Recently upgraded, Unit 323 boasts brand-new carpeting and numerous modern features. This spacious one-bedroom, two-bathroom condo is well-lit and offers a breathtaking oceanfront view, stretching south along the Kona Coast. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you might need for an extended stay. Enjoy a stunning ocean view while sipping a cup of Kona coffee in the morning or a pauhana in the afternoon. Let the soothing sound of the sea lull you to sleep. An elevator conveniently connects the ground floor to the unit. Amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, perfect for video chatting or Zoom meetings, making it an ideal choice for remote workers. This is a minimum 30-day rental.

Kona by the Sea is an absolute oceanfront property and features a large freshwater swimming pool with a generous sunbathing area. Additionally, there's the Historic Alii Saltwater Pool, conveniently located right on the waterfront. Onsite amenities include a spa and a barbeque area.

This unit comes equipped with beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, and a small cooler for guests' use. While some snorkel gear may have been left by previous guests, we don't provide snorkel gear. Non-fitting snorkel gear can ruin the fun, so it's best to rent your own equipment during your stay.

Unbelievable Location and Staff

We stayed for a week, and the place was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were maintained immaculately, with the pool, barbecue, and sand areas being cleaned daily. It was a great location and great stay.

The perfect place to relax

The first minute we arrived, we ended up on the balcony looking at the waves for an hour.... This place is perfect! Right over the water, with a big clean room, and everything we could possibly want. The kitchen is bigger than my own house, and it has everything. (even the view) Gigantic bedroom and living room. Did I mention that they take care of everything - We walked along the beach, watched the surfers, big swimming pool. We are coming back here for sure.

We miss it.

The place has very nice ocean view. The condo is well maintained and has everything we need. The location is convenient and close to the down town. It is a great place. We all love it. Hope one day we will be back.

A Perfect Stay

Everything we need is right here! A big kitchen, our own private balcony right over the beach, and lots to do. And the location is a pleasant walk into town, and there are is a farmer's market across the street on weekends. They are very thoughtful, and took care of everything. We have already made plans for our next stay in the winter.

The perfect spot

The amenities are so worth it! Everything I wanted/needed. The unit was spacious, with a spectacular view at all times. Didn't want to leave. Kitchen and bathrooms well updated. Carpet a little old but can't complain- exceeded my expectations.

Serene above the ocean waves

This place has a daily feast of events on the ocean. The surf is breaking right outside the balcony, and there are always the fish and the boogie boarders. As close to an escape as I have ever found. The unit is really spacious for two, with a really nice and well-supplied kitchen. And the internet is so good I was able to do video edits directly from my server at home and conduct a production meeting from my laptop! We are definitely coming back to this special place!

BEST OCEANFRONT WITH EVERYTHING

This place really surprised us - everything is there looking right over the sand and out to sea! We had a BIG rainstorm one afternoon, and enjoyed it from our own private lanai with a few birds that stayed with us and we all watched from our dry perch. This is close in to everything at Kailua Kona, and everything is so quiet - all you hear is the surf and the birds. There are generous spaces for everything from projects and reading to a really nice kitchen setup. We have already booked our stay next year, they gave us the same deal.

Tropical paradise

This condo was amazing, with a stunning view of the ocean! The suite is tastefully and comfortably furnished and has all the extras including all beach accessories you could want. As well having 2 bathrooms was such a treat, no sharing required! The only issue we had with the shower head was rectified within hours of us contacting the property management company. This property is super well maintained on a daily basis, from the pool, to the bbqs, to the beach chairs, to ground maintenance. Sunsets are amazing, and the sound of the surf is so relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying here!

More than meets the eye

We just finished a wonderful visit to the Kona coast, and this place has everything that we were hoping for, and more. This is a BIG unit with a lot of space, and a big kitchen as well, and its own covered balcony. And everything is really clean - you can tell when the owner looks after things. The first day we arrived, we spent over an hour watching the waves come up on the tide pools and the surfers and the fish swimming in the waves. This unit has everything for entertaining and relaxation. This place is away from the crowds and traffic, and they have a really big beachfront as well. This is a perfect getaway for a couple.

Lovely view and much, much more!

We have visited the Big Island many times but rarely with the amazing view and refreshing sound of the water so close. This rental offers a lovely open floor plan for the kitchen, living room out to the double door lanai, making it feel even more spacious than it is. The kitchen is nicely appointed and fully stocked with almost everything I have at home. New appliances-everything in good working condition. Both bathrooms updated and spacious as well. Easy in and out keypad so no worries about who has the key and where are they or when are they coming back! Would happily stay here again. Mahalo and Aloha till next time

Excellent

This has to be the best-kept secret in this part of Hawaii. Most important, the condo is at the end of the building and right next to the water, and we had great privacy. We woke up to watch the birds and the surf, taking it all in from a really generous balcony. The kitchen and living room are upgraded in a really nice way. Everything was really clean and fresh. Two bathrooms for one bedroom, with a great air conditioner that made no noise at all. They have a big swimming pool and spa where we met people from all over. They have barbeques that are easy to use and there is plenty of room to sit on a chair in the sand and watch the sunset. We spent the first day unwinding and everything was perfect. We will definitely be back, and hopefully sooner this time.

This is the one - a real home in Paradise !

I could not imagine a more peaceful or healing place than this. The lanai is RIGHT OVER THE OCEAN and all we hear was the surf and the birds. All day. Our first breakfast was 3 hours - Amy forgot all about her zoom meeting and we celebrated the whole day. Put this on our list of places we can return to. There are the birds and the sea - the whole place is really managed well - and we could close the door and everything is so quiet! We go down to the beach to toast the sunset, and there must be eight others with the same idea. This place is so friendly that we really did not want to leave. And the place is so big - gigantic bedroom and bed, big kitchen with everything, and a work area with a desk and superfast internet. It could not be any better. Stay here and learn about the true Hawaiian Aloha spirit!

WE ARE COMING BACK TO THIS ONE !

This is the very BEST one-bedroom unit at Kona by the Sea !! It is at the very end of the building, practically over the water, with a tremendous view of the beach, the surf, and the ocean. My wife and I have been coming here for 7 years and we never had such a good place. Go for a unit that is NOT operated by Aston, so you have less to worry about. This rental company really has their act together, and they know what you need to have a great time. This unit has a good kitchen, with all of the appliances and kitchen tools. It has a big bedroom, and two bathrooms. The Living Room has a separate desk with really fast internet. The furniture is practically brand new. The carpet and everything were spotless - if you want things CLEAN, this is the place ! It has a Washer and Dryer - big refrigerator - great AC that works well. Park your car in the garage. Nice swimming pool and jacuzzi with friendly people from all over. There is plenty of room on the generous balcony - we sat there for hours and watched the surf, and ate most of our meals out there. This place is perfect for a one bedroom -- you will not regret it !
