Wherever your journey takes you, we welcome you to Elkin.
Our beautiful rental has been a true labor of love. The original home dates back to the 1940’s and was built by hand by the original owner. Every morning he would wake up, walk up the small hill (his original home is the small property on the back lot) and work on his new home. Rather than destroy his work, we gave her a much needed makeover.
From the moment you arrive with the freedom of self-check in you’ll find that our home’s open concept allows for everyone to be together with comfortable seating for all. The living room features a large sectional while the entertainment center houses a smart tv, board games and a fireplace insert for a cozy fall/winter feeling.
Cook a meal in our chefs kitchen- complete with brand new stainless steel appliances, double ovens, pots, pans and a variety of hidden appliances. Kitchen basics include dish soap, spices and coffee/tea basics.
Relax on the back porch bird watching or with a cold beverage or cup of coffee. You might even catch a glimpse of our local deer herd!
Each bedroom features a memory foam queen sized bed and flat panel smart tv and ceiling fan.
The primary bedroom also features an en-suite double headed rain shower and double sink vanity with the best makeup mirror lighting. Ever.
The second bathroom includes a tub shower combo, perfect for bath time babies.
We invite you to create new memories with your friends and family as you explore all that Elkin and the surrounding Yadkin Valley has to offer. Enjoy wineries, breweries, local farmers markets, gorgeous trails, kayaking and many unique antique and artisan shops.
Elkin Municipal park is 1 minute down the hill with tennis courts, a community pool, picnic shelters, playground, stocked trout river and the E and A trail. A gorgeous easy walk perfect for fall mornings.
Only 1.5 miles away from our historic downtown, you can enjoy local and national musicians at the Reeves Theater, brick oven pizza and craft beer at Angry Troll Brewing, antiques and local artisans.

Beautifully Updated Property

My wife and I booked this property in Elkin to share with another couple as a home base for a weekend visting wineries. This is about as convenient as you could ask for in regards to proximity to the surrounding vinyards. We were extremely comfortable in this home, and the hosts were careful to stock the home with everything we needed, right down to our preferred coffee creamer! They don't skimp on quality anywhere. Amazing towels, bath products, coffee, beds, appliances and even paper towels! The hosts communicated continually and were fast to reply to any questions we had about the area and amenities. Checking in was a breeze and checkout directions were extremely simple. This is one of our new favorite areas to visit for a quick getaway and we will definitely be visting this property again if its available for our next trip. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER!!

A tornado, a wedding, a weekend to remember! Out-of-state family members arrived late on a rainy Thursday. Everybody commented on how clean and nicely decorated the house was. Grandma, who is hard to please, couldn't say enough good things about her mattress. The hostess allowed us to use the garage to unload suitcases due to the incessant rain. The rain continued through Friday and was punctuated by a small tornado that touched down in the neighborhood! While large trees fell on houses and cars and bits and pieces of random things appeared in odd places, our family members' greatest burden was lack of electricity. Thankfully, nobody in the neighborhood seemed to be hurt. After the storm passed, the bride and groom held their wedding ceremony late Friday afternoon at a local vineyard. Can you believe that about 30 minutes before the wedding, the sun came out and there was a DOUBLE rainbow!! (Not kidding) The next morning I received a phone call from the hostess offering us space to hang out at her downtown restaurant since she had electricity there and we could charge our phones. Her hospitality didn't end there! She was very generous and took care of us. It's difficult to get family members all together at the same time. We were so touched that she decided to make a difference and turn a bad situation into a good one. She went over and above our expectations! In addition, we were impressed with this whole community's hospitality. We were strangers and yet found that people were welcoming and helpful at the grocery store, florist, vineyard and downtown shops. Unique restaurants, shops, and vineyards are all nearby. We are so thankful beyond words for our hostess and her contribution toward our weekend to remember!

Awesome House- Great Location

We absolutely loved our stay at this house, it was very clean, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was the one of the best equipped kitchens weve been to! The host even left a box of chocolates and sparkling wine for us!!! We loved the space and the location! The host was super accommodating and very nice! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!! We definitely will stay there again if were in the area!
