This Gulf-front condo is also near plenty of local attractions and activities including the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Gulf State Park Pier, an amusement park, golfing, and dining.

After a full day of exploring the area or lounging by the zero-entry pool that overlooks the Gulf, come home to relax on the sofa and enjoy the cable TV. When the group gets hungry, take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen. Eat meals or play games together at the dining table. Rest up in the tranquil bedrooms and get ready for another day of vacation bliss. Start your next day off right with coffee on the balcony where you can enjoy the fresh air and spectacular water views. There’s something for everyone when you stay at San Carlos.

Lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The pool was always clean and refreshing. The walk to the beach was short and easy.

Gulf Shores - San Carlos

The location of this property is excellent. The parking fee is high but I've noticed many of the properties are tacking on this extra fee. If I had to park across the street in the "overflow" lot, I would have been especially irked.

Parrothead Meeting of the Minds (annual event)

Bedroom to the right when you came through the door, bed very squeaky. Bath tub dirty. I have pictures. Living Room sliding glass door handle on right side, hanging off....screws are stripped. The whole condo needs a deep clean; floors, woodwork, cabinet fronts. Cleanliness was disappointing.

Great place to stay

We love how close it is to the beach. Also we love how close it is to the restaurants. It is easy to unload our stuff from the car because of the shopping carts. It is a great place to stay.

Great place! Very easy access to beach. Views are amazing. The grilling area is very useful and I highly recommend you grill while staying. Very spacious. Will definitely be back on the property again.

Great location and beach access. Elevators were fast and all working, which can’t be said for many other condos we have rented. Unit was nice and as described. Would definitely book in this condo again. Easy access to restaurants and beach!

Fabulous place

Rented for Mother’s Day weekend for the family. We had the best time Super close to everything!!!! The staff in guest services could not have been nicer. Our condo was roomy, clean and comfy. Our 14 month old grandson enjoyed the pool and the beach area. We will definitely book this condo again.

First time at Gulf Shores

This was our first time at Gulf Shores and we LOVED the condo at the San Carlos! The balcony over looking the beach was amazing, the kitchen had all the utensils needed, bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, the keypad to get in was very easy to use and the condo was walking distance from many great bars/restaurants. Would definitely rent this condo again!

Would definitely stay here again

Excellent location - easy walk to many places to eat and shop. Access to the beach is so easy with no stairs & great place to clean up to avoid dragging sand back up to the condo. The pool seems to have all new furniture and possibly newly painted - very nice (nicer than it looks in the pictures). The condo itself is a great layout - bathroom for every bedroom. The kitchen & family room are very open with great flow & plenty of space to spread out. The balcony on this fifth floor was my favorite - excellent view of beach & provided shelter from the wind/weather (sometimes cool in march). The kitchen was well stocked and numerous additional appliances tucked in the cabinets. There is also a wet bar - we set up a coffee station there for convenience. Also used the work out room - excellent for a condo (better than most hotels). Plenty of parking (be sure to get your $50 pass when you get there - i did read that so i was prepared). Overall excellent condo & property. I would definitely stay there again!

Ready to book again

I booked this place for my mom and a few of her friends for a long birthday weekend. Within five minutes of their arrival she was already asking me to book again for a few months out. They are in their late 60s, and had no issue with finding the location checking in or anything else. The only issue that she said they had was that they could not connect to the Wi-Fi code, but who needs Wi-Fi when you’re at the beach?! Thank you so much for opening your wonderful home and sharing it with us. We will be returning soon.

Good location but…

The linens provided were terrible, one of the closet doors was off it’s rail, and, although reported the day we checked in, it was never fixed. The linens were terrible and everything provided was the cheapest possible stuff.

Too many repairs

No electricity to the outlets in one room for three night, which meant no tv in that bedroom. We were asked to check the breaker. Not our job. Also, not the problem. The repair person stated that at least the next occupant would have electricity and TV. Not what we wanted to hear. The toilet in that room also continued to run from Sunday until Thursday. We were asked to turn off the water. Again, not our job and we shouldn’t have to be without a bathroom. The overhead light in the same room was missing it’s cover leaving a bare bulb the only light in that room until Thursday. The lights over the bar were flickering and Ellie came and removed the bulbs on Monday and never returned. This made it difficult to play games with the kids. The shower in the hall leaked and was repaired immediately because the dry wall was bubbling and they thought it may run down to the lower floor. All of my grandson’s items were soaked with water. Waiting for repair people was a pain and should not be something we should have to do on vacation. All of these items should have been checked before we arrived.

Great location and Beach access

Let me first say that the condo and view was great and easy access to the beach! The only negatives was the condo was not ready by check in time. The condo wasn’t that clean and beds were not yet made. They forgot to leave us the parking pass and bracelets but quickly brought them by. The air conditioner could not keep up with keeping the area cool even with us keeping the door closed so it would run. So we got kinda hot at night due to the air conditioning sensors thinking we weren’t there so we didn’t sleep that great both nights. Couch was way more comfortable to lay an than the four beds in this unit. When I asked about a early check in I kept getting the run around about a email from “housekeeping” that we never got. A easy no we don’t allow a early check in would of been ok. Then the last thing is when I mentioned that we didn’t receive our parking pass I mentioned how the condo looked when we got there. Didn’t seem like they were really worried about it. So that was a little frustrating.

Maintenance was non-responsive

On the first day of our stay I called vacasa requesting maintenance fix a closet door that was off the hinges and the living room TV was not working. No one ever came the first day. Second day I called again but ended up on hold so we communicated our problems via text. Each day we called or texted and each day no one showed up or ever even called. We were assured the last time we called that the problem was escalated to a manager, but still no maintenance help. The building is nice, location is convenient, parking is sufficient. This unit however needs a little TLC - closets were cluttered with old pillows, all the lamps were unplugged, guest closet was off the hinges, and the remotes were mixed up.
