Located just steps from the beach, this 11th-floor condo boasts a comfortable and casual interior with plenty of vacation perks like access to an outdoor pool, and sauna. This Gulf-front condo is also near plenty of local attractions and activities including the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Gulf State Park Pier, an amusement park, golfing, and dining.

After a full day of exploring the area or lounging by the zero-entry pool that overlooks the Gulf, come home to relax on the sofa and enjoy the cable TV. When the group gets hungry, take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen. Eat meals or play games together at the dining table. Rest up in the tranquil bedrooms and get ready for another day of vacation bliss. Start your next day off right with coffee on the balcony where you can enjoy the fresh air and spectacular water views. There’s something for everyone when you stay at San Carlos.

The condo was bigger than we expected! Very spacious and clean! We loved the big balcony and the view was incredible! We would definitely stay here again! Our only issue was that we wish there had been more kitchen and bathroom towels. Overall, a wonderful stay!

This space worked really well for our group. It is a great layout, size, and location. There are companies renting out chairs on the beach in front of the building if you would like to rent. However, there were a few small issues that we wish we had known in advance to plan. The coffee pot and coffee maker don't match/fit (they're different models/companies) so were were not able to use it. We called vacasa when we first arrived and they said that someone local would follow up, but they never did. There was a Keurig as well if you have pods. Also, the blankets on the beds are extremely thin - if we'd known, we would have brought some throw blankets. Not all of the outlets in the condo worked. Also, we would've appreciated some extra trash bags and instructions on where to bring trash, since we filled up the one bag provided quickly. Finally, there was a very odd setting on the TV - a pop up appeared after a few minutes saying it was going switch to Bluey every time we tried to use it. Overall, it was still great and I would return but wish we had known these things (and known how to fix the TV).

We loved the condo! We felt like everything was convenient in the condo to getting onto the beach to having dinner. The beds, floors and bathrooms were clean. I think the condo would benefit from a more detailed clean. The baseboards looked like they had never been wiped down & someone must have put bait in the fridge/freezer bc it smelt awful. We couldn’t use our ice bc our ice absorbed the smell along with some other things in the fridge. There was also trash left behind under the beds. The jacuzzi tub was clean, but once the water reached the jets without being turned on green/black debris came out. So we were unable to enjoy the tub. We loved the condo & what it had to offer. We will definitely be back, but home to be a little cleaner next time.

Overall good. Some dishes were dirty and had to be cleaned before use. Insufficient supplies (trash bags, paper towels, dish and laundry soap) provided for a four day stay so we bought our own and left hopefully for the next person. Condo was comfortable and clean but not very modernized compared to others where we’ve stayed in San Carlos before.

Great view, lacking amenities

The place itself is beautiful. 3 bedrooms, 3 baths for the win and a view of the ocean from the large balcony! However, it’s definitely no frills. The toilet paper is cheap and thin. The kitchen was not stocked. The coffee pot and coffee maker didn’t match (different brands which made it difficult to fit the pot in). It didn’t come with anything other than bare bones. Had to request hot pads which came the day after I needed them. The bedding is super thin, no comforter. And they don’t provide beach towels, umbrellas, or beach chairs. I was told to use a local rental for these items which was ok but when I arrived realized I could rent directly on the beach which would have been more convenient. Overall, it was a great property these things aside. The company (Vacasa) is not located locally so when you message them you get a different, non local person each time. They did let us check out 30 minutes late. If you visit, just make sure you bring all the essentials.

Issues

No body soap in the shower and shampoo bottle so small it didn’t last the trip. Toilet clogged and when Vacassa was notified, they never sent anyone to fix it. We asked at the front desk and they said they can’t do anything for the Vacassa units. So after a day waiting for Vacassa to send someone, we just went to the store and got a plunger ourselves. Definitely not top of the line service or worth the high dollar we paid.

We truly enjoyed our home away from home

We would definitely stay at this location again. The location is perfect. The condo was very nice and very clean.. enjoy being on the beach and not having a far walk. Walking distance to restaurants and some shopping.

Not bad but could be better.

Over all visit was good . I would rate this condo with a 4 if the carpet was clean and the main bedroom mattress didn’t seem old and not supportive. Everything else was good and everything in the kitchen worked great. The carpet is only in the bedrooms. The condo building was clean and it was quiet.

needs work

master bath shower needs a lot of work, shoe molding throughout is banged up. Master bed was terribly uncomfortable; the side near the bathroom leaned. remotes needed batteries. Tvs needed updating. Location was good and it was pretty clean.

Nice condo

Nice condo, great location. Just bring your own hand towels, washcloths and blankets, if you expect chilly nights and want to hear the waves. Other than that it was great even had an ice maker so we didn’t have to buy bags of ice.
