Incredible house! So comfortable and steps away from the beach! Made our trip so enjoyable to be able to see the beach from the living room as it rained on and off a few days we were there… didn’t feel like we missed out on any beach time! House is stocked with everything you can think off! We will book this same spot next summer!

This was a last minute trip for us and I couldn’t be happier. We are a family of five and had more than enough room for all of us. First off, this house is beautiful! It’s been completely remodeled and they did a great job. The house is appointed with anything you could reasonably expect to need for your stay. The kitchen and bathrooms are absolutely gorgeous.Very “beach” vibe. Second, we were hesitant to book because we normally only rent houses right on the beach. This house might as well be on the beach. You are literally 15 extra steps to get onto the beach than you would be if you booked a front row house. Lastly, Amy is an absolute pleasure to work with. The night before we were supposed to leave, I was trying to organize everything to load and be ready to check out the next day, when I realized we couldn’t find the key to the house. I had to call Amy and tell her that I was having difficulty finding it. Her response, “I’m just glad y’all have had a great time”. Come to find out, my nine-year-old daughter had hid the keys because she thought that if we couldn’t find them that we would get to stay there forever. If that doesn’t tell you what kind of house this is, then I don’t know what will. Can’t wait to try and make it back down there again!

Wonderful stay!

The home was beautiful decorated and perfectly located by the beach. We also felt very safe as there was a constable sitting in his truck as you entered the community.

Beautiful House on the Beach

Our family of five loved staying here! The house is beautifully decorated, fully stocked, has fantastic views (even with a house in front of it), and only a few steps away from the beach in a very quite neighborhood. We saved this property to stay here again. Highly recommend!

This property is amazing and so comfortable if you are looking to get away and enjoy the sounds of the ocean! Amy is the most superb host and always available if needed. The property was not missing a beat and all amenities especially for cooking! I highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning in the near future!!

Perfect stay

Perfect close location to the beach, which made it so easy with kids. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and it is so much more adorable in person! We will be staying here again if we are ever in town! Thank you to the lovely hosts!

Annual family vacation

Cozy and Welcoming

This lovely beach home is perfect for 8-10 people. You can enjoy the beach view when sitting on the deck or looking out the windows in the great room or 2 of the bedrooms. The neighborhood is family friendly. Perfect for a family outing on the beach. Would recommend staying here. Pawpaw, Grammy & fam.

Great place for schools out break!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was exactly as pictured and clean. The beach was a short walk away, and it’s a quick drive to other beach areas if you choose.

Perfect getaway

My family (6 adults) stayed at Oceanfront Beach home and it was the best time!. The beach is close by, we got to enjoy morning walks on the beach and sit outside to enjoy the sound of the waves in the evening. There is plenty of space to have everyone gather and spend time. The kitchen is spacious and had plenty of cookware, appliances and utensils, we needed to prepare our meals at the house. The rooms were perfect size for relaxing and resting. Neighborhood is quiet and good location from Seawall and the Strand. The process for checking in and checking out was convenient. Communication was great! I appreciate that every question I had was answered promptly by our Host, Amy. I definitely recommend staying here.

Super cute, relaxing beach cottage

I do not even know where to begin, as there are so many things to say about this lovely cottage. It has been remodeled and has every amenity imaginable. Super cute inside. Great shower, comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms. You have a very short walk across the grass to the beach, Great beach views from the bedrooms and living room. Very clean, quiet, safe private beach area with only property owners and guests. The only people that drive on it are police or park employees (due to a Galveston ordinance you have to bring your chairs, beach umbrella, and canopies in every night or they will pick them up and you cannot get them back. I learned the hard way, but I respect and understand this because that is why the beaches are so pristine. The property owner is very accessible and very accommodating. We will definitely rent this precious cottage again!

Incredible Experience!

The house and the views are absolutely stunning. Everything you need for cooking is provided. You literally walk off the grass and onto the sand. The beach had very few people on it each day, so it was peaceful. The house is only a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Galveston, but far enough out to be quiet. Absolutely wonderful vacation.

Wonderful family beach trip

Beautiful house with everything you need just steps from the beach. Kitchen is well stocked for anything you need for meal preparation. We rent in Galveston every year for our family vacation and this house is now our favorite. Will be excited to rent again.

Adult family vacay

This house was the perfect beach escape for our family. We were traveling with our two adults daughters and appreciated that the guest bedrooms had queen/king beds. Also, the kitchen is gorgeous with tons of supplies. Location to the beach was perfect and community was very private. Thank you for a fantastic week!

3 things that was negative, but would probably do it again

1.. AC keep increasing at night and day. We had to get up about 3 or 4 times during the night to lower temperature because it would increase. 2. Our last day, before we had a chance to log off our Netflix and HBO, the internet/Wi-Fi was turned off at 5am. The reason we believe it was turned off, was because it would have notice there were no signal and to contact internet/cable company. 3. I was expecting to have more frontage and ocean view. 4.on the bright side, the house was very comfortable. 5. The small Dove items was a plus. 6. The shutters were great. We tried to find a name on them because we want to buy some for our home. 7. The large wall mounted tv were nice.

Welcome to our beach home! We love Galveston and all it has to offer. Beautiful beaches, Victorian homes with a downtown rich with history. Visit the Pleasure Pier with your kids and grand kids. Go to the Strand for live music, friendly people and great food.
Museums, a palace and ghost tours to visit too.
