The view and accommodations were wonderful! Had everything we needed or wanted. Restaurants in the area are great! The huge deck and beautiful view were wonderful, especially since the weather didn’t cooperate! We’ll be back!

Beautiful view and relaxing atmosphere

We enjoyed being able to take in the beautiful surroundings from the balcony and we loved the spaciousness of the condo. We had six people and there was plenty of room to spread out and not be crammed but also have enough room for us to enjoy time together as a group. We enjoyed the large dining room table that allowed us to sit and have a nice meal together. Having each room having its own bathroom was very nice. Everyone slept well and loved the accommodations. Definitely recommend this condo for the value and the views.

Roomy with a relaxing view!

This condo was great. First off, the view was stunning! The gorgeous sand with sparkling blue water was peaceful to wake up to every morning. The condo itself is very roomy. I Loved the space in each room and bathroom. Plenty of towels for everyone, and a well stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. I would definitely rent this condo again. The only tricky part was the elevator code. Make sure you type in the code leaving a pause between each number.

Roaches

We stayed in this condo for two nights. The first night we got in late and went to bed, no problems. The second night we came home from dinner and my daughter noticed a bug on the kitchen counter. When we turned the lights on we noticed about a dozen roaches on the countertops, cabinets, and crawling on the backsplash. I immediately took videos and pictures and contacted vacasa. They said they would alert the local team and they would get back to me shortly. I never heard back from them and we left early the next morning. I will not be booking with vacasa or staying at this condo ever again.

Horrible experience

Very little to love except the view! Dirty sheets, broken appliances, non working outlets, being locked out of the condo because code didn’t work-twice!, indoor pools heater broke, not much else to like!

Place was fine

The condo was fine. Only one elevator was working and the working one was down for 4 hours. We were able to use the stairs but there were others that couldn't. They couldn't change cloths and missed dinner. Only problem we had.

Nice for the price

Unit was large and roomy. There are a few items in need of repair, but nothing major. Great views. Entry gate keypad a bit tricky to get your vehicle turned so you can reach the keypad. Broken outlet in master bath. Pantry and master closet doors need replacing/repair. Oven temperature display too dim to read, microwave door handle cracked and soon will tear off. Very spacious unit and great views from the 7th floor. A little tricky using the elevator code. You have to press the buttons in a slow and methodical way. Too quick or too slow, and you will have to try again.

Perfect dates for a relaxing family vacation

The condo was conveniently located and had easy beach access. A handicapped family member was able to use the boardwalk with no problems since there were no stairs. The unit was clean and comfortable. The mattresses and pillows could stand for an upgrade as could the dishwasher. We had to hand wash dishes to get them clean after they had been machine washed. The balcony needs a good scrubbing. The floor and sliding door tracks look almost like heavy smokers had stayed before us and their ashes and spills coated everything. However, it could just be from the salty sandy air too. Overall it was a great week and a great location that wasn’t crowded.

Just don’t stay here

To say I was disappointed is light. The only saving grace here was the view. The door code did not work. We called. They changed the door code 7 times and still did not work. Someone had to stay in the condo throughout so everyone else could get back in. Elevators : one was broken the entire time. During the day, the elevator would take at the minimum 5 minutes to get to your floor. WiFi: did not work the whole time. We called. No one called back. It never worked. Kitchen: roaches in the silverware drawer and in the pots and pans cabinet. The toilet in the master bath looked like it hadn’t been replaced since 1980. Cracked. Chipped and not something you’d expect to see after paying this much money. Ice maker did not make any ice the whole time and we had to purchase ice several times. Shout out to Winn Dixie for their support. They’re amazing. The beach: while gorgeous, if you rent chairs, you’re stuck behind people with 6 chairs and 6 umbrellas and you can’t even see anything. The beach service is amazing and the guys there did everything they could to make sure we were taken care of. I had an amazing view my very last day. All in all. If you want a pleasant and stress free experience, don’t stay at this condo. Or any of the beach colony condos.

Stress Release

After finally getting the correct door code after check in time, we were thankful the A/C was working well in our room. The condo was bright and clean. Thankful for the Fridg Ice maker was full and ready to use. No coat hangers, but we always bring our own, so no problem there. Box fan in closet did not work, but we always bring our own and once again, no problem. Beds were nice and clean; good mattresses. Loved the desk in the window. Nice hard wood dining table for playing cards. Big stocked kitchen. Everything was large and clean. Excellent views and balcony. Hard to get sliding doors open but also created a good seal against the wind. Pools and hot tube were very nice. and walk way to beach was a small shot without steps, so easy for beach wagon. I would definitely stay again. Elevator codes took some time to figure out. Gate security was very friendly and helpful. Excellent weather, beach chair guys were nice and friendly even though we had our own chairs and umbrellas, they offered to help.

Gorgeous view ! But … Great condo but needs some upgrades. The bed my children slept in broke the first night. And before you think kids , my girls are 15 and 21. They were asleep and the bed just broke. Luckily it was fixed the next day. The washing machine has a rust ring around it and made horrible noises while it was going. There are three coffee machines. Only one worked — had to go buy different coffee. Not a big deal, but still. Literally every light and appliance was unplugged on our arrival. There were 8 different remotes for the stereo/tv. None of them had batteries and had to ask that someone bring them. The WiFi did not work. At all. Overall we had an amazing stay here. But we won’t stay in this condo again. We’ve stayed in Beach Colony before and look forward to staying again.

Unexceptional

Too many codes. Unit was being sold and way to many interruptions regarding a need to have a realtor see unit. Numerous items in unit needs to be replaced and fixed. Will never stay at this complex again.

Fooled me with the pictures

Great location but more of a dorm room feel than the elegant unit we stayed at in the same building on the 15th floor. Texted back to property managers with no reply to fix wifi which was non existent. Definitely zoom in on the pictures next time.

Great Gulf Views!

Loved the Perdido Key area. Not overly crowded and easy to get to the stores/restaurants quickly. Beautiful views from the balcony and beach with easy beach access. You can watch the Blue Angels practice from the balcony. The condo was as-listed but did have some areas for improvement. If you have a 4 PM check-in, the lock will take your passcode starting at 4:15, so don't rush to be punctual. The dryer still had wet towels when we finally got in, and some of the floors still had sand/hair on them. It also would have been nice to replace one of the two coffee makers with a blender. Overall, it had a very corporate rental feel, which it is, so it's fine. Just not the same attention to detail as we've experienced with other rentals that had a single owner.

Beautiful Location

This was our first trip to Perdido Key. The entire family enjoyed the beauty of the area and the laid back feel of the area. The condo was as pictured. We loved the beautiful balcony and view. Our family had plenty of room.
