garden standing guard outside the door is worth the stay. The wind-breaks on either side of the property diffusing any gusts into a mind-calming rustling of branches are worth the stay. Watching the butterflies flitting around the plethora of fauna found around the house and grounds is worth the stay. TL;DR The Reserve is a place of solace to reconnect with the body and soothe the inner-self. Well worth the stay.

Can’t wait to return ❤️

We had a quick four day weekend and we are so thankful that Ed & Cindy opened their home to us. It was the perfect land, quiet, and relaxation that we needed. We attended the Mondegreen Phish Festival and returning to the cottage was the best touch. I would absolutely recommend this to all visiting and we can’t wait to return.

Quaint and Peaceful

My friend and I were headed to Delaware for a wedding. We wanted a place that was quiet and close to where we needed to be. This cute in-law-suite was perfect! Ed and Cindy were wonderful hosts - available as needed and very accommodating from the time I made our reservation through to our departure. Loved the pool and the peacefulness of the area. We had swallows flying and a Carolina Wren singing. Just beautiful!

Great little spot

We enjoyed our stay as 2 adults and 2 youngish kids. The space was very small but functional since we weren’t inside much. We LOVED the private pool and spent lots of time hanging out back! Our hosts were very kind and even sent us home with goodies from their garden.

Wonderful hosts!

Ed and his wife were gracious hosts and their property was beautiful and spotless. Ed was always available via text/email/phone and the checking process was super easy. The in-law suite was well stocked comfy and so clean. The protest/pool was beautiful and so quiet.

This property sits on 8+ acres of land, on a quiet road. Neighbors are not nearby, so you have total privacy in your detached guest house. The guest house features a queen bed and 2 adult cots. It is extremely clean and in order. The back 4 acres feature nature trails to experience local flora and fauna.

As our guest, you have a private entry with a private patio. You can gaze at the stars on the 4 person high top table. There is an umbrella, gas grille and trash cans are provided. You have access to a shaded pavered patio next to a professional fire pit. The shed supplies you with all you need to make and tend a fire
