Make your way back up from the beach each afternoon to toss your swimsuits in the washer/dryer, lounge outside on the ocean-facing balcony, and choose something fun to watch on one of the flatscreen TVs (in the living room and each bedroom). Other at-home comforts include central air conditioning, free WiFi, and a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher.

Situated mere steps from the ocean, Fountainhead Towers offers access to community amenities that include a beachfront swimming pool, a tennis court, and a sundeck. You'll be practically across the road from the Gold Coast Mall, a matter of steps from restaurants and groceries, three-quarters of a mile south of Northside Park, and only two miles south of the Fenwick Island Lighthouse and tax-free shopping across the Maryland-Delaware state line.

Two sofa beds provide extra sleeping spaces.
No pets and no smoking please (including on the oceanfront balconies and in other common areas).
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 12.

Served it’s purpose

We have been vacationing in OC for many many years and this is a property that I will not return to. Being difficult to find a condo that rents for 10 consecutive days I came across this property and thought I would give it a try. The unit is not well maintained at all. Chipped paint, old furniture, falling window coverings - you can tell that it has not been updated at all. Balcony furniture was plastic chairs and several were cracked and no furniture at all on the bayside balcony, which was disappointing. We did see a mouse one night (it was a one time thing and that can not be controlled but this is the first time in all our years vacationing that we saw one) While there we had someone come to the unit who said he rented directly through owner for the remainder of our week - he was very nice about it and it wasn’t an issue but still happened. With that being said I do not plan on coming back to this unit next year. I will, however say that Vacasa was wonderful, their communication was great, check in was an easy process and I will be renting through them again next summer. Overall the condo served its purpose and we had a great vacation but I would recommend finding a different unit

The check in process was a mess. You do need to go to the local office and wait for keys. They would not open the door until 330- we had about 50 people waiting. The man told us we were lucky he opened up early. Super condescending. The condo itself was filthy and in need of a major deep clean and upgrades. They did send a cleaning crew after I emailed and texted photos. Broken sliding glass door with wood frame cracked was not addressed until Thursday- maintenance showed up at 840 and let himself in because we did not answer and asked why we didn't hear him knocking (Sleeping!?) He looked at the door and left. Never saw him again and the door was still broken when we left. Overall, not a good experience.

Poorly maintained

Electrical issues causing lights to go out, outlets not working, sparks from outlets. Electrician found wire not screwed into breaker (both appeared to have heat damage) and wires out of outlets. Water damage from dryer condensation. Dryer died - was working then died. Vent could be blocked up due to excessive moisture / condensation near washer /dryer. Master BR - had extension cord across walkway to power lamp. Yea that’s not safety hazard- add an outlet. Master bathroom- faucet would leak unless knobs in right spot Balcony door broken - does not close - no stops AC needs maintenance- unable to cool room until night - other rooms do not have this problem Beautiful deck / cheap plastic outdoor furniture (half broken) Refrigerator no door rails - you don’t appreciate how much the door can hold until you can’t use it. Floor tile made it always feel gritty even after cleaning (and it was - sand gets trapped until your feet pick it up) On good note beds were not horrible but old window blinds allowed hallway light to leak through. Overall this room has great potential but slumlord mentality is the biggest detriment. Electrical issues alone should be reason to have entire unit inspected.

nice location; could have been cleaned better

we used to stay at the Fountainhead for years in a one bedroom. The kids were older so we tried this two bedroom. the size was great but the floors were dirty as were the pots and pans. the quilts were old but we didn't use them; the sheets seemed clean. I would recommend but know that you are not walking into a pristine room like you might expect.
