This unit was EVERYTHING we wanted it to be. We arrived late at night and could hear the ocean but couldn't see it, we were delighted with the view in the morning! Location, amenities, cleanliness, grounds, after hours escort upon check in...we absolutely have no complaints and definitely hope to return to 2601!

Location and amenities, View and jacuzzi!!Condo was very nice, could use some updates in furniture but the beds were comfortable and clean There wasn’t any trash canisters evidently they are out in the road in and haven’t been distributed Besides that we had a great time!

Amazing Lanai!

Nice little spot in Keauhou. We stayed for a long weekend and were pleased with our stay. Nice little condo with a stocked kitchen for cooking. Plenty beach chairs in the closet for use and comfortable furniture. The lanai is spectacular though. Overlooking the ocean pool and the waves that seems less than 200 feet away. Surf was pumping when we were there, so the show was great. Probably get sunset views much of the year, we had a slight angle problem, but it's easy enough to walk out and sit by the pool. We really enjoyed our staycation. TY!

Best sunset view from the lanai!

The pictures don’t do it justice. Truly a beautiful location! Close to very nice beaches and harbor. Every staff member was helpful and friendly. Security was tight and we felt very safe. Communications with the owner was fantastic. Everyone did everything they could to make sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this place if staying in Kona. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful location

A very beautiful location with stunning sunsets. My wife and I have enjoyed our stays here for multiple years now and look forward to each visit. A perfect location for all that is Big Island. Close to beaches, PUPU’s, drinks, dining, and adventure. Well maintained condo with friendly staff.

Nice family friendly accommodation

We were very happy with this accommodation. We have stayed in Kona many times and this was in our top 10. The unit was very spacious, had good ocean views for sunsets, and overlooked the pool. The complex was nicely manicured and the staff were friendly. The host was prompt in responding to any questions that came up. This place was well stocked with essentials as well as beach gear, chairs, cooker, snorkel equipment etc. we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing!!

Beautiful home and incredibly clean. The location is perfect. The home was much larger than expected so our family of five (2 adults and 3 under 5) had more than enough space. The location to the pool and beach area were a huge plus. The property manager was super helpful and responsive. Everything was excellent and I highly recommend.

Great Condo at Kanaloa

The condo location is perfect for us, right by the Ocean Pool. The unit was very well equipped with good kitchen equipment, including blender and coffee grinder and lots of silverware. And they had quite a number of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc. Great trip!

Thank you for an absolutely wonderful time! The view from the lanai and the nearby Ocean Pool was amazing! We enjoyed watching ocean kayakers each morning over breakfast and sunsets from our lanai each evening. Everything we needed was provided. Very comfortable accommodations. Perfect location for touring the island. Luxurious vacation setting at a reasonable rate.

Back again!

We've stayed at Kanaloa at Kona Condos 7 times and twice in this condo. We absolutely love the complex and this condo especially. The condo is fully stocked, very clean and in a wonderful location in the complex. The staff are so friendly and helpful and especially appreciate the groundskeepers and housekeeping. If you're not up for the beach there are 3 pools on the property. We love the neighborhood and it's an easy drive down Ali'i to all the shops and great restaurants. We can't wait to return!

Wonderful location and views

Very clean and well-maintained property. Host was very accommodating for us when we had to change the dates due to an emergency surgery. Resort is close to many restaurants. Unfortunately, the ocean pool outside the unit was down for maintenance and the upstairs was being renovated so it was a little noisy from both projects but that is outside the host's control. We definitely appreciated having A/C as it was quite warm & humid while we were there - well worth paying extra for. Would seriously consider renting again in the future.

Awesome view, Amazing condo!

This was our 2nd trip to The Big Island and both times we stayed in 2601! The sunsets were amazing and access to the Ocean Side pool was convenient. This condo was fully equipped and the added bonus of AC was appreciated. We will return to the Big Island and stay in this condo again! The owner is very responsive to emails and if there are local needs Joe takes care of it right away. Mahalo for everything! Blessings, Carrie

This place was awesome, we had such a wonderful view. We enjoyed our stay here very much. I would love to come back some day soon. The only thing I can suggest is if you come to stay at the condos. You check them out before you go to the store. We bought a lot of things that were duplicated in the refrigerator you're condiments, mustard, ketchup, etc. A lot of people leave things and it wouldn't be necessary to buy more. Who's over there? Enjoy your day.

Great location. WE faced the ocean pool and the breaking waves. With a beautiful sunset very night!!. Had plenty of cooking utinsils, pots and pans and spices. Spacious rooms. It is a bit dated, but comfortable and we were only there in the evenings. Met some of the neighbors who come back every year so had a fun time at the pool and barbeque. My husband golfed many times at the Kona Golf Club which is quite nice and less than a mile down the road. And I did some snorkeling with Sea Quest which I could walk to. Next to the Outrigger. You do have to drive to the beaches and many are not great swimming beaches of course because of the lava but doable. Would stay here again

Great location

Would possibly stay again just due to the location! Great area and away from the crowds of Ali’i drive yet close enough when we wanted to go get dinner, etc. Condo is desperately in need of some upgrades, decor and furniture is very dated and falling apart. Couch creaked so bad when we sat on it I thought it was going to break. Patio furniture also has seen much better days. Beds were very old, uncomfortable mattresses so didn’t get great sleep. Selling points are location and the view is beautiful to wake up to. Was clean enough, but as with many vrbo’s, paying a large cleaning fee and still expecting renters to do dishes, start laundry, strip beds and take trash out before we leave is questionable.

Great condo for a family!

We stayed here for 4 nights in June and had a great stay! There were 2 adults and 1 child in our party and we had plenty of space. The condo was very clean upon arrival and we did opt to rent the AC units which definitely kept the unit cool when we needed it! We didn't use the kitchen a ton but it is a very well furnished kitchen. My favorite two things about this unit: the lanai and the proximity to the pool. The lanai was pretty big and looked out onto the pool and ocean. There was a table and chairs so eating al fresco was easy. We were also pleasantly surprised to find some beach chairs in the outdoor closet on the lanai. The unit is close to a grocery store and a couple of eating options. Downtown Kailua Kona is a 15 minute drive away where there are lot of restaurants and stores. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it! Mahalo!

Worn out and outdated.

The condo has an amazing view and the location near the pool and bbq was convenient. The condo itself is outdated and the furniture is atrocious. The beds are easily 20 years old. The two twin beds are hard as rocks. There was black mold in the hallway shower when we arrived and the toaster almost caught on fire the first morning we were there. Clearly it was filthy and smoked up the whole condo. It was stinky for hours in there even with the doors open. Previous guest must have tried to cook shrimp in it or something. LolWe love the area and the complex just not the condo itself. Needs upgrades bad. Couch should have been sent to landfill 20 years ago it's that bad.

Beautiful condo, lovely location, perfect for our needs. Watching the sunset was a highlight!The only ding I would give is that the owner lives out of country, and responses were mostly automated. Normally I wouldn't necessarily care, but as we were traveling to the island during massive storms with flooding and power outages reported and trying to decide if it was more responsible to keep our reservations or not travel...it would have been a big benefit to have timely replies. It all worked out fine, and we were very happy with our stay and location, however. We would stay there again!
