Beach Retreat # 2 en Sunny Beach

casa frente al mar encantador, con grandes vistas del agua y el acceso directo a la playa se encuentra dentro de la comunidad de la playa más cercana a Moody Gardens y el parque acuático Schlitterbahn!

Esta maravillosa casa cuenta con una sola planta nivel una vez en el interior además de una serie de comodidades que hacen de esta una gran opción para una familia pequeña o una pareja en busca de una escapada romántica. Una planta libre se extiende por la longitud de la casa y cuenta con una pared de ventanas mostrando grandes vistas sin obstáculos del Golfo.

El salón cuenta con una cómoda zona de estar con una gran pantalla LCD combo TV / DVD, y un comedor abierto a la cocina con encimera de granito. Los pisos de madera se ejecutan a través de la casa con pisos de mármol travertino en el baño actualizado.

Beach Retreat 4-6 cómodamente con ropa de cama de calidad. Un dormitorio tiene una cama de matrimonio y el otro dormitorio para 3 entre las literas completas e individuales. El salón cuenta con una gran silla que se despliega en una cama doble para una persona pequeña. También hay una cama plegable doble.

Si usted necesita para mantenerse "conectado", mientras que en la playa, la playa de los refugios cuentan con acceso de alta velocidad a Internet, cable, lavadora / secadora, y una parrilla de gas.

La cubierta le permite disfrutar de tomar el sol, relajarse o ver a los delfines en el Golfo. Cuando esté listo para la playa, que es sólo pasos de distancia!

Esta casa es perro amable y tiene un vallado en el patio para que contenga los niños y los perros.

The cutest little house with the best view! We loved our stay at this beachfront cabin which was well stocked, with super-comfy beds, a convenient washer and dryer and a porch to take in the ocean views. Can’t recommend enough.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

Cute little cottage RIGHT ON THE BEACH! The location of the property is by far its best quality. Gate leads directly onto the sand and waves. Deck with rockers is also a great place to enjoy the scenery. Owner was super friendly and responsive. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

We enjoyed a week at this cute beachfront house. It had everything we needed & was so convenient to be just steps away from the beach. Loved loved loved the partially covered deck with continuous breezes & the sound of ocean waves!

Loved Our Stay!

This is such a beautiful beach house with the perfect location! House is right on the beach with a fenced yard and close to town. Beach felt private in the day and was quiet at night. Beds were comfy and the house was clean. The host was so nice and had great communication. We are hoping to stay there again on our next trip to beautiful Galveston! Five stars for sure!

2nd Stay Just Wonderful

This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Clean and comfortable home, with everything we needed. We are so grateful to be able to bring our dogs and we all love the big fenced yard. The beach was beautiful and quiet the week before Christmas. Close to delicious shrimp and fried mushrooms at Seahorse Grill, and the Festival,of Lights at Moody Gardens. Not too far from the Strand, Opera House, Fishermans Warf, and my favorite Brews Brothers burger! We wish the shower water would get a little hotter, for winter stays especially. Also this time there were pretty bad sticker burrs between outside the gate on the path to the beach - maybe some stepping stones would help. We had a wonderful visit, and will definitely be back!

Beautiful Location

This property is an excellent place for a family vacation. It is small but our family of four was very comfortable there. The deck is large and partially covered and access right on the beach is second to none!!!

Repeated Vacationers.

This was our second time staying at this property. We enjoyed it so much that we've already booked for next July and October. Love how close to the water the house is and how close to everything you need in town, yet it feels like you are far away from everything in a quiet neighborhood. Love the fact that the windows are bare, makes the view of the natural beach and the water amazing. Judy is a great Host.

Location, location, location!

Perfect size house for my husband and myself and two dogs. Fenced yard was great. We spent plenty of time on the beach that was just steps away. The porch and rocking chairs were great to relax and enjoy the view on.

Beach vacation

We enjoyed our stay. Judy was great to work with, very kind. She texted with updates. She had lots of items needed for the beach (I.e. chairs, toys, canopy, towels, ect.) The house was just as it was posted. The fenced in yard was perfect for young kids and a dog. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful House!

The view and beach were amazing as well as the house! It was perfect for our family of 4! The kitchen had everything needed and the beach chairs and toys were an added bonus! We enjoyed most mornings sitting in the rocking chairs on the deck. The beach was not busy at all and just a few steps from the house. An all around excellent place to stay!

Perfect vacation home for a small family.

We love how close the house is to the water, we just sit on the covered deck and enjoy the view and the sound of the Gulf. Close enough to go swim and come back without the hassle of the sand. We also love the bare windows, no drapes and no blinds, except in the bedrooms. Makes it easier to see everything, while enjoying the sunlight from within the house. Less than 10min drive to assortment of restaurants and entertainment.

Wonderful Location

We had a lovely visit at this adorable beach cottage overlooking the ocean. It’s in a great location, closer to town but away from the crowds. The beach was rarely busy and most of the time we had it to ourselves. Especially appreciated the large fenced yard for our dogs - so convenient. We didn’t see any bugs inside at all and had plenty of supplies for cleaning up after ourselves and the dogs. Our only suggestion would be to clear out some of the clutter to make space for guests items inside cabinets, closets and on shelves. Also the water in shower gets warm enough to be comfortable but not completely hot for long enough. We certainly enjoyed this place and would definitely return!

Probably one of the best quality homes we’ve ever stayed along the gulf, a bit of animal hair around and a bunch of left over stuff in the fridge, but a great house, good location, gets busy on the weekend tho, would stay again

My wife and I absolutely loved being front row to the beach. Just for enough away from the public entrance to feel secluded. Very close to all amenities of going into town. The entire property has great fencing to keep me in your pets. Do not let the small size fool you everything was very spaciousAnd very relaxing

Sunny Beach for Christmas

We had an excellent vacation at Sunny Beach beach house for Christmas! Location is about 7 miles out from the pier and all of the busy-ness, so not so crowded but still close enough in to get to things, which is how I prefer it. The house is right on the beach, front row, the view is unimpeded. The deck has some nice rocking chairs for sitting and enjoying the view and breezes. The house itself is great for a small family. We had everything we needed there- the house had bedding, towels, dishes, pots and pans, and beachchairs along with kids sand toys. The king sized bed was comfortable. My big dogs loved the fenced yard. The AC, ceiling fans and heat worked well. The beach in front of the house is semi- private, it's next to the public beach/fishing/parking area, so it wasn't as crowded as the public beach was. There is so much history and things to do in Galveston! There were complimentary tickets at the house to go see the Dolphin tour in the bay and take a tour of the tall ship the Elise, which we did. Thank you Judy for letting us stay at your beach house for Christmas!!

I am currently the Sunny Beach HOA President, and love our small community, with a sand dune restoration project going.We purchased our little beach bungalow for the great neighborhood, and the proximity to all of the activities and historic district that Galveston offers. Our Beach Retreat is also known by many repeat guests as Athen's Nest and is perfect for that quiet, romantic getaway. Bring family, friends or just come by yourself to enjoy nature and some 'down' time to relax on your own.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our home is great for just staying put and relaxing! We absolutely love to watch the ever changing gulf views. The water is clear blue and flat one day and the next it is choppy with large waves. Our home has unobstructed views and a great place to watch for porpoise, shrimping boats, sailing regattas (they sail right past our home), fabulous birds fly over in various formations, shelling, watching people ride down the beach on horseback, beautiful sunrises over the water plus scenic full moons.

If you're in the mood for more action, head into historic Galveston for fun restaurant dining, visiting the historic Strand, Moody Gardens, sea turtle exhibit, museums, watch the large ships come into port.....a ton of activity to choose from only minutes from our Beach Retreat.

Many remember our Beach Retreat as Athen's Nest and it is perfect for couples and small groups. For larger gatherings, it is perfect to rent with the adjacent Beach Retreat next door (owned by our good neighbor) for additional space. Both homes work perfectly together!
